Hi everyone! :)
Sharing to you my layover experience in Guangzhou, i had 2 layovers to be exact, first was last December 2018 from Dubai to Philippines and on January 2019 going back to Dubai.
I was traveling alone to a country so foreign to me with 99% of people who does not speak English. It was a bit challenging but surprisingly, i really had a great time!
Special thanks to China Southern for being generous enough to provide free overnight hotel stay, a 1 day metro ticket and some freebies which i will share to you on my next vlog.
Note: All Nationalities are given a 24-hr visa free entry provided that you have an onward journey to a different country. Some Nationalities though can have 144 hr visa free entry.

@@acejoannetizon it was very informative ❤️ but I have a question. As far as I know almost all social media are blocked in China including Google maps or translate. Then how do we communicate or find anything there? As most of the time while traveling we use google map or Google translate. And how do we communicate with our country people outside China? Any suggestions? Other than VPN?

Hi, Ace! Travelling this December via CS and will have a 30-hour layover in Guangzhou, but my next flight to LA will already be with Air China airlines. Will I still be eligible for a free stay? Thanks in advance

Unfortunately, Air China is not mentioned.

Hello po sis, sa Holiday Inn airport hotel ako nag stay (free transit hotel courtesy of China Southern Airlines). If mag CS airlines ka din, you may check my other video on how to get free transit hotel. Enjoy! 😉

Ate libre din ba ang shuttle bus from holidayinn expreess going airport? O only airport to hotel lang tlga? If no!how much ang taxi from holiday inn Express to guanzhou international airport?

yes free shuttle service to and from airport. Check nyo lng ang timings ng pick up and drop off sa reception.

Thank you for this video! I will be transiting alone in Guangzhou as well, now I have an idea what to do during layover. Does CS give free metro card to all passenger qualified? I didnt find any info about this in the website. Also, is it easy to ask for locals to help take your photo (thinking of language barrier here). Thank you!

Hi, thanks for watching the video. Yes CS is generous enough to a provide a 24-hr metro access, tourist map and admission tickets to the museum all for FREE. Once you get out from the immigration counter, head to the CS desk at the ground floor exit 21. CS also offer free accommodation as well if you have a layover for at least 8hrs! 😊 Im working on another video on immigration procedure and how to get the free accomodation and freebies courtesy of CS and will upload by the end of the week. 😊 Please subscribe and click the bell button so you will be notified once i upload the video 😊👍🏻

mitja drajzibner you can visit CS website to pre book your hotel accommodation to save your time OR you can do it at the counter as well.

mitja drajzibner hotel is free if your layover is 8-48 hours. I finally managed to book my hotel on that site after one week of multiple attempts. When you input the name make sure theres no space at all. Works for me. Good luck
