I just worry online will be a monetized hellscape, griefing will be even worse, their solutions to any online issues will be based around monetization, and that the main game will be even more stripped down than V was
i do think theyll take into coount the RDO side of things, in RDO there was griefing but it was managable, everyone had to think of what to use for pve and pvp situations. and generally the vibe of rdo was better. so just imaging gta online would have a limited inventory and more realistic gunplay it would be better off a good trade off in a way. plus the map being fairly diverse with two major cities would make the players in the servers more sparse instead of everyone being in the same area like in los santos.
That's my main worry, I certainly don't have a problem with Online being a focus but the last thing I want is for the single player experience to suffer as a result of Rockstar focusing too much on Online.
@@honeyjigabooboo Even though I told myself that I would never buy shark cards, I did spend a few bucks on them. I don't care. I would blow so much money on drugs and booze in my younger days, it doesn't matter. But, my goals have been reached. So, no more. Didn't buy any wacky weapon crap. Just upgraded all of my businesses in full.
I'm not there yet. I refuse to get over hyped or excited for GTA 6. I want it to take all the time it needs and I hope it comes out just as good as GTA 5. All I know is that if GTA 6 does to me what Dying Light 2 and Starfield did to me, I'll be done gaming for a while.
That big budget they got going for it most likely went into AI research and development. If GTA 6 doesn't have a dynamic functional AI system then in a few years it will become outdated. The industry been going that direction
fun fact: a developer tweeted saying Jason and Lucia’s name when the trailer released. I commented on the post saying so his name is Jason? She later deleted the tweet saying something like not trying to be in any youtube videos or on the front page Wish I screenshotted
Having a female protagonist doesn't equal woke but that's not the only way game can go woke. We'll just have to wait and see if the political message is embedded into the game or not. Them making parody of "woke" would be hilarious but my fear is that they implement it as propaganda like pretty much all Western AAA developers these days.
While I am 1000% looking forward to GTA 6, I'm keeping my expectations low and, as someone who has never bothered with GTA Online, I just hope that the single player story is as good as I know it can be and that the world and map is as fun as Los Santos was when I first played GTA V.
I'm going to wait for a while once it comes out. Maybe even a year. I didn't even own a ps5 until this past Easter. When GTA 5 came out, I was more concerned with putting on small concerts and I still had my ps2 in those days. So, waiting until any kinks, bugs, or fooferalls are ironed out makes more sense to me.
As much as I'm excited for GTA VI on both PS5 & Xbox Series X, It would have been nice if PC was in the same conversation in regards to the late 2025 release
I have no doubt that GTA VI will move the bar when it comes to the technology. GTA series were always pushing technology forward. They are a bit of like pioneers in that department. However, i am afraid that now without Hauser and Benzies the story will suck major ass. Probably filled with bad jokes, bad cliche puns, you know... classic sitcom humor. Shame, because i was always buying GTAs for the story experience.
Apparently the story will be about lucia who is the criminal and her boyfriend jason..who is the bad cop. Good guy who loves the bad latina. And I hope it isn't! I hope this isn't the case!
I think the game is about Lucia, who is a criminal on the run. And her boyfriend is trying to cover up for her. The trailer kinda hints off to that and from what fans have been able to piece together...leads there BUT we will see...
The song used for the trailer hints to it also. With it being about some dude who is whipped by a female. I'm not saying it's factual but it hints there.
Personally, I'm gonna try to go into GTA6 with no expectations, I'd want it to be up there with my favs (SA, 5, 4, and VCS), but if I go into expecting it to blow them out of the water then I'll prob end up disappointed, and I don't want to assume it'll be terrible cus negativity is lame I just hope it has a heavy focus on the singleplayer (never liked Online) and gameplay, I like good stories too but GTA has always been about the gameplay for me I hope that if GTA6 has more LGBT characters they won't be harmful stereotypes while people pretend it's progressive, as much as I like Gay Tony and similar characters I kinda blame them for the modern portrayal of LGBT in media (a lot of LGBT characters I've seen in modern media are still portrayed as super 'girly' men and even hypersexual sometimes which is my least favorite portrayal), but those characters can kinda get away with it since I think they're lampshading those stereotypes (possibly cope on my part tho) and are still actual characters outside of those things, imo bad representation is worse than no representation, it more often than not feels like it was written by a bunch of straight business men who don't know what LGBT people are like irl and their only frame of reference is those old stereotypes from the 2000s All of that being said, I do realize that GTA characters are rarely good people (which makes sense and isn't something I'd ever want changed) so regardless you prob wouldn't regard them as good representation anyway, but what I mean by 'good' vs 'bad' representation is: good = well written character, bad = poorly written character that reinforces negative stereotypes, not necessarily a morally righteous character Ig I'm just lamenting something I've noticed in modern media, I've never seen anyone else mention it so maybe I'm seeing stuff that isn't there, but none the less it's more of an annoyance than anything and won't ruin the game
Honestly, I'm much more worried about Project 2025 becoming a reality than something off color in GTA 6. The former scares the hell out of me. The latter makes me roll my eyes and nothing more.

Gta6 is going to bring out the worst in content creators. People are hyping up gta6 and never cared for gta. Rockstar doesn't even have to promote gta6. These youtubers are going to do it for them..and in the worst way possible... meaning gta6 is going to a cash cow for political debates.

Oh it will. You can bet on it. The game is going to expose how unhinged the world has become and it's going to be a liability for gta6 to be the most politically talked about gta game in history.
Meaning if you don't care for politics, gta6 won't be for you. The 1st trailer is showing you what Rockstar is trying to do. Sir up the pot , while making bank. They always have BUT not to this degree. Everything you dislike about society will be in GTA6. And I'm not sure if that's a good thing.
The twerking, the BBLS, social media, the bad law system and our need to always be "lit" will be in gta6. And it might turn off some people who are already tired of how the world is right now.
