Wow you uploaded these fast! No wonder you said as fast as possible. I played through like 3 levels on Vectorman and then BAM! 8 videos as soon as I came back to my computer! Lol
For some reason my model turns into a very low poly version of the model I chose and the textures won't apply. I don't know what I did wrong please help.
When you import the model into 3ds max, you should see a "high", "med" and "low" versions of the model for each of the body parts. You having all these versions, might cause the game to render only the low quality model. You can remove the "med" and "low" versions, since those aren't needed for the model to work. Here's a photo of everything I have when I'm ready to export a model: ibb.co/D52d0tm
@@DefaultUser12 Also now I'm having another problem where instead of the character actually moving, the model just A poses despite the bones being perfectly rigged in 3ds max.
I can't really tell you why it's A-posing. The only reason I can think of is that the models bones are not attached to the bones in the correct body part. You know, all the body parts have their own bones. This is why you see all the body parts have their own skeleton. For example if you look at "lowr" it has a similar skeleton as "uppr". You just need to make sure all the models use the skeleton from their respective hierarchy. If you take a look at that picture I sent you, you'll see the hierarchy of the bones from body part "lowr". All other body parts have their own hierarchy that is basically the sam, but control a different part of the body. Also I don't know if the model necessarily has to be a mesh when you export it. I just make it a mesh, since that's how it comes in when it's imported.
I don't know. I haven't used zmodeller3, but from what I've seen it does have better support for modding GTA characters natively. It has the capability to create simulated clothing for the peds, so I assume editing YFTs could also be done.
