I just found out that killing Dr. Friedlander in the last therapy session is non-canon :( And he will be the main antagonist of the continuation of the Los Santos Drug Wars update in 2023
32:24 I don't know If Friedlander was mocking Michael's name or not, but he did protect his fake identity and name, otherwise, Michael and his family would probably leave Los Santos or get arrested and Michael would be executed after getting arrested or get killed if he tries to resist.
But there's still patient-doctor confidentiality. Even if he didn't use his real name, he still broke his patient's trust by attempting to spill his secrets on TV.
Trevor was right in a conversation when you hang out Trevor will say that Michael “bottles up his emotions” and that he is actually worried when that glass finally breaks what will happen here at 22:41 the glass cracked and for a split second the real Michael came out the Michael who would have no problem burying his wife if she tried to arrest him
Narcissists are always angry but they are great at ignoring it for a long time thats why they explode. Their anger is why they are miserable all the time
There's 2 other characters without baggage surrounding their sex lives so I don't see why you'd make the one that DOES have baggage the one that has sex.
Michael’s conversations feel like the developers knocking on the 4th wall. He’s telling Dr F all these things that -we- the player have done in Michael’s body.
4:43 I have to go, Michael. 11:09 And have you, turned things over? 11:13 Well no 11:14 Not really 11:15 But that's not the point! 19:08 I've been doing some thinking.
Not really from the professional a youtuber said killing or sparing dr friedlander actually represents something Kill friedlander: this choice shows Michael never changed he is still a psychotic killer Sparing friedlander: this choice shows Michael is not a psychotic killer and changed
@@johnnyvargas5450 the choice to kill or spare the Doctor’s life is not Michael’s though, it’s yours. You either spare his life or choose to kill him and use Michael’s problems as an excuse.
@@giorgososougias397 true but that doesnt change a thing....they still can brake the law....same as murders which kills people against the law or racers brakin speed limit or such....if someone wants to brake the rule/law then he will do it
25:44 poor trevor after either you as franklin shoot him or not or Michael will. Michael may be hurt but he wanted trevor dead in the beginning of the game but Dave Norton shot the wrong guy brad instead by accident when Brad walked up in front of trevor. If the planned did go well in the beginning of the story. Trevor would be dead. Brad will end up jail hating Michael more when he gets away with Dave and the fbi. Who knows how the gta v story changes. Let's not forget Lester too
but on the way to North Yankton Michael recalls the conversation with Amanda and he says "it was the only thing I could do, either everyone dies or one guy gets out, I'm that guy", so Brad was meant to be killed too
Friedlander should be one of the MAIN antagonist of GTA V 🤣 He makes a depressed guy more 'lost his way' than before..it slowly killing someone from inside..
In the Fucked up session there was also another dialogue if you call Freidlander after Monkey Business and Michael says something like “I’m doing sort of ok i’m back in the city” or something like that
Two questions: 1. Is he basically a parody of Dr. Phil? 2. Is there a single character in the game that doesn't say profanity and/or acts like a more wholesome human being? Dumb question, but still, I'm just wondering.
He's basically just a satirical version of how people stereotype therapists. That they just want your money and don't actually care about how you feel.
There's One after "Monkey Business" or "Hang Ten" during F**cked Up Session about Michael being back in LS and get in Touch with Solomon Richards again for Movie Work, Hoping it's his way out to leave his Criminal Life
Yup. These sessions are a reflection on how the player keeps playing the game, full violence, and Mike, which the player controls, wants out of it, but keeps repeating it over and over
Half of his comments are just to demean Micheal rather than give constructive criticism or understanding about Micheal’s situation and thoughts. Nvm the billion ways he shows little to no concern for anything other than himself.
Hi, I know this is an old video so there’s not a high chance you’d see this comment but I can only try. When you say current game session do you mean the save file from the start of the game to the end or do you mean just from loading up the save after turning the console on? EG If Michael killed a bunch of people then I saved and reloaded would he get the dialogue for being good or does it count over the whole game? Hope that makes sense as a question. Thank you.
29:05 Me to Rockstar Games Nowadays after they still milking GTA V and GTA Online and Destroying GTA: The Trilogy: The Definitive Edition for Giving the Keys to Grove Street Games.
Its weird, I don't killed anyone as Michael up to the mission Marriage Counseling and he still says he's been out of control, does killing with other characters change his dialogue as well?
No it’s the same, back in 2013 either the technology or rockstar themselves weren’t up to actually changing the dialogue based on what you did in the world at least for those therapy sessions, that was only in RDR2, I’d assume tho if therapy comes back in GTA6 it’ll be a bit more fleshed out.
22:15 the cross road for Michael and Amanda, Michael can admit he's trash, Amanda can't, they could've been together here but now it'll never happen, not this way anyway
2:40 Poor people are also poor because they "sit on their asses" all day. Isn't that right? Anyway, excellent video for those who have not played the game and are unwilling to do so. This part of the game educates people about what psychiatrists are like. 😉
Real life would be refused next gen upgrade "Hey Rockstar I wanna talk to you about a next gen upgrade as other games have given that free of charge" Rockstar: "I'm gonna have to stop you right there as I've seen your precharge of 40$ hasn't gone through"
If u take the sessions right after they got avaible theyre doffrent if u take the same session after a mission or two In one session versions michael said something like "everyday since i pulled this fucking deck down, my fucking life is fuckin fucked fuckd.." (thats what i searched for, bc it directly fits to my situation with a false diagnosis and wrong heavy meds) Edit ~4: "doffrent" instead of different, I let it as it is, as my adhs make me think its that mistyped its hilarious
After everything he help Michael and being so nice person like Bob Ross style. I couldn't bring myself to kill him. So I just let him go, he deserve punishment but he don't deserve death.
What help and being so nice? All of that was fake. Michael was legitimately getting a breakthrough into his problems and possibly getting near to a solution and you know what Friedlander did? Stop that thought and say that's all the time for today. Wanna know why he stopped it? So Michael wouldn't actually find a breakthrough, so that he keeps getting useless therapy sessions from Friedlander. AKA, scummy therapist.
