I actually prefer to use the MK1 for most situations. The better speed allows me to get to the site faster and call in more niche vehicles in the same time it would have taken me to fly there in a MK2. Also I find it easier to shoot vehicles that I cant lock-on to with the 1.
My friend tried to give me 15% for doing ALL of the setups with him on the doomsday heist even though I spent more money on ammo and armor than what he was giving me because I use the widowmaker and that thing eats through ammo. I wasn't asking for 50% I was only asking for around 20 to 30% for doing most of the setups myself. Now he'll never finish it because no one will do the heist for barely anything. When I said I was doing most of the setups myself I mean he basically just sat back while I killed everything and he complained if I died while he wasn't shooting a single bullet Update: he still hasn't done it and he keeps asking me to do it (still for 15%) even though I've moved on from GTA5 for Ghost Recon Breakpoint. His reason for 15% this time? "I did the heists before this with other people"... It was literally the first one Update again: we play on Xbox and for some reason his won't let him play anything online. He can't buy gamepass, gold or anything. I'm finally free
The one about heist is such a pain. I got recently tried doing the casino heist with these 4 guys I found on Xbox groups. I had a guy who had helped with about a quarter of the setups. I was willing to give him 20% as we were going to have a big cut and that was going to be plenty. He started complaining about how 25 was fair. The other 2 guys had joined at the heist finale and also demanded 25 as that was equal. I spent 20 minutes explaining how I had to pay for some preps, did every prep and needed cash yet they still said that was unfair. Eventually I decided to do a 20 cut each. During the heist though, they still complained how it was unfair, called me “horrible” and told me to “shut the f*** up” when I told a guy to turn down the music he was playing during the heist. Eventually we failed again and they complained how I was trying to go sneaky while they were going out in the open. I quit the heist and blocked them. I then found a crew that was ok with 15% and did what we were supposed to. Some guys are just an absolute pain to deal with
To be fair, the MkII may not be the “best at everything” as you say, but as an all-rounder it’s hard to beat. I mean if I had to choose one vehicle that would serve me throughout my time on GTAO, it would be the MkII. As for the speed test, I see no legitimate reason for being on the ground. If I want to get from point A to point B in a hurry, I’ll be taking a direct line, so the MkII will always beat the original oppressor. It does have its faults though. I hate the fact that you can’t do a drive by shooting from it. As a grinder, I use the MkII a lot, and some of the CEO missions, crates and I/E require you to shoot out the driver of a car. It would be nice to be able to do this from the MkII It’s just a pity people abuse it. The new 5 minute cooldown is a welcome addition to stop griefers, but that still requires the victim to be able to shoot it down first, and when you’re on foot and getting pounded, it’s not easy to shoot it down.
Danielle Camacho btw, your comment makes no sense. What’s wrong with being under level 300? You were below level 300 at some point in your GTA lifespan. And what’s wrong with my “mentality”? I was fetching a car for my warehouse, on my way to the location in my Insurgent, when 2 dudes of OppMk2s showed up. They lit me up while I was doing nothing more than driving down the highway, the missed a few shots and in the end the rockets that actually hit me only reduced my insurgent to "a bit smoky" But because they used up all their ammo on my insurgent I was able to bring the actually vulnerable car I had to pick up back to my warehouse without much issue.

Actually for the Casino Heist, if the other player(s) didn’t help with the preps, 15% is perfectly fine. If you take 3.6M, (2.7M after crew cuts), 15% is 400k for 15-20 mins of work. That is very nice. It’s actually better money/h than the host gets with the 85%.

@@atlantisstorm393 The Professional was saying that the mk2 isn't the "best" vehicle in the game, but didn't specify "best". "Best" usually means all around the greatest performing vehicle. The mk2 is just that, it really can do anything... (Except heist missions). The example is the mk1 on the highway. He said it isn't even practical to be on the highway, but if they both race on the highway the mk1 will win. That's one of those "no shit" arguments. If you argue something is better than something else, you have to compare them both with their strengths, rather than giving one competitor an advantage (mk1 as example). He talks about it racing on the highway, of course, mk1 wins. But if you look at the video (im of course assuming they started at the same time and he shortened the clip to where the mk1 is just starting to catch up) then you can see the mk2 had a good lead on the mk1, plus, if the mk2 is cutting corners, such as the bigger turns around the mountains, while not even having the chance of getting hit by a car, then the mk2 out preforms an mk1.

