Police records can't show discharge status, it's not in their database. Tractors in a rural county like sandy are always legal to drive on the road regardless of condition
I know this is old, but many tanks actually are street legal. Treads are street legal, unless the county or city has a bylaw stating specific vehicles, such a snowmobiles and tanks, or tread bearing vehicles etc, are not permitted on roads, then by all legal authority, they are legal as long as they are decommissioned, or authorized by a specified person of authority within the country/city/county, and must be operated by a person with training in said vehicle. If they are not permitted on a road, then they are technically allowed offroad, unless again, the county/city states they are not. Snowmobiles aren't legal in any city in North America, and are only permitted outside of city limits, or in certain areas such as tracks or whatever in the city. Tanks usually aren't permitted in the city unless you acquire a permit from the city, or for extenuating circumstances such as a need to defend the city in time of war, or parades. but otherwise, its legit. He can drive his tank on the road all damn day as long as he doesn't run anyone, or anything over, just needs a permit, or authorization from a person of authority within the government hierarchy. Example: A Major General can give authorization, but they need permission from a 5 star general, or a secretary of state/defense. Or, a Senator can give authorization, and in the case that the tank is decommissioned, then a mayor can give authorization, which is why anyone can buy a decommissioned tank if they can afford it. I own one.
@@CombatJJ Yeah. A Leopard 1A5 Battle Tank. Has a decommissioned gun. Theres no federal restrictions to owning one if it has a decommissioned gun. Plus what I said in my original comment.
I miss hearing BlackHallows voice.. it would of been nice to see him in some of the FivePD episodes, it would be awesome if we saw him in some RedPd (RDR2).. I think he's pretty funny and would add to the already funny shenanigans
Should have started with blowing up everything insight but still love the video and I swear once you said last name of the colonel was Sanders I just started laughing
Some_Random_Dude16 most are $50,000-$200,000 but need the guns disabled unless you have a destructive device permit and too go onto paved streets you need too replace the steel tracks with rubber ones but you don’t need too if you use it off road or on private properties
Well bugs was playing a military guy there which made that tank military. odds are in todays time if a cop tried pulling over a military tank they'd be looking right down the barrel of that .50 cal mounted on the roof and ordered to the ground. they wouldn't be treated as police and more as a threat of someone attempting to steal the tank . Course in real life the military also tells the police a tank will be moving on the road before it happens so a situation like what happened in this video would probably not ever happen with real police officer's
In the us your actually allowed to drive a tank on the roadways, though it has to be modified to be able to commute on asphalt and the guns can't be able to fire
@@dreamsteal4773 the only time a tank is usually on a public roadway is a Parade or in a case of a national emergency where National Guard is called in to take action and a tank is called
As a Civilian you can legally own a tank and drive it on the road as long as the tank doesn't have small arms munitions, the firing pin in the main cannon has been removed & has rubber tank treads. I tank must follow the same road laws as semi truck or large hauling vehicles.
Everyone is rewatching content they enjoyed because all the good content is being watched so fast. Theres nothing else to do, so watch the new content then the old content
Tanks can be driven on the road as long as they have been made street legal. So if you put rubber on the treads and do something about a rear view. You can drive a tank on the road.
If memory serves me correct I’m pretty sure, at least in America you’re allowed to drive a tank on public roads as long as treads are rubber and turret is deactivated
you should take the tractor again and have the engine multiplier set to the highest but keep it on the lowest till you get pulled over then do the mod and say before you run try to catch me if you can
Its legal to drive a tank on the street in belgium, it has to be registered, insured and your destination has to be within 5, possibly 10 miles of your house/ storage location
Thibault Rommel thats true, they got rid of all the tanks a couple of years ago. I actually am in training now to work on the jeeps and trucks, if they didnt get rid of the tanks I would be trained for that as well I think
there's an under water easter egg... A Russian Delta class ballistic missile submarine. BUGGS! bro! you guys should come up with a mission to steel the nukes and sell them and see if the cops can stop you!!!!!
It's perfectly legal to drive a tank on a public road, as long as it has rubber track, the gun is disabled, lights, visible license plate in some way...that one has rubber track and he could say it has rubber tracks (edit) and disabled gun
Shouldve done a bit more with the tank, like accidentally shot it at the mountain to the side and said you’re not familiar with the all the buttons yet and that turning off the engine is similar to firing or something 😂
if this were on my roadways I wouldn't be surprised because tanks and military vehicles ALWAYS drive on there, no semi-trucks, no police escort they would just drive on the road.
Yup in RL they can drive on roadways and police would be notified of the route ahead of time, so they don't try doing stupid stuff like this. if a civilian cop tried jumping into a tank like they did here there would be one less cop out on patrol in that dept.
Where I live driving a tank is legal as long as all the dangerous stuff like the the turret is disabled and the machine gun is taken out. And, no, you don’t need mirrors in it. That’s at least where I live.
Fun fact: a tank would actually be allowed on the road IF it isn’t damaging to said road. Tanks in the united states fall under the classification of recreational vehicles, meaning they’re treated the same as a tractor. tires aren’t necessary, they also came a good time after cars. What if it was, for example, a model T?
Its cool. I mean, it could take a chunk off the edge of the road. But the difference between rubberized tread and no tread is huge. I don't think any modern tracked vic runs without. Nothing in Americas fleet for sure. Generally though, the worse thing that happens in black tread marks are left behind, especially when turning.
The best ending would be if a fighter jet landed on the highway, and Colonel Sanders got out and was like "I told you to fuel this up an hour ago soldier!"
Great video as always and if you would like an idea or suggestion for the Next DOJ criminal you guys should do something in the desert as some (Naval special warfare guys) like a small reconnaissance team. doing training maneuvers or something of that nature and if the cops contact you play it off like it's classified and that the cops being there is a compromise to the training exercise and that you might have to (eliminate the compromise) if you know what I mean. I always thought that would be a cool idea every time I see a military themed video plus I want to see what the cops do because who really wants to fuck with seals
It's perfectly legal to drive a tank on public roads in the U.S. so long as they have rubber tracks, a decommissioned gun, and they drive on roads with no weight limits.
And based on the skid marks that the tank made when pulling into that parking lot, and Joshua Rd. has a lot of trucking activity, then 2/3 of those requirements are met.
Dat Boi Avery actually they need a L license plate and have an H license or be accompanied by someone with and H license. Look it up, has nothing to do with weight or rubber tracks.
