@@TheRealfan1 they also have better receivers. Or at least more than 1. The Eagles had a better O line and RBs. The thing is if those teams can afford top tier rosters Dallas can too. If they wanted too and after 30 years obviously winning a title is not a priority for Jerry and Stephen.
@@darkvampire4ever Dak has had great receivers like in 2021: Cooper, Lamb, Gallup, Zeke, pollard, and Schultz. And Dak blew it by sliding too late to get one more play.
@@TheRealfan1 you're absolutely right. The truth is it never should have come down to that one play or one series. Amari and CeeDee are good but they're not top tier receivers. By that I mean like Justin Jefferson or Cooper Kupp. Guys that get close to 2000 yards receiving. Kellen Moore was inadequate as an OC when it came to beating top defenses consistently. There were holes in the defense as well. Like not being able to stop the run. The only solid CB we have is Diggs. It's about the schemes and having the personnel to run those schemes on a weekly basis. For example take Matthew Stafford. He was in the same boat as Dak, he got traded to the Rams, and won the SB that same year. Hopefully they acquire some more talent this year but Idk.
Jerry isn't wrong. When a QB (especially only a slightly above average one) gets paid, it's harder to sign other players, and teams are usually worse too. They have to bargain basement shop because of Dak's contract. QBs you mentioned are significantly better than Dak.
🤣🤣🤣 who's fault is it that he got paid? No one never seems to mention that ,is he worth $40 million no he's not the GM/owner/media/part-time coach/cheerleader is the reason why he was paid $40 million when they could've signed him when he was still under his rookie contract, and don't forget he was franchise tag, two years in a row but they chose to let it ride. They gambled, and they lost.
