The 1998 Imprezas were apart of the "mean eye" generation and served as the inspiration for the Sultan Classic and its RS variant. I don’t know where the creator of this video got the 1998 model year because I remember the Sultan was supposed to have been an early 2000s car (I could be wrong though).
