Didn't pay much attention to the skies and stars before but the red stars are most likely due to Redshift (even though hardly visible to the naked eye irl). Just means that the star is farther away and its light is only reaching the character at that moment. Pretty neat to include that!

If you play as Trevor and use the telescope to look at the sun, you can actually see some Jellyfish-like creatures moving towards the sun. Idk if you can also see it with the other characters, because fun fact: All three characters has a different looking sun. Just try it out in the game and you will see :)

The Skies are always beautiful in GTA V i always enjoy viewing them but i didnt discover something different there really 🤷‍♂️

What would make a great myth for GTAV (possibly even RDR2) is a solar eclipse, though I doubt the devs thought of that, even if they had. It'd probably go unused since it happens so rarely IRL

Hey Dark, I have something you could investigate and ''see'' if you find something in the sky. If you go to the Galileo Observatory, you'll have some of these telescopes you can use to look into the sky, but over the city at a certain time of day, you ''could'' see what looks to be a large eye in the sky but I cannot remember where exactly in the sky. There used to be conversations on lots of social media back in the 2000's about the illuminatti and stuff, and there are a plenty of references of the freemasons in GTAV. This was a HUGE thing back in like, 2015 when all the easter egg hunters went looking for freemason imagery in the game and the new world order was also referenced by Trevor multiple times. Maybe that's cool to check out?

Quite possible this myth could’ve stemmed from the oddly shaped stars in the sky, like the red ones or the oval shaped ones you mentioned. There’s even one that looks vaguely jellyfish-shaped in the middle-bottom-right around 6:21. I think the ‘moving about’ part could’ve just been people trying to make false rumours about something that’s only slightly weird and is more likely than not some minor graphical mishaps that came when Rockstar were creating the night skybox. There’s a similar-ish thing in Forza Horizon 5, at certain times of the day, mainly dusk or dawn, some small barely noticeable green lights will pop up in the skybox. It’s obviously not intended but it’s cool to spot regardless.
