A little hint: in the graphics settings, there's something called "Weather particle quality". When you turn it from high to medium, you get a nice boost in FPS.
@@MrHope86 Not entirely. After all it's "medium", not "low". That's why I said that it won't affect visuals that much. Besides, when I play a Spider-Man game, the last thing that comes to my mind is look at the clouds while swinging around.
I bought a 1050 ti in 2017 for 110 dollars. Times are much different now price-wise but still super stoked to see this card can still handle games, even if you have to settle for a consistent 30 fps. I have this card in an old pc of mine with a Q6600 for a "retro-esque" experience.
I've always been playing newer games capped at 30fps with controller. I can't afford anything better than a 1050ti. I'm super grateful and happy with it
I had mine on a Q6600 PAvillion HP with 8 Gb RAM and currently have it on a dual Xeon E5620 HP Z600 with 48Gb RAM and works flawlessly. I'm looking for dual X5675 Xeons to make it scream louder...
I think upscaling tech like fsr2.0 is the future. It's certainly going to mean older cards like this will keep going for a lot longer, and maybe even mean ultra high end stuff will be unjustifiable for the average gamer on a budget.
I recently commented at your other (3060ti) video, but foliage, trees etc, are not the intensive part of this game(they are but not much) , but INDOORS , it's the most intensive, as the NPCs there act differently , different lighting etc, cuts performance almost in half. Try out FEAST mission and then another mission with MJ , you'll see what I mean :)
@@gamerdon6 it's ok given the lighting and the details of this game! GTX 1080 ti (which is the GPU I am using ) does 70-90 very high (1440p) and 47 - 53 at those inddor places ;p it's a significant drop for sure. I would like to see what those tester GPUs can do there 😁
I would recommend locking the fps to 30 on high settings cuz stable frame is better than unstable frame with fsr ultra quality and u will get a ps4 pro like experience.
Not a big difference. The main thing is low power consumption on the low profile and maybe 1 or 2 fps loss I think. But double check benchmarks on the two because I haven't tried it. I own the normal oc edition

What apps do you use to shoe the fps in game and to boost ur fps/powr optimization in the first 3 mins? I will buy 1050 ti gtx and a core i7 card and my screen is a samsung but idk which type.
My old laptop had a 1050 Ti, and I just recently upgraded due to the laptop starting to fall apart. I admittedly can't say I liked the graphics card; I always felt very held back as the years went on and games got more graphically intensive, because I feel rather nauseous and headachy when I play games at low FPS for extended periods of time, and the 1050 Ti really struggles to run modern games smoothly at anything more than the low settings. However, I'm still admittedly impressed that such a mediocre graphics card even at the time I got it can still run modern games like this in some form. It wasn't fast, but it was a lot more reliable than I gave it credit for. Of course, I can't say I'm displeased with my RTX 3070P laptop, nor with the fact that I can now run almost anything I want without risk of hurting my head. I have little doubt the 1050 Ti will become mostly obsolete soon enough, but I'm happy with the memories I have of it.
I have the 1050ti, but might be upgrading soon. I’ll keep my old card as it’s a beast that has done me very well. Personally I’d go for a mix of settings, mostly medium or high with some FSR 2.0 to help the frame rates.
If you're going to upgrade soon anyway then I suggest not to play any single player game yet. Upgrade it first for better visuals ,and performance,and overall better experience. That's why my 1050 ti only lasted 3 months before I upgraded it, I just don't see the point..
rx 560 4gb has an advantage because of more vram, it might give you better results + it's a newer architecture which might be another advantage (mainly in newer games) but if the games you play do not require more than 2gb-3gb then go for gtx 960 because is stronger, like 15% to even 35% depending on the game. If you can find a gtx 960 4gb around the same price then go for that but also keep an eye for a gtx 1650 or if your pc supports pci 4.0 go for rx 6400, these 2 are like 20-40$ more expensive at least where I live.
For real, when I first opened the game I had 44 FPS in the menu and knew something was wrong, switched that to Medium and went from 44 FPS to 135-140 FPS...
Im not gonna lie, as a 1050ti user I actually prefer Sony's IGTI upscaling over fsr, granted i havent exactly done a hard comparisoon of the two so if there are benifits that I'm missing lt me know, but iit seems to do a better job and on medium settings I get around 60 fps for the most part
is FSR 1 an option? I know that generally performs better even if looking worse, also, what about lower FSR quality settings like balanced or performance?
I also using rog strix 1050 ti but didn't purchased the game because I doubt I can play and enjoy the graphics, this is a massive test for 1050 ti users. I just wandering, If I buy today, do I still get the free expansion or suits that comes with pre-order purchased or no?
So, I've got a 1050Ti 4GB just like the GPU in this video, and I've pirated the game just to see if my PC could handle it. This video gives me hope, but we'll see since it's still downloading. I'm packing a Ryzen 2600X which should be more than enough for the job. I'll edit this comment when I check it out, 'cause it may be helpful to a lot of people. (Just to clarify, I don't want anybody to actually pirate the game if you don't have to. I'm not enough financially stable to put my $60 on the table not knowing if it'll even be playable. But if I find out it's as good as this gameplay, I'm definitely buying this masterpiece, as y'all should.)

I have Rx 580 8gb and I can play at max settings with 30 fps+ all of the time 🙂 And btw i don't think GTX 1050ti has bandwidth issue cuz my fps don't change much either

I dunno what all the shock was about. The original game was made to run on the PS4 and there aren't a bunch of upgrades as far as gameplay to the game nor the original textures so it SHOULD run with a playable PS4 type 900p look on a potato in theory. I'm shocked there isn't a dynamic resolution scaler built into the game like they used in the PS4 version.
My 1050ti had served me well through all these years but let's not deny the fact that it's starting to age that i fear it'll be the next 750ti in the next 3-4 years, guess i have to push through with my plan with the 3060ti.
1050ti was always a crap gpu, my laptop gpu gtx980m released in 2014 is faster then this crap 1050ti, also gtx980m has 8gb vram while 1050ti garbage is stuck on 4gb vram due to which it starts stuttering in many games if textures are set to ultra quality
@@snake2106 1050ti is not a crap gpu, the prices might be + you compare a high end mobile gpu with a mid-range gpu launched 2 years later, of course 980m should be better than 1050ti but that doesn't make it bad, those 4gb of vram were enough in 2016 when it was released but now you shouldn't use ultra quality with this card which is normal.
@@snake2106 In which you're right since Rx570 does a better job than the 1050ti by a mile, but the reason why i picked the 1050ti over the RX570 that my friend's gpu died out after using it after 3 years, my 1050ti still kicking 5 years later since i bought it.
