This is a top 5 on the most common reasons that I see for people going broke. Is there any other reason that you can think of? Let me know if there is another top 5 that you want me to make. I have seen alot of people do these things and I have told them that they are bad, but many people keep doing them unfortunately.
One question: If you have a player on your ps4 crew and you caught them with car duplication glitches, knowing that he or she was always helpful and friendly towards other players, would you ban that person from your community? BTW love your vids here in Portugal, keep up the good work. ✌
ME: do you have a girlfriend the professional ? The Professional: no as a girlfriend is a luxury so newcomers shouldnt have one. I know friends who have girlfriends and always complain about having no money. So only get them if you have a steady income get one. ME: nice 1
Don’t have enough good words to say about this guy. 1. He doesn’t clickbait like most 2. He gets straight to the point 3. And he actually produces good content that helps everybody progress in the game Keep up the amazing content bro👊🏻
DK y u gotta be a dick? If u don’t like it don’t reply as it doesn’t matter what you think on small things also if u din t like Patrick or his fans go away
so the thing is people always do this and it’s so bad don’t do this idk why they do this just don’t do it it’s bad i don’t know why they do it just do this it’s easy do this not that it’s so easy i don’t know why just
I love having a massive car and military/weaponized vehicle collection. It’s really helped me stick with the game over the years. Bored of PVP? Get with friends and have a car show, bored? Think of ways to improve the look on specific cars you don’t love.
It is but if you own a ceo, bunker, cocaine and meth . You will make millions on top of millions. Its really any easy method, but you will have to spend alot of money. That's how gta keep us playing
madjames 23 Easy? That’s not true at all; that require so much maintenance. “You require more vespine gas”; what? I just refueled this business. Manager is like: Sorry, too bad; pay give me more supplies or no more money. It’s 70k take it or leave it. I’d rather sell fancy cars all day, then deal with that extortion; even though I still give them the money cause I don’t like stealing cause it may encourage griefers to try to steal my goods(In a weird cosmic sense).
Fungus TheTurd lol I have 3 bennys upgraded cars (all fully upgraded I think) and a bunch of expensive cars (deluxo, drift tampa, autarch, insurgent pickup custom, apc etc.)
Me: is broke on GTA Online Reason 2 you're broke: spending it all on cars you don't need Me: looks at a fully clownized Faggio and Panto, together with an arsenal of souped up Issis Yeah, I still don't know how I got broke.
Whenever I'm screwing around in gta, I take solace in the fact that I could sit on my ass and still have my businesses, bunker, and nightclub producing money for me. I don't really need the cash, but I always tell new players to invest in stuff that's going to make you money before buying expensive toys
The furst big purchase a person should do is an armored car and a kosatka for the cayo heist solo. After getting the kosatka its all easy peasy after that
Yes, spending money is fine, but what prof is trying to say is first get all the businesses that will be usefull for your playstyle, and then get the cars you would like.
At the end of the day the whole point of playing is to be entertained and have enjoyment, if that’s what you like and makes you happy then keep it up (:
@@moko5228 I've just gotten all the businesses after about a year of playing. If I was only interested in cars, I would not want to do that much work just to START buying cars.
I know this video is old but I gotta do this The professional: "businesses are the best way to make money" Cayo perico: "I'm about to end this man's whole career"
That's what I do aswell for all business stuff except for sells because even if you get cargo destroyed you can just close the game and it wont save but it depends if you think the bonus money is worth the potential hassle
@@xdifficultviper9916 Those people are called modders and glitchers lol i have lots of the stuff i want i even have a ruiner 2k and a useless cerberus but i grinded for it so i kinda deserve what i bought
someone on earth eh even those with modded accounts stick around because when you can have it all why not play? And I play on ps so very rarely run into hacked accounts all my friends just got bored being broke and instead of investing in money making items they bought super cars
not really. most items arent really overpriced lol. its not that hard to make money, and yes they do need shark cards because theyre kind of a company, which needs to make money
They aren’t over-priced most of the time. I agree with businesses. I run them all.. on two characters. I’ve made over 2 billion in 3 years playing with my friends ... legit!
