Thank you for actually providing an ACTUAL Analysis video, and not those click bait videos people do that don't actually SHOW any of the 'leaks' they talk about.
Just some thoughts and clarifications/follow-ups since the leaks last September: The reason we heard so much about the 1970/80's Project Americas in the GTA 6 rumors for years now was because, at one point, GTA 6 was going to be set in the late 70's and early 80's and be based around the drug cartels that operated in Miami and South America at the time. The Netflix show Narcos was going to be a near direct inspiration for the story of the game. It was _always_ intended to be partially set in Vice City, but there were also plans (not sure if the maps were made or not) of a South American and Caribbean settings as well. I don't know how true the rumors of 3 playable characters again was, but considering we know we're gonna be playing as 2 characters in GTA 6 we're gonna get, this sounds like something Rockstar would do. And speaking of the GTA 6 we're gonna get... The reason why we know now that GTA 6 will be set in modern day Vice City is because around 2019, when Dan Houser left, they rebooted the game. At that point they already had most of if not all of the main Vice City map completed, and that's when they realized that the idea they had of 3 playable characters and 3 (basically, if you count the Caribbean as one) *continents* worth of map to explore was way too ambitious for the project at hand, and so they had to scale back the game drastically. They then decided to scrap all of South American and possibly the Caribbean as well, and make the game centered around just Vice City. As I mentioned before, by the point of the reboot they already had most of the main Vice City map finished, so all they did was finish it, modernize it with infrastructure and technology and etc., and just make that map action-packed akin to RDR2 where there's a side activity of some sort in every corner. As far as I know, the original GTA 6 announcement was intended to be in Spring of 2020, and aiming for a mid 2022 release date. But because of the reboot, the entire game was pushed back YEARS. That's why it's suspected to release in late 2024 or even early 2025 now, that's how far behind schedule they are on the game. And that's also why we're seeing the smaller leaks in recent years, because disgruntled employees are so fed up with how long the game is taking to make that they just want to get it out there already and be done with it, so they're leaking tid bits every now and then, minus the big leaks from September which were an actual hacker and not an employee. I hope this wall of letters adds more context for anybody curious. Also yes, the reboot is why famous industry insiders like Tez2 and Jason Schreier had conflicting reports on the status and story of GTA 6 from 2019 to 2021. They were both technically correct on what they reported, because they basically started making a whole new game in that time period.
I see Project Americas being the probable leak for GTA VI (With the Scouting one being definitive) -The Narcos inspired Storyline of drug smuggling goes perfectly with Vice City -Traveling from South America with the drugs to Vice and back -The possible idea of going through different eras of the drug trade not only from the 70s and 80s. But possibly the modern day... If it is true (Which seems likely), then I find it interesting that we went from a Scarface inspired plot from Vice City (2002) to one inspired by Narcos, Pablo Escobar, and perhaps the Cocaine Cowboys...

Glad to see you didn't do your due diligence to include the clips that were ACTUAL proveable leaks which were posted on 4chan's vboard and other places, and were confirmed to be such after Rockstar made a public post about them.

1:55 It's worth mentioning that in big studios it's not uncommon to start development on the next game right after or even before the release of the first game. - builds.xml that was leaked with GTA 5 confirms that GTA 5 began some kind of development in 2009, a year after GTA 4's release - Watch_Dogs 2's development also started before Watch_Dogs 1 released. It wasn't anything substantial, mostly a menu concept (we know this from the portfolio of one of the devs), so GTA 6 being in development since 2012 is very likely
But other than that, either get a voice actor for your videos, or try to improve your script reading. Aside from the monotonous tone, sometimes it's hard to make out what you're saying. This is the biggest flaw in the video to me.

I really appreciate this video. So hyped for a vice city done in the hd universe with potential drug cartels being the center of the plot. I just hope it’s actually in vice city and done correctly story wise. Well done video man & thank you for hyping the game up properly unlike these other RU-vidrs with rumors swinging left and right claiming it’s “real news”.
This is a great video! I really appreciate the overall tone and levelheaded analysis you have provided for the existing GTA VI leaks. I have one small technical criticism. It sounds like the voice-over volume levels were much lower than that of the music used to transition between chapters. I would highly recommend using the amplify and normalize effects in audacity which could help bring the volume of your voice-over recordings into a more even range. In your video editing software you should try to have the audio levels for all tracks be as close to 0 db as possible without clipping.

