This is a list of the worst paywalls in the game. Some properties make sense to buy together but other vehicles and properties do not. You are forced to buy some things that have nothing to do with each other. Let me know if there is any other paywalls that you guys do not like.
The rdm factor is the worst shit ever. Mates Had the best techs after 1/3 of the Research. I have 5 researches left and 3 of them are essential. But having a second acc which has hacked money let me forget that shit xD
3 of my friends that joined this game during the free on epic games phase had gotten an office for free, and when naming the organisation they thought they might name it later and kept the default name. All 3 of my friends are avid gamers and assumed they wouldn't require money(or at least little money) to change the name and lost 250k instantly for a name change in which one of them made a spelling mistake.
This is why a LOT of people left GTA. If they could just stop overpricing everything and giving out laughable mission payouts, I guarantee more and more people will come back.
once i bought all the passive businesses, i got rich, and now i'm thankful for how overpriced everything is, because it keeps me playing. i get very bored with new things, so for me to be able to buy everything at once means i would play this game once a year. now, the random system of progress in gta is very bad. the research, the overwhelming arena trade prices, the rare special item cargo that happens once a month for measly 100k, and the random delivery vehicles you get in sales missions, now those are the true enemy of this game
The question should be how. Do they scrape it off the vehicle and analgise it's composition or compare it using swatches? Either way it's a con they've worked out so they just look busy.

Player: But he's literally right there! You know what, I'm just gonna buy it, I don't care anymore. *Later R*: Hey, look at this better rocket bike which makes yours completely opselite! Player: (defeated) alright I'll buy it... R*: Aren't you forgetting something? Player: what?! R*: The Terobyte, the night club and upgrades for the Terobyte! Player: But I don't have enough money for all of that... R*: Lucky for you, we sell money. Player: Quits
I like how the MK2 is shit without: - Nightclub - Terrorbyte - Specialized Workshop - Enough money left after the 2 million you wasted to actually buy the MK2, missiles, and all the other things that make it worth having So yeah, bout 6 mil in the end
It's genuinely sad how much lost potential was thrown out for power creep. We could have had entire dlcs based on weed, meth, etc. Each business coming with ts own variety of missions and stories. Instead, 5 years worth of street crime updates were shoved into one update so we could get to fucking military bunkers asap.
The Arena Wars update is just as bad as the Southern San Andreas Super Autos update a few cars and races that’s it.... very unfortunate I wasted about 100 million dollars of my money just buying these vehicles I was legitimately angry
Damn I never thought about something like explosive ammo. You need to own the gun You need a bunker You need to cycle through up to 50 projects to unlock the explosive ammo You need an moc with the weapon workshop And the cherry on the cake is you also have to buy the upgrade after all of that
Just put all your workers on research and jump on the cameras in the bunker. What I did was leave my system on all day while I was at work so I could actually get research done without having to pay 220,000
There was a time when rockstar was highly praised as being one of the only consumer friendly developers. Always putting quality and experience above everything else . How fucking truly and unashamedly greedy they have become. All the way to the point where they completely ignore all community feedback
The only real grind is about 3 mill to get the arcade, then you can make max of 1.4m every 2 hours. You could easily make 5 mill per week only playing 40 minutes per day. I grinded for hours straight and only took me 9 weeks to get everything i wanted (60 million +) 9 WEEKS. The games been out for 8 years. ( start off with contact missions )
Tip from a veteran player: Never fast track research or set your bunker to produce product and research at the same time. Here’s what you want to do. Rockstar has weekly updates and bonuses in GTA Online, so wait until they have a boost on bunker research, it might be 0.25% or maybe 2X. Then had your research team only do the research projects that week. You might not be making any money, but you will definitely unlock all the research projects in that week and get them out of the way forever. Then when everything is unlocked, just set your manufacturing team back to make product and your all set.
I always have my bunker set on research because i use the master control terminal in my arcade to let all of my other businesses produce and at the same time i spam the absolute shit out of the casino heist
Me: here is the tank you wanted Scientist: perfect! 11 hours later Scientist: YOU WONT BELIEVE THIS, WE DISCOVERED SOMETHING AMAZING! Me: what? Scientist: A LIVERY Me: 😂😂😭😭
Me: "Damn I would love to have explosive rounds, it would be a good way to deal with jets in freemode and also op mk2s (I play on PC so aiming is quite easy) and in those painfully hard doomsday heists I could easily deal with those overpowered NPCs." -> You can't choose which research to do, it's at random. -> Need 225k to fast track a research. -> Explosive ammo ended up being the 4th to last research to be done and I wasted 225k in all previous researches. -> You still have to pay for the upgrade despite it being research. Now the most outrageous part... -> NPCs in the doomsday heist, not even the Juggernauts, but the REGULAR NPCs, can survive 3 FUCKING HITS FROM AN EXPLOSIVE ROUND THAT CAN 1 SHOT A CAR!!! THREE FUCKING HITS!!! The same as the normal bullet from the Heavy Sniper with no upgrades. Are you SHITTING ME??? Oh and worst of all... -> You can only have 40 bullets of explosive rounds and you can't buy them in ammo-nation or in the interaction menu. This is why I bless the modders (despite that I think 99% of them could burn in hell for all I care for destroying people's game and entire sessions) that have dropped over 500 million dollars on me all these years since 2015. I would literally have to quit my IRL job and would need to find enough other people with also enough time to spare to help me grind for all of the overpriced shit you have in GTA. In all these years I was only able to grind about 250 million, and in those early years I played a lot. Just not worth it anymore. The Professional here can do it because it's pretty much his job and he gets RL money for it with these youtube videos. Or pay about 10k€ in shark cards to get them. ... In a game that IS NOT FREE to play and costs 60€ to buy. I only want to do the last 3 achievements I have left of this game on Steam and be done with GTA 5. Done the single player 100% which I enjoyed and was hopeful R* could've added some updates to it... But no...