@@joauwa6940 GTA V made a billion dollars on day 2 during its release. if rockstar needs shark cards to make a profit, then they are either lying and just want as much money as possible, or they are horrible at managing their profits. they can easily make the game survive just by creating some good DLC packs to keep single player relevant. of course, that means more effort, so they go the easy way and tempt you with cash cards instead
@@Underworlder5 bruh, theyre not going to make online content for free. in fact, you really dont have to spend any money at all. they are a company, their goal is to make money, and theyve been giving you FREE content for 6 years. 6 years dude. compare that to ea where you spend loads on dlcs for the game life span to be a year.
@@leylannfitzgerald8473 I go afk alot, while sleeping or at work. I usually come home to see I've lost about 100-150k..but my nightclub generated 700k so the fees aren't bad if your setup right
@@grapersmcgee7923 just because it's been there for a long time doesn't give it a pass. Rockstar has been having a lot of trouble countering these exploits because they're simply not patchable. You can't stop someone from shutting off their rig during a heist, but they can penalize you for it. And now the more you do it, the worse the penalizations tolle, boom, a wipe. Or a ban.
I’m level 60 and have all the businesses and have never bought a car and now I can finally buy some cars and make some money. I think buying cars is a thing to do when you have business.
BOOM that's what I want to hear selling solo is making money hell even if they sell half their making little money their making money nonetheless not spending
I own weaponised vehicles not just for PvP but because i like driving them for fun and collecting them. The dune FAV and hunter are among my favorite to just cruise in.
Even that gets you a bigger payout if you go in with one friend. Split it 85/15, grab the gold, do the other heist, 15/85 rinse and repeat. Most I've gotten was 2 mil from that.
@@AliMuhammad-vo3cz Yeah, you can get so much money so fast that the game gets boring with nothing to buy. You can always make a new character, level one, and buy whatever you want because R* made money transfer between characters
My cousin has everything in Paleto Bay thinking it’s good because it’s cheap. He thinks the bunkers good because he doesn’t realize that you have 15 mins to sell cargo, but he gets super lucky. Gets the best sell missions and never gets griefed. When I tried to explain to him that Paleto Bay businesses suck, he said that I’m a liberal against Paleto Bay businesses and that there’s no difference. I was able to convince him how to do the casino heist easily. Before that, he didn’t even know that in SILENT AND SNEAKY there was stealth so he went in guns blazing. He didn’t know there was gruppe sechs for big con so he did bugstars and went in guns blazing. Because of that, he thought that PAIGE was the best and gave the “FULL” two mins in the vault when that’s not the case at all. He also doesn’t even use the horse track as the getaway place. He goes to the side behind the parking lot where there are like 10 guard waiting there while on the horse track there are 3 groups of 2 guards along the way. Sry I moved from bunker to casino heist but still. Oh, and I hate the facility and arcade in Paleto bay mainly because I hate driving normal vehicle if it’s slow or not for a mission. Oh And my stable form of income is just the casino heist and the cayo perico heist My other cousin says that cash from the casino heist is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE after I told him that it gives 300,000 less than artwork and grabs a little slower. So he thinks that cash gives him a terrible cut. When I’m hosting I give him 40% and it would give him 750,000-500,000, and he thinks that’s bad. When he’s hosting it gives him between 1,000,000-750,000 and he still thinks even that bad.
I get why they go broke, gta is one of the only games(other than forza horizon) that has cars that are constantly added, I fucking love cars so its pretty tempting
@@theLUCKYdude17 same position. When I started It took a lot of will power to spend my money on businesses rather than cars that I love so much. Now I have my office garage that's full with my favourite super cars and sports classics!
Top 5 reasons players gain less money than they expect(Doublespeak) 5. Doing missions that pay inappropriately 4. Lone wolf 3. Investments in which make less profit than you hoped 2. American consumerism 1. No investments at all
This one time, my group was just kind of faffing about between jobs, taking a break to just enjoy a breather, and we saw a notification that someone was selling cargo from LSIA. We opened the player list, and saw it was one guy doing a solo drug sale for their MC; three Buzzards in Devin Weston's Hangar. There were a good few other people in the lobby, and some of them were killing other players, so we all headed for the hangar, and we just stood by it all. One person came by to check things out, but the moment we all drew guns on them, they threw their car into reverse and drove away. We were certain that they were there for the cargo, but ran when they saw a squad of four people in heavy gear pointing guns at them. Eventually, the dude came back to collect a second chopper, and since I was the leader of the group, I took out my PDW so I could show I was armed while still offering a salute. The others hung back by the remaining choppers, armed, but not aiming. The guy seemed nervous, but he just ran to his next chopper, got in, and took off without us doing anything, so when he came back for the last one, he just ran past us, we again did nothing to get in his way, and as he took off, two of my friends got into a Hunter and followed him, flying alongside him, never behind, and people actually moved out of their way when they approached. When his sale was over and we got the notification that all his cargo had been delivered, my team waived off, and we got back to our own work. Dude started thanking us in the public chat, saying how he thought we were going to grief him, but was extremely happy that we didn't. We told him it was no problem, and that, "Umbrella Security was happy to keep your supplies safe."
