171 is impressive for an indie game, its not like they have hundreds of millions to work with like rockstar did at this point its definitely a solid project
So, I'm not Brazilian, but I think it'd be cool to see the country make a successful high quality game; a game which people anywhere can play and enjoy.

Honestly, if you think about it. The 171 devs have an advantage here in terms of development. These videos may help them look at what might people are looking for in a game. Plus, being in early access, they can have feedback from people on what needs to be improved upon.

From Alternative to 171, there are some modifications for GTA San Andreas, called GTA Brasil TC (for PC and PS2, but the console one is incomplete) and also GTA Generations (PS2). I recommend that you test it if you can, they are great modifications! COMENTÁRIO 158 (DESCULPE POR TIRAR O 157) 😭
150 developers worked in GTA IV with a budget of 100 milion dolars. 171 is being made by 10 guys with a budget of 50k dolars! Not a fair comparison, but still very fun! Tks for uploading it!
I hope you understand but 171 is still in development and it is based in a city here in Brazil I know it still needs to improve a lot of things but we are still starting, we are a small group of developers so it takes time to release new updates, but that's it. Sincerely -one of the developers
@@lambda-m1676 Yes they are. There was even a great "polemic" here about where they spend the crowfunding money for the game. Basicly everything in the game is bought assets except the map and aesthetics.
171 may have some things to change, but considering this is an indie game, you gotta appreciate how hard the guys work to create a whole game. Kudos to the creators, man I don't know what they would do with a lot of profit, probably even better than definitive edition from GTA trilogy lol

@@natanaeljunior2592 O problema não é o uso de assets mas sim o fato deles fazerem campanhas de doações com valores de 20mil reais ("as vezes até acima disso") para depois tudo ser convertido em 3mil reais de assets já prontos e isso sem considera a falta de transparência do pessoal da Betagames Group, pois se eles tivessem deixado bem claro que todo o dinheiro arrecado das doações seria utilizado para a compra assets baratos ("Algo que não precisava de meta alguma") daria até para relevar um pouco o caso.
@@E.V.E_Verdadeiro Bicho para criar algumas funcionalidades do zero esses 160 mil iriam embora num piscar de olhos, ter comprado um asset de mecânica e depois modificá lo foi bem realista pra atual situação deles (dev indie brasileira e com pouco recursos).
@@E.V.E_Verdadeiro Você vê que a propria Rockstar usava mecânicas como a Euphoria (de terceiros na época), já que construir uma do zero levaria muito tempo e também consumiria muito do orçamento, mas eles decidiram comprar o direito de uso dessa ferramenta e foram modificando de acordo com o projeto deles.
These guys are doing an amazing bang up job. Crazy to think one of Rockstars most important peers in the genre, you could say one of their now biggest competitors, is an indy group from Brazil🇧🇷 showing these so called 'high quality AAA companies' how it's done

I am definitely getting me 171. Gameplay seems amazing for a low budget company(what I learned from) and I have to say, graphics are also awesome. I honestly feel like this indie game would beat GTA franchise just like that. I feel like this game will go far.

yeah absolutely not. It doesnt even have a proper story, cant even compete with a 14 year old game and will never beat competition or better than gta. This game has literally been in development for 5 years already and still isn't finished. Gta 5 was in development for a little over than 5 years and it absolutely beats this game in almost every category and its an almost decade old game and thats not counting the gta 6 leaks which in pre alpha already looks better by FAR
@@titanusgodzillaa4274 at no time is 171's intention to surpass GTA, the real objective is to fulfill a dream of thousands or even millions of Brazilians, and man they only had $30,000 to develop this game, and a company with 7 workers, don't compare or say that the goal is to overcome because it will be wrong.

I am really impressed with the gameplay of this 171 game but i have to say given the circumstances, the only actual problem gta4 has is the graphics other than that it is way superior to alot of present games out there. I assure you that if rockstar remade gta4 and only fixed some major bugs, the graphics and added a few new interesting stuff then it might even sell more than gta5 has so far, bc it's just such an iconic game, literally the turning point in rockstars climb to greatness, this is just my humble opinion btw.
It's not perfect but it's still in development. For what they have, resources etc. it's kinda impressive. Rockstar have much more resources and men power to do GTA, developers of 171 don't. IMO, when they finish, it's gonna be a great game!
All things looks great, just few flaws from 171 on some Details like Explosions on Water, I'd still prefer GTA IV over this, also I remember 171 being unfinished yet and it's the early access of the game so probably waiting to see the whole thing Also I think few things are better in 171 like the destructible objects looking better but ok
For people in the back gta 4 has always been amazing but 171 is barely the beta. The full release of the game isnt coming out until 2024 so right now their improving everything from opinions of gamers

cara o problema é q eles n tem qm vá atrás disso, n é q ngm ajuda, é q eles n apresentam pra ng q pode ajudar. Os próprios devs são qm organizam toda essas paradas, e o pessoal no geral não nota a importância do trabalho de um assessor, se eles tivessem pelo menos duas pessoas minimamente competentes nessa área a equipe já teria 50 pessoas e investimento até o cu fazer bico
the game itself has no story it is made for entertainment and fun in addition to showing a little bit of Brazilian culture but it has some missions as a delivery man among some others.
I didn’t play 171, but one flaw I noticed is that cars lack speed, at least from what I saw in the video, the cars looked slow or the feeling they gave me was such. Anyway for an Indie it looks really well done.
The setting alone of 171 could have a lot to offer its south America. Getting out from poor slums up to SA drug cartels in the jungles would offer different stories you could not do in GTA due to different enviroments. Streets feel more narrow, more imperfections, its more like a rally track. Roads in the US are wide and that alone changes how you drive and chancess are more intense or narrow roads.
it's because 171 was based on a real city, Sumaré is the name, is a Brazilian City located at São Paulo, just have rich areas and poor slums or ghettos with rowhouses
GTA 4 уже старик, но всё так же является высшей лигой, именно тот уровень к которому все должны подходить, лучше делать можно, хуже нельзя, GTA5 не дошла до этого уровня пытаясь экономить на качестве, а должно было быть лучше.

Althought some bugs here, it shows that 171 has studied its lessons about physics. While it was in alpha-era, physics are better than Cyberpunk and Saints Row.
What about the comparison with GTA 3? It's very easy to pick a 15 year-old game and try to give out your indie-craft better than the recognized classics.
As a Brazilian, I would support "171", but because the game developers simply asked for a certain amount of money for such an improvement in the game, when in fact I makes me afraid, like, if you put together everything they promised to improve, it would cost around R$3,000, so in just one time they asked for around 21,000 to make just one improvement, the animation when you're walking, detail, the walking animation is already ready in the Engine they use, as well as the Day/night system, which they also asked for money to do, and even several things on the map already They are ready at ENGIN 🇧🇷.
