i realised that the second dialogues are a bit more negative

The second dialogue on the way to the gun store should have been the first, from Niko joking about shopping carts full of AK47s to Dimitri telling Niko that Faustin and him can be trusted. Since this mission is so easy to pass I never saw this moment of foreshadowing.

13:00 this dialogue here, I think, best foreshadows Dimitri’s turn. He says he recognises a good business opportunity when it comes along and that he saved Niko from Faustin’s wrath because he thought he could be useful. That’s all Faustin or Niko were to him. Assets and tools to climb himself up the ladder. As soon as Faustin was more detrimental than he was profitable to Dimitri, he had him killed by Niko and then sold Niko to Ray Bulgarian in return for Bulgarian’s good favour. Niko favours loyalty above everything else. Dimitri has none to anyone but himself, that’s why he works so well as an antagonist to Niko.

By the way, if you begin this mission with the Desert Eagle, Dimitri changes it to the Glock until you reach the sex shop.

I accidentally killed Dimitry on the way back to Faustin's home. I did the mission on a motorbike and I crashed twice. On the second time, Dimitry died. I was literally around the corner of Faustin's house, so I got to hear the failed mission phone call and the two sets of dialogues. I never noticed the different dialogues before until I started to watch your videos :)

I think the dialogue 2 suits better for this mission it makes you think dimitri saved you're life from crazy vlad.

Man, the alternative conversation with Dimitri explaining Niko why there are no Ammu-Nation stores in GTA IV, and the ironic foreshadowing when he says he won't need the guns with him and Mikhail... so much better than the normal canon conversation, if you ask me

Sooo I’m revisiting GTA IV and made it to this mission. There’s one more thing to note that wasn’t featured in the video: shortly after the fail cutscene that’s triggered for injuring the shop guys, Niko actually makes a special fail call to Faustin to tell he hurt the guys, and Faustin reacts along the lines of “You are here to hurt people for me, BUT in ways that will make money” 👍

one fact in case u don't know: dimitri will say something (like a fun memory when he first listened to the song or something) when you tune in the radio to Vladivostok FM.

I just found out that you can fail by wasting all your pistol bullets at the shop and it leads to a call.

I wonder if wasting ammo does anything after Dimitri tells you to shoot that guy in the leg. Also, I believe that theres a mission fail phone call from faustin, if you killed one of the guys at the porn shop and the guy at the gun shop.

Hey @whatever57010 u forgot one thing in this mission. After you both leave the porn shop, you can go to the other islands, and if u kill any cops and take their weapons, they will ignore you. I have tested this for myself, and it is pretty useful because i can obtain a rocket launcher without dying, etc. I think this mission needs to be re uploaded again, and with what I just said, it is another possibility in this mission:)

There is a weird glitch after leaving the shop and when there is a wanted level police will not attack niko or arrest him. Like a no wanted level attack

I made a save file during the point where this mission becomes available...just to kill Dimitri a million times!! 😂😂😂 I do it every time I play gta 4!! Gta 5 has director mode to kill the idiots who turned on you in the way YOU want...or you can rampage with the cops and swat team

I like the sound of the sirene, when you shoot a couple of them, then they are out of sync soundwise, and it sounds a bit annoying, but hilarious. :D Niko did give him a slight push, but still the flying object made most of the damage. =p I didn't know that Dimitri has abilities of a dolphin, he did that water jump perfectly. :D :D

He was friends with Dimitri but after he got betrayed, Dimitri and his men been trying to kill Niko and Roman, in revenge or deal, I decided Dimitri first before Peg, a married man in a wedding getting killed is awful

that zombie cop glitch means that they wont attack you if you cross the bridge i did and went with dimitri to alderney and to the abandoned casino where the final mission happens and i killed him there game completed early

the -1200 always show up in the stats as spend on weapons even do it doesnt cost you anything.. when you already have an uzi its only -100 in stats but also doesnt take any of your money. ill try to collect full uzi ammunation before the mission now to see what happens. didnt do that yet but it always bothered me that it shows the money spend in the stats cause i play the game without buying any weapons :D i love what youre doing btw! im addicted to gta4 i played it like 20 times on 100% already and i start over all the time setting myself own goals in stats like 0 times busted/wasted/run down, 0 people run down, use only pistol, 100% accuracy, 0 first aids collected, 0 cabs used and as i already said no money on weapons spend etc... anyways :D keep bringing those awesome videos i watched many already but didnt have a yt channel or a long time just made one cause i need to subscribe :D and also its good to share and the moon is made of cheese and the streets is paved with gold.

My possibility to run this Mission is... I use to drive in a car to the sexshop, while Dimitri runs after the car. So make sure, you enter your car and drive pronto. So Dimitri need to run to your car to get in. But as long as you drive on slowly, Dimitri needs to follow you. Dont drive too fast. This guy should run not stand still. Wish you a comfort ride and the slimy Dimitri a good run.

Also do you have to buy the micro smg or can you just leave the shop? I’m going to use the police glitch in this mission so I want to make sure I can keep an smg.