Literally the patience to put time into the business and not spend it on luxury goods relates to real life and why a lot of people in real life struggle with money even if they have a good job. And its because they aren't putting it in the right places or having patience....
Im the only one of my friends that actually grinds and they play and don't do anything to get money amd spend it on cars and clothes and then whine about being broke
Hey professional, I know this is a very old video but it is now 2023 you saved me hundreds of dollars in real life and countless hours grinding. I really appreciate the videos and the hard work you put in to your channel. Keep doing what you’re doing and you might single-handedly put rockstar out of business. Thank you so much.
Thanks theprofessional. I started playing gta 2 months ago and didn’t know how to start cuz everything was overpriced and didn’t know how to make money. Starten watching your videos and I bought my first business which was coke. I grinded the business for a few days and I got another mc business. I then grinded and grinded and I’m already at rank 120 and I almost own all the businesses apart from weed and document forgery. Now I can buy whatever I want and make the money back in less than a day.
Me too Edit : I always had around 250k - 500k and always 1 car but because of the casino heist I always have at least 3 mil and 5 normal cars and an imperator and also a paragon r (armored) including the oppressor mk 2 Btw I don't destroy people's cargo ._.
The biggest reason is the obscene upfront cost that goes into making passive income businesses possible, and the least taxias possible. To make serious cash efficiently to start buying 'luxuries,' you're gonna need approximately $20,000,000 upfront (Upgraded Bunker, Upgraded Nightclub + businesses, Terrorbyte, Oppressor MK2, Kosatka and Sparrow). Of course we've all done it, incrementally, some point over the last decade. For us that is an inconsequential amount we can earn handily, but for someone that has just bought the base game and is starting today... That is no small feat to accomplish. Especially by themselves if they've no friends to boost them through either the casino or cayo heists. It is then unsurprising why so many new players fall into these traps, because that cash translates into a helluva lot of cars and toys. Cash that would otherwise be a sunk cost investment that would take 100+ hours to recuperate and turn profitable. So any advice would be to do activities until you have 4 million (focus on x2 payout activities), buy the Sparrow and Kosatka as your first big ticket purchases. From there, do Cayo Perico stealthily (read a guide) two-three times to buy the Bunker, upgrades and the cheapest MC clubhouse. And through a combination of both, start chipping away at the Nightclub and prioritize the Terrorbyte/Oppressor MK2 first because both the Sparrow and Oppressor MK 2 will give you unparalleled freedom of movement across the map to do everything you need to do. As you're then on your way to finishing off the Nightclub, spoil yourself with a few cars and toys so you don't burn yourself out. Highly recommend the RC Tank. Despawns your character, hides you from radar all from the interaction menu and is a great anti-grief tool.
3 years after this video, fortunately there's ways to have a steadier stream of income but the base remains: invest in businesses that in the long run will give you cash. Nowdays priority is to save enough for the Kosatka and run Cayo heists solo, with the enterprise pack available for free, you get a bunker, a business in a motorcycle club and an office. With those you can do some VIP work or getting cash for the submarine, afterwards: just invest in a car warehouse and a special cargo warehouse from what you've earned in them Cayos, then buy a nightclub and let the business run alone, I also see the auto shops as quick way to make cash by doing the Fleeca/Union Depository jobs as fillers for relatively quick/easy cash while alternating Cayos so don't get too bored of grinding that heist. But yeah, now it's easier to have a steady stream of income than before.
I don’t think there’s a issue with playing solo by choice. Some people just want to be the only person responsible or simply prefer doing it themselves. You shouldn’t criticise a player because they don’t play “the way you want”.
