i remember when i first played this game. My friend who lived in my building bought it, he didn't even have a ps2 but I did, so he would come over every day after school and we would take turns playing. it got to the point where he literally stopped going to school just so he could play San Andreas, lol we were addicted. Good times.

I like that they decided to add rain to the cutscene where Tenpenny dies.

The riot effect in the original is more dramatic, people are randomly fighting, smokes, fires, car exploding, some rando with a rocket. This one is just empty street.

To very much sum it up: Tenpenny is like your bastard General Shepherd, only worse. He incited chaos out of finding loopholes in the justice system. To me, that's even worse that letting the world fall under a third world war over anything. He's supposed to be a trusted figure, even though he doesn't head a battle against a certain evil. Tenpenny was into the drugs deeper than Smoke was. Worse is... Smoke took the offer of being the fall guy. Do you know why Smoke was offered and determined to be a king of drugs in the first place? It's because Tenpenny wanted to take Smoke down and be labeled as a hero... and it's the same for General Shepherd as the guy started the airport massacre in the first place.

Played this game like more than a decade ago. Saw the definitive edition and decided to play first the Vice City and just finished this yesterday night. Nostalgic. 😢 P.S.
