@@VishnooChandra The developers who made GTA SA saw the story as Hollywood. In real life, Salvatore would've sent Toni Cipriani and the others to murder CJ since Rockstar writers made CJ like he's an immortal character which is not true.

The diamonds were stolen from Bulgarin by the Cook who dealt them to Luis, Evan, and Tony but Johnny ambushed the deal, killing Evan on the Broker-Algonquin Highway and dumping the diamonds in the trash on Boccino’s orders. And Niko, after killing Kenny Petrovic and saving Roman from him and the Russki Mafija, picked up the ice with Luca and his crew and put it in Boccino’s locker. But Luca took the diamonds for themselves (Luca and his crew), and Niko killed the crew and after that, he kidnapped Gracie Ancelotti to weaken Giovanni’s wrath. Niko, along with Johnny, dealt the Diamonds to the Israeli mob, but Luis ambushed the group, killing Mori and stealing the Diamonds from Isaac Roth while Johnny ran off with the money and gave the money to Jim. Then Boccino tortures Jim and Johnny and Jim escape not telling him about the money, then Jim was killed by Niko on Boccino’s orders. After that, Niko gets rid of Isaac Roth for wanting to kill Boccino. Luis and Tony watch over Packie’s car with Gracie inside. Bulgarin then betrays Luis for Luis unknowingly stealing his Diamonds whom Luis didn’t know were originally owned by Bulgarin. Niko and Packie did a deal with Luis and Tony, handing Gracie for the diamonds but Bulgarin and the Russians ambushed them, and losing the diamonds, and after that, Niko kills the rest of the Ancelottis except Giovanni, rendering them useless and Giovanni wants the head of anyone involved with the Diamonds and Rocco and Vince planned Luis to kill Tony but Luis killed Vince instead and Rocco fled LC, then Niko killed Dimitri Rascalov as in order to get revenge on him whether in Happiness Island, without Roman, or on the Platypus, with Roman (not in the Platypus but still alive), which eventually and indirectly saved Luis’s life from Bulgarin focusing on killing Luis to the heroin which eventually was destroyed by Luis and Bulgarin was finally killed Mid-air, while Niko killed Pegorino, and eventually, Jerry Kapowitz got the diamonds, which he found in the trash, while Luis, Yusuf, and Tony were talking about the clubs and eventually moved to Vice City to start a gun and liquor store. Edit: turns out Kenny Petrovic is not the person Niko kills in hostile negotiation. He arrived back in Liberty City AFTER Departure Time.

Hence he kind of depended on dimitri at times (though i wouldn’t put it pass him in stabbing ray in the back if the opportunity presented itself.). Seems like ray struggled 2 b the big menace the moment he & dimitri ran away like scared cowards after niko massacred their men after their attempt to betray him.

I feel Bulgarin would have the bigger advantage in Europe while in America Petrovic would have the bigger advantage.

I think Ray didn't really bother Niko much because he knew Niko didn't actually steal from him but Ray still enjoyed messing with Niko. Ray disliked Niko but Dimitri hated Niko.

@@TripleR250 Nah, Bulgarin just couldn't keep track of Niko as good since he didn't have as many connections in Liberty City. Dimitri was already established there.

Well, it's rockstar fault for the bad development of the character in this dlc. And that's why not even the players take him seriously. When we saw him the first time in original story mode of GTA 4, he had the impression to be THE bad guy, a villain to be really hated, and it ended up disappointing us.

Him being obsessed with owning a team, the rock memorabilia at his home, his sister roasting him etc. A dangerous man no doubt, but also an insecure one - they portrayed him like that on purpose.

In GTA IV, he just came off as a powerful daunting serious guy, like Faustin and the unseen mob heads like Gracie's dad or Kenny Petrovic or whatnot. TBoGT shows that Bulgarin is more on the insane side, which imo makes him far more terrifying. He has all this power despite being the way he is *and* he can flip like a switch at any minute
