It's been a while, I hope you are all happy and healthy!
Did you know that today, it is the Mid-Autumn festival?
From today to September 8th, whole China is on holiday, meaning many people would be traveling around the country or overseas.
This period is also called the Golden Week, because this is where lots of Chinese customers would be enjoying time with their family and spending lots of money (and eating mooncakes).
Anyway, since today is a special day, I had also prepared a new vlog for you guys!

Nice video. My friends don't like visiting Guangzhou. They prefer the smaller cities and attractions. I have been to Guangzhou airport, Guangzhou South train station and the US consulate in Guangzhou. Maybe next month I will travel through Guangzhou again.

Yea, i don’t really see it recommended on foreign tourist platform, but i think, if any foreigner decides to live in guangzhou, it’s a must see! It’s quite impressive 🥰

Not sure if there is a craft beer festival in jiangmen, i know they have a coffee one though. Otherwise, i recently found a craft beer restaurant in Jiangmen, pretty cool. It’s called Steinhund and its located in an industrial kinda abandoned area 👍🏻

Going to GZ early next, using your video as part of my itinerary! Do you think I can get by with just Cantonese in GZ, I don't speak mando?

Hi dear, thank you for your comment ☺️ I am going to say the language situation is half half. Sometimes, i get by my day by just speaking Cantonese, particularly when going to old places. If very touristic, could be a little bit hard. If you know some basics in mandarin, it would be better. Like some vocabularies such as toilet, tissue, ticket, transportation, spicy, food etc. My mandarin is very scholar, i can’t make a conversation with people, but i can get to where i want and get what i want. I am going to post more vlogs in Guangzhou so stay tuned ☺️💕

I am from Northern Canada and have had some small travel experience in jiangmen and Guangzhou as well as a couple smaller places there I really feel i never spent enough time in every place So amazing and so big Truly the best travel experience of my lifetime

I feel you. It never really feels « enough ». There is always new things coming up, new trends, and it changes very fast. Once it was the camping trend, and you would see every single restaurant having their own « terrace », and another time, it was street booth right from the back of the car, etc. Things never last and it does feel that you are missing out of something if your stay is too short. Feel free to come back again, i am sure you will find more surprise and more gems to cherish 😊💕

You mean in the museum? Yes, back then, there were many wells around the nanyue royal garden, and people would use a bucket to withdraw water from it ☺️
