One of the best soundtracks in any video game , another one of my favourites is Vice City Stories soundtrack & i’m surprise they never made a box set for that Grand Theft Auto .. Such a shame , but at least we got this gem

Agree. It seems that both Vice City Stories and Liberty City Stories were made only for a footprint on the PSP area, and not really got any other reference from Rockstar Games. Those titles didn't even seen a light on mobile.

I remember seeing these cd sets at the Virgin store at my local mall. I never got one, until a couple months ago, I found one sealed for $90 on eBay. Now I’m jamming to these in my car.

This is really, really a beautiful collector's edition. Wish it included also VC Stories ones or even a separate edition for that episode.

Yes, no doubt about that. I agree that it could be nice to have something similar for VCS. Maybe R* will surprise us, and if not, it can be a good episode for my concept videos series 🙂

It's funny how when I first played GTA Vice City, I didn't think of the music that much. I was listening to KChat which was funny and sometimes VCPR. When I played it on Xbox and on my phone, I'm starting to get used to the music, the first being Fever 105 and Flash FM. The commercials were entertaining as well and listening to the stations and in the cd makes me wondering, what if I was a kid in the 1980s.

If you was a kid in the 80's you probably would appreciated it more 😉 I learned to appreciate 80's music thanks for Vice City. The songs, that was already great, connected immediately with the fun experience of GTA. Even this days, when I hear Billie Jean or Out Of Touch, I get a nostalgic feeling to this game 😊

Thank you for sharing, mate. I didn’t know that this boxset existed until last night. I managed to pick up the complete boxset for only $10! I drove a couple of cities over after 10 pm since I couldn’t pass up on the deal. I can’t believe how much they go for now.

I just bought the Radio Espantoso CD, & my plan for later is to take it to Mexico so my dad can put this in his truck & we can listen to music while we’re driving around there, but for now I have it in my car & Idk why I’m so amazed by it

Playing GTA Vice City as a kid did not make me violent or a criminal. It made me appreciate classic pop music from the 70s and 80s and formed my taste in music forever

I got the box set the other day at a yard sale it had all the jewel cases with all the booklets but unfortunately 3 out of the 7 discs are missing

You can find those discs easily on eBay. The packaging is more hard to find and you already got it :)

i just noticed that Flash FM was incorrect, There's no Toto, Boys don't cry, or Glenn Frey, Also noticed joe Jackson is missing! On the plus side its got running with the night on there, Was there a version of vice city which had this lineup?

Yes, it's true. From the PS2 original version the soundtrack went through some changes. I actually do listen to it from time to time, so I got used to it I guess 😅

I tried to look in Amazon for available pieces of it, but no luck. Maybe in eBay you will find so listings of it (don't sure about the condition though)