Even though research was bad, it produced a lot of useful things. The arena on the other hand, is extremely overpriced, and even clothing is hidden behind trade prices, and the vehicles aren't even that useful (Apart from maybe the ZR380)
All u have to do is wait for agent 14 to ring u an tell u research is complete, go to your computer and if the next item isnt what u want to unlock u can close the application an when u get back into your bunker there will be a different item to unlock. Keep doing this untill u get what u want. Took me about 5 hours but i just unlocked explosive rounds on my 2nd character
I only use my arena garage to change the lights of my supercars xd, I'm level 650 on the game but level 1 on arena cuz i didn't give a shit about it, just played once and i said wtf is this, and left to never come back to that horrible place.
Rockstar should increase the money from Some businesses. For example that a full large crate warehouse gives u 3 million or one IE car 150 k. There nearly no grinders out there so why not give more cash to increase the number of Grinders because the other players just glitch or have UA. But wait, this won't help rockstar to increase their sharkcard sales, so this will sadly not happen

Perfectly put together. I would say though, that the bunker can make all of your money back, or even cost you no money at all if you're selling the bunker as you're fast tracking research. On top of that, while the skins are useless, the mods it produced were so freaking helpful.

I can understand a small fee for swapping the weapons, maybe like 20% as a "mechanics fee" but buying the entire weapon all over again suuuucks. The first time I encountered it I thought it was a bug.
@@erikallen3804 I'm not saying the existing fee is a mechanics fee. I mean if they charged drastically less, but still had a small fee, it would be much more realistic. You have to pay a mechanic to put something new on your car in real life, you just don't have to re-buy it if you already have it.
For me the worst paywall is having to own an moc or avenger to customize weaponize vehicles like the deluxo, the vigilante etc. Is just a non stop grinding.