I'm a solo grinder and I have been successful ever since I've reseted. Why drag someone with me? But that doesnt mean I'm selfish or my ego is maxed. I love going around helping others, such as friends and randoms, because I know they need the help
I don’t even choose to play solo, I have seriously bad anxiety whenever talking to anyone online, especially if I don’t know them irl, there have been times I’ve been playing with one other friend and then they invite someone else I know and my anxiety kicks in, I go silent and then ghost them because I can’t deal with the socialisation.
@Daniel The Fortnite GOD it offends me that their are so many who enjoy gaining 2k for destroying 200k of my money...... It's almost as if rock* have paid trolls to try to push ppl into buying sharkcards......
In response to Number 4. Most probably just don't have the patience that the tolerance may not be enough to consider accepting help. Nobody likes to owe someone in return if it means it doesn't make it even. At least in my experience. That and now a days some friends never usually answer the message often.
I don't think some people should be playing with others because of myself in case I have anger issues and i become toxic some times so i prefer to stay away from other players when I grinding.
I'm so related to this. I'm a really toxic person when I'm grinding. I mean, I really hate when my "friends" fail in a mission or accidentally destroy my cargo, so I basically do everything on my own.
1 week into gta i have like 6 armored vehicles, a ceo office, cocaine biz, bunker, submarine and man... the week of setup was worth it. Money just comes now
@@xdarkfuturex7922 For players like me in the high hundreds with days of playtime, starting from scratch would be terrible, all that grind time would be wasted
On number 3 when you were talking about clothes you really can go broke, I had a old friend and on social club it says “Has spent 3.1 million dollars on clothes”
d_Mayic i spent 8 million dollars in clothes but the worse part isn’t that. It’s the fact that I spent 10 million dollars in weapons and ammunition and I’m not even a griefer, I don’t even use my weapons that often
I used to always steal supplies and you made me buy supplies on my business because your just wasting you time on those missions for just 1 Bar I respect you
6:00..... I was selling in a lobby with just me and my friend and my shipment got destroyed.... he said "the game told me I had to destroy it" thanks to my friend i lost 200k
@@landerclarisse2527 most of the time. there are mk2 griefers but at least 50% of the lobbys i am in there are pretty mutch no griefers. the chance is pretty small to encounter one in freeaim lobbys
Being a solo player isn’t that bad It’s peaceful It makes you hustle to grind for your money without depending on others And it’s good to have some alone time here and there
I had a friend who always played alone so me and my friends we invited him to our party and started praising him him and how he is great at the game and after that i never saw him playing alone.
I was lucky to meet a random person that I joined in doing 2-3 Cayo heists and that made it possible for me to buy my own Kosatka and Sparrow. 2 weeks later and I have almost all the businesses. I own a fully operational Nightclub warehouse, CEO office, a Bunker, a Clubhouse, a Hanger, an Agency, a terrorbyte, a fully upgraded Oppressor Mk2 (it's the best to grind), a Nightshark, a almost fully upgraded Toreador and a lot more. All that in just 2 weeks of doing a Cayo Heist once a day.
@ANDROID MASTER People are different, some people spend time with their family and friends. Just because people do have that that does not mean all gamers do not spend time with their family. So quick to judge lol.
I filled my garages with 90% stolen cars. I've bought just a small handful of cars and other vehicles that were on sale, basically following The Professional's advice. Now, I'm past level 250, have cash in the vault and have all the unlocks and weapons I need to make money. And all due to paying attention and grinding.
@@mrcarnagegodpro3674 I trade in at least 100k worth of chips everytime i get on just doing ms baker missions here or there. You don't think about the chips so they add up faster than you think.
Solo public lobbies are the answer, you may not get the multiplier bonus, but you can still sell your merchandise and not get grieved. Just my 2 cents.
man i have to thank you, i installed gta 2 days ago, and everytime i have to do a deliver something some high level player come to me, and help me ending the mission. i love them, i want to be like them. one guy shawned me even all his cars and apartment
I'm glad that I've spent a bit of my time watching a video or few, over purchasing a business... so that I can make more money as time went by. I went from choosing the Executive CEO, to getting a Bunker, and also having 4 out of the ones that I need for my MC Club (missing one more - 4/5)... and now I own a Nightclub as my last business. I have done mistakes in GTA Online (in the past) where I'd be getting an expensive super car/vehicle for racing... and that isn't me to this day.
