It occurs to me the 'low' area toward the start right by the road, 'back in the day', gee very little traffic, nice RofW loaded with great FREE gravel. Nudge, nudge. On the left side, especially 3/4 way along, the top of RofW is pretty good elevation, so not so much of a ditch as the height of an embankment. Re: the width. Do you think it might have been made to take a second track for a siding? Is there an obvious area where it just sort of widens for no good reason, or is it this wide back to Alba?

I think you're right regarding the low spots where material may have been removed by locals. As for the width of the RoW, you'll see more of it in the next episode. I think what happened is that it was widened on purpose to accommodate vehicles, farm machinery, etc.

It looks like there was a water tank between Alba and Baird on one of the maps shown? Any idea where? Really enjoying your vids and this series as well. Learning so much!

It is somewhere between Kline and Oliver Roads. I will be attempting to locate it in the fall if there are any traces. Glad you're enjoying the videos...lots more on the way!

@@padwrr One would think close to the Neebing river as a source/ supply? As for this series… wow! I never knew what’s known as Coopers pit was any part of a railroad/ moose’s nose. Keep up the great work!

Not according to the property lines. Some sections of the line in Thunder Bay and OP were apparently sold off over the years, including to the municipalities. I'll send you a map.

@@bradfordthompson8326 Unfortunately not. All the land that this line was on is now privately owned.
