I have those older versions in my car, and while their usefulness in the city could maybe be questioned, they are absolutely one of the very best lighting upgrades you could make for offroad and (very) rural driving.
They are so bright, we sure do love them! Even in the city where the light output may be drowned out by the city lights, they make your car that much more visible when backing out of a alleyway or a parking spot!
I’ll get these when they twist in place like the factory bulbs instead of using the rubber grommet, I’ve always had bad luck with that style unseating and causing condensation issues 🤷🏻♂️
If you are worried about that socket, check out our video on Di-Electric Grease linked here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jk-gs-7DcTM.html
@@willl84 yea but you could just splice it in... or if you insist on leaving factory stuff you could rig something up. Maybe some of the shrink wrap stuff they use in making battery packs... it might work.
Hello , I need to update the bulbs in 2 vehicles , a 2017 Toyota Camry it has projector type lights , a 2018 Toyota Rav , it also HD as projector type lights , what do you recommend ?
I have the gtr lighting 1000 lumen bulbs in my 08 mega cab. Those lights are extremely bright and have great distance. In fact they match my brake lights in output alone. I might be getting these new ones later one. 😎
They are a fantastic bulb, so crazy that they actually got brighter with these new ones! Let us know when you are ready for a pair of the new bulbs, and we will get them going!👍😃
This is why I never understood about why these car companies don’t put very bright reverse lights on such big vehicles like trucks and long suvs. They give tiny cars better lights out back.
That is a good point to bring up for sure, they do not make trucks with bright enough reverse lights! Let us know if there is anything we can do for you, we are here to help!
Great recommendation, and I will pass that up the chain! I do know that it is a little hard to say if a bulb is specifically compatible with CANBUS, as some vehicles have different CANBUS systems than others. That makes it hard for us to say that they are either CANBUS or not, as we don't want to set a bad expectation for the customer! Thanks for the input!
Hey there, thanks for commenting! Hopefully some day Morimoto will come out with headlights and taillights for that vehicle, if they do down the road we will let you know! Thanks again, and have a great day!
You use dielectric grease to seal the connector in the after-market connector but then leave the OEM connector and plug swinging outside the housing. That connector wasn't originally intended to be outside the housing, why isn't that sealed in some way?
Your vehicle takes a 3156/3157 bulb for that reverse light, and you should totally be able to use the Ultra Series Reverse Bulbs! I have linked the ones you will need here: headlightrevolution.com/gtr-lighting-high-output-1-000-lumen-led-reverse-bulbs-3156/
We totally carry that bulb for the reverse light on that S10! I have linked those for you below, if you have any other questions just let us know! Link: headlightrevolution.com/gtr-lighting-high-output-1-000-lumen-led-reverse-bulbs-3156/
We do have that bulb in the T15/921 size, and will totally work in your truck with that CANBUS system! Product Link: headlightrevolution.com/gtr-lighting-high-output-1-000-lumen-led-reverse-bulbs-t15/
My reverse light housing isn’t perfectly clear, it’s more translucent rather than transparent (2019 f250 halogen)...will this still throw the light far like explained in the video??
It will not matter as much, but I promise you that these lights will still blow you out of the water! They are seriously brighter in a reverse light than most factory halogen headlights🔥🔥
I know these are reverse led lights but is it possible to use them in a halogen fog light application? My SV.4 h11 are way too bright and blind the s**t out of people and I have an SUV so I’m higher up off the ground.
Hey man, thanks for commenting! Sorry to say that those reverse bulbs will not fit in that fog light application most likely, and that is due to them just being for smaller sockets. What you could do is go with a pair of the CMB fog light bulbs from Xenon Depot, they will be a less bright fog light bulb alternative to the V.4 LEDs! I have linked those for you here: headlightrevolution.com/product-types/led-fog-lights/xenon-depot-cmb-led-fog-lights/

Hey there, thanks for commenting! I am wondering if you are talking about a rear brake light, rear turn signal, reverse light, license plate light, or whatever function the bulb does. When you get me that, I will be able to get you some recommendations!
Headlight Revolution I’m looking for the reverse bulbs for the 500L .. They remodeled the car for 2020 and I’ve been wondering what type of LED can I install on it .. Thank you
That reverse light on your vehicle is a 921/T15, and I would totally recommend going with the Ultra series reverse lights! I have linked those for you here: headlightrevolution.com/gtr-lighting-high-output-1-000-lumen-led-reverse-bulbs-t15/ If you have any other quesitons or concerns, shoot us an email and we will get you taken care of! Well crap... I bought the 1000 lumen gtr bulbs and now they make them better. Can i send you mine back and pay the difference for the new gtr reverse bulbs?
Well when the difference is seeing while backing up vs not, it really makes it all that much more worth it! You won't be disappointed with these bulbs🔥💯
We actually do not have that bulb information, but if you could get us that we can totally link you to the correct bulb! Shoot us an email and we will be happy to get you taken care of! Sales@HeadlightRevolution.com
PEOPLE. STOP ASKING IF IT FITS. *IF THE BULB SIZE IS THE SAME, IT FITS YOUR VEHICLE.* y’all flooding this mans comments with the same question over and over bruh lol
And if you want to know the size of this light, click the link. If you want to know the size of the light you have, just google it or walk outside and check for yourself. Even easier, *go to his website and enter your vehicle. It’ll give you a list of products that fit* and what size bulbs you need for different functions.
Wow that's a good way to blind people. Honestly I wish there was a reverse bulb that would light up the ground like a headlight with a cut off. I know that's not practical to make but I think it's better than just shooting light everywhere.
A good point, but the reverse lights beam is determined by the taillight housing, not the bulb. And as far as blinding anyone, while you are backing up, if someone is being blinded that means they are to close for you to back up😂 These are some of the best upgrades other than regular headlights that I have ever done💯
They will help you for sure in the city with all the lights, but you will really be able to see out in the country as there is no other light that is taking away form these reverse lights!🔥
Hey there, we totally have things for your Ridgeline, and I can totally help you with that! If you are looking for reverse lights, you can actually use these new Ultra Series Reverse lights! If you have any other products that you are looking to purchase for that vehicle, shoot us an email and we will get you taken care of! This claim of brightest bulb, is this after continuous use as after heating up alot of Led's lose their lumin output becoming less effective and efficient.