"The hangar business is a team business." - I'm sorry, but this makes no sense. You don't make any additional profit by having friends help you because they're spending their time too. It's still 17k per crate collected on long, boring missions, which is incredibly inefficient compared to warehouse crates or cars. In the time your friends spend helping you with your hangar missions they could have made a lot more money doing something else. The real (and largely overlooked) value of hangar missions is to unlock trade prices on aircraft. Once you have all the unlocks you want, there is no reason to continue doing hangar missions unless you just feel like it, because the money is garbage.
By calling it a team business, i’m sure he means it’s wayyy more efficient doing it with a team of friends, which is true. He didn’t say it was the best business he was just explaining how it was underrated.
I actually did the math on this a few months back. I have an Excel spreadsheet mapped out with per-mission revenues for the Hangar owner and I need to get on calculating revenues for the Associates/Prospects. It's actually not so bad money-wise to help your friend with Hangar. Hangar, Headhunter, Hangar, Sightseer, repeat until the Hangar is full and then sell. Take breaks every so often for everyone to go and restock their passives. If you get Chemicals, Narcotics, or Medical Supplies, and completely fill the Hangar, it's 14 missions including the sale for $807,500 after Ron. $57,679/mission is great. Easily outstrips Terrorbyte work - hell, I'd say it outstrips *Import/Export* work - if you've got four people. For the helpers? $20K/Headhunter and $25K/Sightseer, the paychecks up to $10K each every 15 minutes and at the end of each mission, and do the Hangar sale as an MC to give each Prospect 10% of the final sale amount *not out of the President's profits*.
is not useless.. is just way way way way way way way way way way less useful than other business ... i think even the MC printing is better? heck i think even doing VIP waving is better >.< you will get some money out of it.. it just wont be coke.. or bunker.. or meth.. or counterfeit or vehicle/crate levels...
Yeah, and it's only fair to help out your friends with their businesses after they've helped you out. And if you are helping out 3 of your friends, it's still rounds up to the same amount of work as solo work. Once for yourself and 3 more times for your friends. I mean it's a bit better than solo, but still not practical.
Stealing supplies is not bad people. It really just depends on how many MC businesses you have and if you have the bunker too. I can literally fill up my bunker and cocaine lockup in less than 30 mins combined time. It literally takes me about 3-4 mins per steal mission. And if you get a vehicle then that's double the supplies right there. Most of the things TheProfessional says is great advice, but there is always more than one way to skin a cat. Just giving my fellow GTA brethren an alternative to always having to buy supplies. Cheers guys!
Regarding the heist split: When I was new to the game I simply didn’t know the reason for the uneven cut. Then they explained it to me and I understood. Give others the same chance and don’t get mad immediately.
Hidde Koning No, it has to be explained to a new player first. They cannot know that the host has to pay for starting the heist. And please take your aggressive attitude somewhere else.

I would say the oppressor mk2 is more of a "jack of all trades" vehicle. It's not THE BEST at nearly anything, but it's very good at everything, and versatile. So it's used because theres hardly a situation where it's not good, and usually getting something that's better would take more work.
Fully agree with you there, man. I admit, Oppressor Mark 2 is my main mode of transport (I only ever use the rockets in PVE (i.e. during the Special Cargo mission where you have to shoot down helicopters)), just due to its accessibility, early warning system of incoming missiles and maneuverability. I know that it isn't the fastest vehicle (hell, if I'm near Fort Zancudo and I'm trying to get back to Los Santos, I'll always go and steal a LAZER because it's just faster), so I make a point not to rely on it and keep my driving and PVP (off the Oppressor, of course) skills up to scratch. I only ever went trigger-happy once with it, but then again, it was my first time riding it with rockets, what did you expect?
@@TheAwkwardGamer it's such a boring vehicle to use. the mk I is nearly as good at making money and is so much more fun to fly around the only time i ever use my mk ii is when someone pulls out the doomsday tank after getting gunned down a couple of times on foot. as for countering other mk ii users, lock on while they fly past, explo sniper or stromburg is the way i handle em. using another mk ii isn't the best choice as most smart players use chaff so you can't even lock on. meaning it's 50/50 who wins or if you trade. sometimes if i'v got a group of friends we use the avenger . as it can easily fly in circles to avoid missiles and if they catch you off guard you can still tank more missles then the mk ii has.
@@Prince42069 it's better if you buy a nightclub, a terrorbyte and get a trade price of MK2. I owned a Deluxo before the Oppressor Mk II came out and got blown up as soon as latter released. To combat myself, I bought the Oppressor Mk II sometime and forgot about my cars and planes, but I never thought that the Oppressor Mk II is better than the Hydra, in terms of speed e.g. When the original Oppressor was on sale in the last update, I saw the chance to buy one and I did. After I completed the research, I added the homing missles on it. You can fall off from the bike easier than its successor, but that's okay for me. Flying with it is so much more fun.