Player: Seriously? Ah fine, I'll just fast track this Ballistic Armor research, and a painting? R*: Yep, one of a kind. Player: *Fast tracks all of the researches.* I finally got the missiles unlocked! And now how do I customize it? R*: You're gonna need to buy an MOC. Player: I don't got enough money. R*: Luckily for you, we can give you money! Player: Really? R*: Yes we can! JUST gonna need to buy yourself a shark card of your choosing! They have been doing this since 2016 ever since the Gunrunning update came out. This is Rockstar Logic if I ever seen one. Why the hell do we need a Facility to start heists when we already have a freaking Bunker that is underground. Not to mention the Arena Workshop is required to have the RC Toy car. WE HAVE SO MANY FREAKING WORKSHOPS AND WHY THE HELL WOULD ROCKSTAR CHARGE US AGAIN TO GET ANOTHER WORSKHOP ITS SO STUPID! I am so sick an tired of these god damn pay wall.s The Arena Update is a perfect example of what happens you have to spend so much money just to play an adversary mode. Its no wonder the past updates have been so expensive as hell.
I do not mind the facility but it is quite useless that it is used just for heist and the bunker does not have any vehicle storage for our weaponised vehicles and such like what they did for the special vehicles from Import/Export
@@bradwhite5884 Believe me the Facility became useless after I finished all of the Doomsday Heists. I barely even use it anymore. I guess people would use it because of you know the Orbital Cannon, but for me I just have no use for it anymore.
They constantly add another property because people want more garage spaces, but there is limit of only 5 normal garages, and when they release a new property they make it usefull for the DLC.
Patience pays. I bought the nightclub on sale, bought the terrorbyte on sale, ran 5 client jobs to get the mk 2 on sale at trade price... $1.9 mill! DO IT!
@@fazbianz634 non earning players should start earning! Do 2 or 3 missions each time you play the game, 30k to 45k $, it adds up. Lots of ways to get $, daily challenges, heck R* throws money at us!

Totally agree with you with the Arena War, the only reason i got it was for the RC vehicles, I'm a solo player and kept getting attacked and wanted something to defend myself i regret it now due to the fact that i got the RC tank for free on Christmas. The only reason the Nightclub is useful was the Terrobyte (needed to upgrade MK2 Oppressor) and the passive income i get from warehouse. Hell you get better money from the Air Vehicle business.
best rockstar logic ever: you are hacking into computers in properties YOU OWN, so you can STEAL supplies. NOT BUY, steal. like i need to announce myself to the workers that i'm coming with supplies! wouldn't it make more sense if you could "hack" into your own computers to tell someone in your bunker or meth lab to buy supplies with your money? these thing piss me off. and not being able to spawn another vehicle when you're close to it. can't johhny on the spot bring me a new car and take this one back? and how the fuck does johhny get back when he finally does bring me my car?
I always wondered why they would never add new hairstyles. But they’d probably make you buy a new barbershop for 5 million dollars then make you do research for the new hairstyles
I bought the arena and am not disappointed. I was at first that I couldn't upgrade the arena war vehicles but then I found out you can use it to customize any vehicle and it has a lot of storage space.
Worst part is, R* finally added coloured headlights, after years of hundreds asking for it. Not only are they trade priced, you need to spend almost a million dollars just to get the garage to put them on?!
I fast tracked two things when I saw they were something I may want. It turned out that was all I ever used. Mini gun for the Insurgent Pickup and remote guns on the MOC.
First time I ever used a Gun Bench was in my Arcade Basement after setting up the guns for the Casino Heist... just another possible Paywall for the Gun Bench. Setup the guns for the Heist, but don't complete the Finale. No need to buy an extra upgrade for it anywhere. If/when you feel like doing the Heist, just do Setup mission for guns again and it is back in your Arcade Basement... a little work, but still free of cost for the grinders without a lot of time lol.
This is not true, it takes 75k to have a full supplies bar, and that fills 1 research project and then some carries over into the next one. Unless the math factors in time spent, then its 100% cheaper.

On the other hand, the arena just costs so much money, and you can't really do anything to make that money back. The pay is so bad, even when the arena was 2x$. What's worse is clothes trade prices, like really?!?!? 50k for some boots? Worst R* logic ever.
The thing is, the remote turret would make the Weaponized Tampa the funnest vehicle to mess around with but we are stuck with using the Speedo Custom which you can’t use during heist setups.

The weapon bench has been included in many of the new properties, so it's not so bad now. Also the Avenger can now be stored in the hangar. I personally like it in my facility but its nice that they changed that.
Yeah it did annoy me that I had to buy the nightclub to own a terrorbyte, it's like "cool I finally have enough to buy a terrorbyte......wait i have to buy the nightclub too? Well back to more grinding I guess"
@@MAVORlC the first week of owning a CEO warehouse I made 8 million, in one week, and in the first week of owning the nightclub I've only made less than a million, around 900k, it's too slow and not worth it at all

Recently I wanted the mk2 oppressor, and I wanted the trade price, so I saved up enough for the terrbotye, but tells me I need a night club to buy it. Then I got the night club and in the terrbyte, I need to pay an extra somthing to be able to store the oppressor,....
