Once it was revealed that Sanchez was a traitor, Steve instantly stopped paying attention to Michael because he knows Sanchez could do just as much or more damage than Michael could. Plus who knows how much he’s already revealed
He's also to him an inside traitor, someone whom he trusted, which in the criminal world is worse than an external betraying you or non-criminal security agents.
@@ErminDedicNT oh yeah that's definitely a GTA trope. There was also Bryan Forbes in GTA VCS ( supposedly double agent cop pretends to want to be out of the game from FIB but keeps screwing the Vance brothers over). All these 3 characters have one thing in common, they got capped for snitching.
Most realistic part about gta is govermental agencies being at each other's throats and utilizing assitance of the most questionable of individuals in exchange for crime cover ups.
The UL Paper was part of the IAA. It was 4 groups made up of 3 agencies: The FIB The FIB’s corrupt division (with Sanchez) IAA (with ULP) Merryweather (for fuck knows why)
They might as well add the regular cops, prison cops, traffic cops, rural cops, SWAT, and even the Army (like, Army dudes), Air Force (a fighter jet patrolling the entire area) and Navy (that one submarine),and of course they're also going to fight each other too in this scene.
"Ah, see? Davey, that's why we're such great friends, huh? Cause we're old school, we like old fashion things. Newspapers, celluloid, good guys, bad guys."
"Well I don't know. You tell me. We did what you said, right? Got those people off your back. Now you're gonna do what you said and cut me loose. Right?"
@@dude7813yeah after kidnaping a guy from the basically CIA, torturing the SAME guy, killing a bunch of people,a heist with military casualties, bombing the FBI tower and EVERYONE is corrupt. Edit: don't forget stealing a superweapon from CIA (which was about to get USED in a plot to gain funds) ,and practically robing every single merriweather comboy in the county.
Now people always associate the online part of the game when they hear GTA V but man when this came out every guy between 13 and 45 were dying for this story and single player
@@Jareb_Delgado Uh-huh. And now you want me to clean up your mess again, right? Before i end up at the bottom of the ocean, f*cking good luck with that.
This isn't even the first time this joke was done in a gta game. I remember the hit game, GTA: Chinatown Wars, for the Nintendo DS having a very similar scene.
This is a funnier Mexican standoff since Anchorman and Anchorman 2. And just like both movies, the standoff quickly descends into chaos within seconds 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
0:27 the zoom in to Michael's face its like everything he's done up until this point was for nothing and was about to get busted most of these facial animations are still great
@@kidz4p509 Yeah, first time that happens: Steve shoots himself in the leg on purpose, or technically, something tells me by mistake And second time: This was one he was NOT expecting 😂😂😂😂😂
0:04 Michael: "See, maybe that's why we're such great friends. We're old school, we like old-fashioned things. Newspaper, celluloid, good guys, bad guys." Davey: "We're friends?" Michael: "Why I don't know, you tell me." favorite moment in this entire cutscene for no reason. 😂
“You tell me. You’re the one hitting their planes, trains and boats…Well you earning your dime has put us on their radar. And i dunno how we’re gonna get off it”
Probably because they were running for cover too since Merryweather showed up with a bloody chopper. And also if the player got a chance of being one tapped before they get to cover it would ruin the game.
Not on a whim. I realized later that if Agent Sanchez survived, then Steve and everyone else would go to prison. He would testify against them. Agent Sanchez’ mistake was revealing himself and it cost him his life.
Correct. Agent Sanchez was a boot licker and always was a pencil pushing coward and he likely ratted all them out to the feds and was waiting to pull the trigger and bring the entire agency down and be the hero - his mistake was saying the quiet part out loud. @@Omar-rb9xc
@@heyhocodyo97 For me it's a renaissance, just now I'm realising how well written this game is. Like, this looks ridiculous but it fits so damn good, and makes sense too.
