These guy are so skilled, they did an amazing job....so many channels based in the States they put in an LS and the vehicle is just one big shit box on wheels...
@@rivermonstersaustralia2743 That's an easy 30-35K conversion going by other companies out there. Diesel conversions (4.5LT) drive in/drive out are about 58K..but they put out 850NM of torque and still retain the GU 5-speed gearbox.
@@TheHayabusa09 “30-35k” I love it when people overestimate to solidify their beliefs on never affording the 15-20k that it actually costs. Look at Gold Coast patrols for example.
@@TaylorRobinson93 30K is a correct estimate for the majority of companies undertaking the work just due the shear labour cost involved when utilizing a smaller, specialized team. It's not an overestimation by any means as I highly doubt the figure that you've given includes any sort of engineering. It really seems that you're trying to solidify your own opinion here.
Planning on planting an LS in my D22 Navara, looking at this build is making me change my mind, looks like I'll stick with the first option, a 6.5 Chevy Diesel V8 with a GU Drivetrain and braced chassis....
Now this is interesting . Wil it be possible for you to give me some more info for this particular conversion . As it is impossible for me to get my Patrol to you as I live in South Africa.

Does any year of the 3l run a manual throttle cable? Looking at buying one (manual) to do gen 3 swap. If that's the easiest option. So what year is best for gen 3 swaps in other words.

I have a 3 door 1998 Nissan that I want to swap the original engine for the big block 454 engine and gear . Is it going to fit or will I require major work to do this ? Will the original intercooler be able to keep with the bigger engine ?
