GTR Ultra Series 2 night drive 

Ya defently find a flat spot and mark the cutoff lines on a wall or garage door. Add the new bulbs and make sure the cutoff lines are the same. Mine were the exact same

@@Spazum888 i have a 2016 Tacoma. I’m using for low beams. If they’re not the same what’s my solution?

@@kylestokley91 you might have to rotate the bulb. Check out headlight revolution video about lining up the headlights.

@@kylestokley91 search in youtube, "how to aim and align you headlights" by the channel Headlight Restoration. It will explain how to do exactly want you need to do.

ya man, Glad i could help. still going strong, had one light go dim on me, but the company sent me a new one within a week. big W in their part.

So I just replaced the bulb. They were halogen bulbs, now they are LED. Everything else is the same from the factory. I even put up painters tape where the old cutoff was, just to make sure it all matched up.

Yup. GTR Ultra Serise 2 for the fogs as well. I added an Amber clear vinyl to them so thats why it shows up different. not ment for reflectors, only projectors. Yes I would highly recommend these.

@@Spazum888 GTR Ultra’s aren’t meant for reflector fog lights but isn’t that what your running correct? They output looks good in this video.

@@jake17522 Correct. I would HIGHLY advise not running any LED bulb in reflector housings. it spreads the light out too much and makes it very difficult for the other drivers in front of you. Im running projectors.

@@Spazum888​​⁠is that custom fog lights? Never seen Tacoma projector fog lights that take a replaceable bulb, I did see and use Morimoto sealed led fog lights.

2017 Toyota Tacoma with oem projector headlights. If you have reflector headlights it will be a different pattern and light output. If you have projectors, make sure you have your bulbs aligned in the proper direction. Just look up on RU-vid "headlight revolution led aim" and it should explain how the bulb LED needs to be facing a specific direction to get the most benefit from the projector.

Hey man. Ive had them for 2 years, and I can only remember one time someone flashing in my direction but I dont think it was for the headlights, maybe they hit their blinker too hard.... but nobody has stopped me and said they are too bright or anything. I have another video that shows I made sure to keep the same cut-off so nobody gets blinded. I do turn them off in drivethrus. Cops dont care. The cool thing is, even in this video, the cars that pass me create a shadow in front of them, even with their own headlights lol

@@Spazum888 what headlight housing/assembly do you have? I have projector housing. Do you think I'm good to put LEDs in a projector housing as long as I aim them 9 and 3??

One of the reasons I got these was because of the Headlight Revolution video they put up. They lived up to my expectations. Range seems good, but Im not an expert and havent measured anything. I enjoyed them enough to get them in my fog lights.

@@Spazum888 damn, another 200 bucks for your fog lights? You went with yellow?

@@GhettoFabulous670 so the fog lights have a Lamin-x amber film cover over them, but with the light blue tint from the led bulbs, it makes the fog light look yellowish.

@@Spazum888 ahh, i see. Thanks! For my fogs, i went with lasfit Ld seriers, so white on dark days, and i can switched to amber on rainy days or when it gets foggy etc

@@Spazum888 He said good brand of *HID* headlights, not LED. He wants to compare a good quality HID to your GTR LED headlights.

@@jgizzy good call on the HID, read LED. I'm not sure of anyone local that has done an HID conversion on their Tacoma. I know in the tacoma community they will swap the OEM projector with upgraded Bi-xenon from the Lexus Rx350. Unfortunately I do not know of anyone locally with that mod done, so I can not compare.

Normal OEM housing, normal OEM projectors, same cutoff as the OEM bulbs. No, I'm not blinding anyone.

GTR Ultra series 2. I have them both in the headlights, liked them so much, I got them for the fogs. Stock housing wtih Lamin-x One 4 inch x 8 inch Universal Film Cover (Color : Amber) over them.

Stock housing, but with GTR LIGHTING bulbs and Lamin-x One 4 inch x 8 inch Universal Film Cover (Color : Amber)

@@Spazum888 is stock housing refelctors? Are your bulbs Yellow ? I like the out put of your fogs its Nice

@@israel6642 yes, stock reflector housing. They are the normal GTR Ultra series bulbs. The housing has a film/sticker/vinyl over them in the amber color.

Nope. No flashing at me. Passed dozens of local PD and have had zero issues. They have the same cutoff, from factory. So its good.

They are aimed perfectly. Before I installed them I put painters tape where the cutoff line was, installed the bulbs, and the beam patters was exactly the same. Same lines, same cutoffs. Don't worry, I'm not blinding anyone.
