GTA Vice City vs GTA Vice City Stories | Side by Side Comparison 

Looking at GTA Vice City Stories Brings me that nostalgic Feeling back, playing this game when i was 9 yrs old

Back when I played VCS on my silver PSP and I didn't know that GTA Vice City even existed... Everybody was saying "hey I have the same game but my character is white and has blue shirt" and I was like wtf

Vice City Stories and Chinatown Wars are criminally underrated GTA games. It's such a shame Rockstar never re-released VCS to mobile/other consoles; I'm sure it would be wildly popular

You can tell Vince was trained in combat tactics quite opposed to the street brawler Tommy. His move set is efficient and detailed.

Vice city stories is much better except the story the gameplay is awesome you can take over enemy buildings just like you could take over territories in gta sa, you can swim,the fighting is the best,you can run with a rifle or a shotgun,the helicopters are way easier to find and much much more.

It's fun to see both games are in the same city but i can confirm that vice city stories is way better

GTA Liberty City Stories was between the mixture of GTA 3 and Vice City and GTA Vice City Stories was between the mixture of GTA Vice City and San Andreas and if Rockstar makes GTA San Andreas Stories it would be between the mixture of GTA San Andreas and GTA 4.

While vice city had more popular and bigger missions and was more memorable, I think vice city stories brought some cool new mechanics to the table and despite vice city having better graphical quality and not being as blurry, i think vcs used nicer textures that were more vibrant, especially in the mainland part of town. I think VCS captured the miami vibe much better, especially with the pedestrians too

Personally I gotta say that I enjoy GTA Vice City Stories better than the Original GTA Vice City, for one thing I got to see more of my favorite GTA Character the late great Lance Vance and also I really liked seeing Vic Vance's origin story and getting to learn more about the history of Vice City and seeing it's lore expounded upon, such as finding out that the boarded up derelict house at the center of Prawn Island in the Original GTA Vice City originally belonged to the Mendez Brothers, it just adds alot more weight when you know what happened there

Looking back at vice city stories its criminally underrated it didn't feel like vice city because of the references like maimi vice or scarface but it had its own version of the 1980s also I remember it was the only gta game where you can grab people and throw them on the ground

Gta VCS was the most advanced and had more stuff to do then any other 3d gta game

Vice City Stories is far more superior, also draws out the setting of Miami more than GTA vice city. GTA vice city doesn't make the character feel like a boss, I feel more like Claude owning property more so than managing his empire

I had played VCS on PSP for 5 years since primary school in China. I think I am more familiar with streets in VCS than those real ones around my house. Childhood memories for real. Back to the story, I think Vic is tragic figure who lost her beloved woman (I remember her name is Louise) and had a troublemaker brother. He didn’t want to be gang boss, but actually you don’t any choice in Vice City.

Tommy is better than Vic in some things and Vic is better than Tommy in some other way. Both protagonists are competitive. I like that.

Vice city stories storyline is more fascinating

Vick runs like CJ. The overall graphics are San Andreas engine. While the map is Vice city. But its really weird they haven't made a pc port for this game since its a prequel and is technically an upgrade to Vice city. And they released it for ios and android. Makes zero sense.

I’m so glad I own both games now. I bought a psp just to replay VCS.

VCS disappoint me. It was made after GTA SA, but it doesn't re-use that much cool mechanics of SA like parkour. The graphics are worse than VC from my POV, and only added vehicles are fun, like BMX and quadbike.

I play all 3D GTA and for some reason, after playing the original VC I cannot find the other VC so attractive. Probably because VCS has more weather conditions and it's not the same type of colours everytime. VCS has the weather colour of San Andreas which makes me feel that the original VC was better in terms of Weather

The gameplay was Vice City-esque, but the missions were really cool and weird like San Andreas. Probably one of the most underrated GTA games is GTA: Vice City Stories

Its impossible to say that there isn’t some nostalgic bias of mine, but gta vice city stories’ colors create a much better vibe in my opinion. Thats part of why i have such a strong love for the game to this day

The graphics of VCS is bad in psp. But if it release on android, the graphics will be much better. Because GTA LCS graphics looks weird in psp. But in mobile devices it looks better. So gta vcs might be better in mobile platform.

Vice city stories on the PSP was the stuff for me back at school

I played both vice City and Vice City Stories, but according to me, Vice City looks dull as compared to vice City Stories game, i personally feels that, according to Graphics also Vice City Stories is more colourful and enjoyable to Play

The difference just is gta VC was launched in 2002 and VCS in 2006. So graphics quality in VCS is better.

This is a GTA mod request I'm about to ask for. What if you take the entire maps of Vice City from both 1984 and 1986 and fuse them both together into a unified Vice City map to use as a mod for both GTA: Vice City Stories and GTA: Vice City respectively? I would like the sound and sight of that.

Vice City has better graphics because it was first programmed for ps2 and VCS for the PSP. If VCS was released for PS2 first, it would have better graphics than VC or even SA. SA have the best graphics of the 3D era (PS2 GTA games)

2:21 hey, there are quads in vice city; though its not a quad, but it looks quite similar to a quad and the sound it makes is also same. I am talking about the car without doors, 4 rear lights, no roof, and which makes sound like a quad.

What I love about GTA vcs stories is the ai ,when u are fighting a person without a reason, some pedestrians help the person that u are attacking the pedestrians will fight u and when they saw you punching the air they get scared and run away