One interesting thing about the insider gaming leak. Is that rooster teeth owns insider gaming, and another team achievement hunter. Two members from achievement hunter are actually in RDR2. Geoff and Jack are side characters. Geoff is one of the individuals you can buy train tickets from, and Jack is a bar tender. So with that connection, it is totally possible that they could have a friend within rockstar that could provide this info. Also because of this, I always wondered if the missing Gavin in RDR2. Is actually referring to Gavin Free. He is easily the most popular member of AH, and might have been invited along side Geoff and Jack. An inside joke of AH is, how busy Gavin is. So maybe he had to miss the day, possibly for Slo Mo guys? Well this is as conspiracy theory as I want to get lol
I've been reading that reddit leak, it's pretty interesting. I feel it's way too specific, plus it makes no sense how they have that much info if they were just brought on board for marketing. They claim that the devs have let them in on a lot, but that just doesn't feel right. Wouldn't the devs be concerned about leaks and being potentially reprimanded?
@@BasementGamerBros I will say, they mention Liberty City being brought back, and while I doubt it's the case, it would be really cool to see it again. Having a proper countryside along with an expanded Alderney, Long Island, and Staten Island being present would be cool. I'm fairly certain Vice City is where the game will primarily take place though, most evidence points to it.
The first """leak""" in that reddit post was made up, it was posted in july 2019, it took a few elements from the insider gaming video made in 2018 to make it credible, also the insider gaming video is actually the very first real leak.
Im not gonna lie I read that story and although I doubt its real that would be an amazing story & setup. Hopefully the game has some of these characteristics tho. Great video btw. Be cool to see you continue as more information comes out.

I hope you get to experience multiple time periods, from 70s to the 2020s. If gta 6 was only set in the 80s then that would exclude alot of potential online content.

Im not entirely sure, but I think there was another interesting gta 6 leak about Miguel Madrazo. The leak came out quite some time before the cayo perico heist was released. The leak was slightly vague, but mentioned this Miguel before he was revealed as a new character. This would mean that the leaker accidentaly leaked the cayo perico heist and mistook it for a gta 6 leak, or he leaked him as a character in gta 6. I could also be wrong and misread something a while back because I couldnt find this old reddit thread when searching.
There’s a part of me that wouldn’t like the game being based in the 1980s. What made gta 5 so good was that it was in the modern times, and you could do modern things, which heavily added with the realism. That also I personally like the terrain of California better than Florida…
Yeah I can agree, I'd rather have Rockstar do another take on modern society and culture, I'd hope we see continuity with vehicles and brands in the next installment too, i know everyone wants Vice City but personally I wanna see a parody of Hawaii, I'm honestly surprised there hasn't been one yet for GTA
GTA6 could actually take place in 3 new locations. New Orleans, Houston, and I forgot the other one. I got this information from an Ex-Employee from Rockstar. I met him in GTA Online lobby. I researched him and hes completely legit. He started leaking a bunch of information. GTA6 Character creation. You can actually put your face in the game! Just Like in 2K. Everyone in the lobby was impressed and surprised. It's possible it can be in Vice City but I believe it'll be in Texas and Louisiana.
2 things: 1) I can't believe it took me 2 weeks to realise you made this 2) L.A Noire doesn't use RAGE because Rockstar was the publisher not the developer

I see no problem with a hardened women as a GTA Protagonist. Like the leaker said, a well trained cop, or a criminal who's done time and proven she's got what it takes in this underworld.
10:37, its obvious they share the same engine, so its a possiblity that they were shared/intertwined with each others build at the time of developement or they were testing certain stats within rdr2. this is the same truth as mafia 3 was testing a new map called "berlin" but, it was for a cancelled ip called "rhapsody" set in the cold war, same cause for rockstars "agent" .
As you can hear, I'm not from the US. I just thought about where they were situated on the map in the moment. Which states make up the Southwest anyway? That would be good to know.

I never told anyone or any youtuber this but the release date has always been in the country since gta 5's release as an address saying 2024. Its at the rv dealer across the street from the shop. I knew since the game's release when I put two and two together adding up the dates from the airport dates showing gtao's release dates for each gens console release. Plus adding up the timeline dates near the golf course at the building with the wheel chair ramp. Also, you're missing the old yacht leak that gotten leaked some years back that most tubers think is a brand new leak. I've seen all of the leaks in general that gotten deleted really early and gotten brought back through the past years so far

I came to this video thinking great just another stereotypical leak video that will be the same as the rest and I'm pleasantly surprised its not. It's a well presented video and would be nice to get another later with more leaks arise.
The island map "leak" (15:45) was so obviously fake. The island looks extremely boring and it just has a big random island right next to it without any infrastructure or purpose. It doesnt feel high quality like something rockstar would produce.

Bud, great work, but please listen to your video before you release it. I have to keep on adjusting the volume: the jingles are too loud and your voice and the content is extremely quite in comparison. Please use the same volume level base as the way this video is made 1 is very difficult to follow, 2 it's annoying.
Jason schreier's reply to tez2? Shi was speculation, not confirmed to be fake even if a "gaming journalist" or a "GTA insider/data miner" was there. We don't know shit about the development, maybe it shifted or changed. Shi it's still called "Project Americas"
Hmm, interesting. I hope the story with the one protagonist who goes to jail is true. I only play these games for the single player and I would be happy to get another Rockstar game with a good story. The leak with the three protagonists (Ricardo, Kacey, Rose) has the most info about the story but the story shown so far seems… mehhh.
this game better not take place in the 80s. it's not gonna be as good as gta 5. and why would it take place in that time period when Vice city already happened in that Time period. it doesn't make sense and I hope it's absolutely Fake.
