This trip, I took my 2011 VW GTI to the mountains. I put a roof top tent on and some roof bars to support it. everything held up like it was suppose to be there. it was a very cold trip but I came prepared with a heated blanket and heavy coats. the food was delicious and the tent was comfortable. I also definitely enjoyed driving my car on the mountain road.
