Even if Ally and Elegant were facing the opposite way, I doubt Elegant would go for a misfire because well, it's just not even close to guaranteed because misfires are all luck obviously. Since he was on the very opposite side of the blastzone, makes even less sense to go for misfire in that situation. I doubt he went for a misfire that wouldn't even of killed anyway... So painfully obvious it was a flub and all sorts of spaghetti.

You guys are wrong, it's just that Luigi mains are so good with their character that they can choose when to misfire.
