Dear Jansn , you have done a very detailed benchmark here and this is perhaps one of the best open word games of the decade ( if not ever ! ) ... So happy to know that it can be played at a NATIVE 4K resolution !! This is Amazing news !! Now it comes down to personal preference if you want the Advanced Settings turned on OR want higher FPS . Also if one has a 1440p Monitor or a 1080p Monitor they can use Super Sampling technology such as DSR ( for NVIDIA gpu's ) or VSR ( for AMD gpu's ) . In that case MSAA is NOT required . Ironically it would not only lower the FPS but also potentially distort ( lower ) the image quality . Now IF one has a NATIVE 4K Monitor or TV , then I guess that MSAA at a LOW level ( definitely not X8 ) would make the image quality better WITHOUT it becoming too heavy on the GPU thus lowering the FPS ( drastically in the case of X8 MSAA ) . Thank you once again Jansn !!! You are one of the best out there :D
@@Jansn Dear Jansn , may I make a request for the future ? I would very much like to see a benchmark with GTA IV at 4K . If you only change the Resolution and leave the graphics settings as " Auto configure " , will it play at a stable 60 FPS ?? I would recommend a 3080 RTX or 3090 RTX as it is a notoriously optimised game ... Worse in my opinion than Crysis ( released in 2007 , not the Remastered version )
Now I understand why this game always started running like shit after an hour and it would take a minute just to shut down and get to the desktop on my previous system. It only had 8gb of ram and a 980 graphics card. I was saturating both
i got 5900x now myself and it can hit the engine limit of 188fps in gta 5 long as you are not bottle necked. so does my friend with 5800x with My 1080 Ti and his 1080 long as you dont have too high resolution or settings you can have 160fps miniium everywhere outside city, even in city 130fps if low enough settings once you go to settings like 4k, 1080 and 1080ti saw only 100-125fps in city and 120-130fps in city instead of 165-188 *188 being max by game limit* just dont use Graphic settings what your GPU cant handle. waiting for 3080 Ti later in few months, ill benchmark it myself and tell you guys real fps what u can get with 5900x and 3080 Ti . instead of these freaking stupid videos and fake videos
@Random Gamer yeah but you brobally play with gamepad so never "fast flick" with mouse so u cant tell diffrence between framerate , i can even tell between 100 and 120, 100 and 144 is more obious
@@epicwarding when you are close to the limit of the game engine the game will stutter like crazy dropping to 20fps and back up to 160+, lock the fps at your monitors refresh rate
OG GTA player here. This benchmark is pretty suitable for the usual gameplay. Complex environments don't mean much in a game in which you spend 90% of the time avoiding traffic and trying to catch air.
Came here because I have my setup running gtaV @1440p with everything on ultra or very high. Game play is smooth like butter but cut scenes are slightly laggy. I was not sure if it was my hardware. Gonna try again with MSAA off.
You should borrow Fugaku to see if you can finally keep over 100fps @ 1080p with the advanced options on. Rockstar optimization is as real as my will to live.
jansn make a new vid with low settings 1080 p in gta online. just so i know how much its gets to boost my car in that game when they finally deliver my graphic card. i dont like high settings. fps is 1st love th fact that they sti lsaying that its made for 8K high settngs with 60 hz
since this is a 3080 you gonna be bottlenecked if you play at low settings and this game has a 180fps limit and if you get too close the game will stutter so just play on max settings no msaa
@@LuvZenoMusic yeah i play gta online so wel on lwo settings i sometuems stil get 160 fps but i have niticed to high fps makes the car slower again 120 fps is best fps for 811 so i just nade some settings like reflection antilopfiltering and some other option on highest
So glad i didnt buy 5800x... 10700 was 25% cheaper and i get much better performance on maxed out in 1440p. You all keep listening to Linus, JayZ2cents and the rest of the paid channels ;)
