Love the female police officer who just happens to discreetly give the horses polo mints. No wonder they're always happy to see her when she comes over to the boxes to check in on the guards. She is also so quick to pull tourists into line.

Tourists should not only read the signs, but wouldn't you think before going to a destination you would read about that place, to ensure you aren't breaking any laws or rules?! Seriously in many countries break a law or rule, you are at risk of jail or being shot!

I kinda like when tourists ask if they can pet the horse and thank the guard that shows respect 😊

Those Russian ladies were grabbing the horses head and halter (where the guard could not see) so that the pictures taken had the horse looking at them and that is so so rude

Everyone has a phone and can get a translate app if they do not speak English! No excuse to not know what the sign says … maybe non-horse people don’t know what the rein is!

I'm sure there are a lot of people that come here that do not know what part of the tack that the "reins" are. People have slowly weeded horses out of their lives. Most people don't know horses at all. I've owned horses most of my life & still own them. They are big, very strong & very unpredictable. The people with kids are so cringy 😬

weather is so strange at the moment! i had to wear my autumn/winter coat today it was defiantly chilly! also the guard you didn't recognise is one of my favourite guards, i like how he is always so attentive to the horses and observant of his surroundings.. he's also one of the guards there that went extremely viral over a year ago.. but until recently I've not seen him on duty , so good to see one of the og faces again!

They should amend the sign. No touching and no feeding. You don't know where those hands have been and could be poison in food.

I had a chihuahua that was pretty well socialized. Not very barky or snippy. I would take her with me as much as I could because she could fit in my purse or jacket. She was always well behaved except when more than one child wanted to pet her. I always instructed them one at a time and one hand at a time. If there were multiple hands on her, she would freak out and try to snip. I cannot believe how these horses deal with all the hands on them. God love them and the guards for handling them from all these rude and clueless tourists! Thank you, John, for your wonderful videos and commentary.

The guard would pause for the horses as they are the unknown varient horses are flight animals and can even knock a guard you have about a ton animal between you and the wall saftey first you don't want that squashing you against the wall and as both regiments do work together the rider would not want to injure the foot guard

Hello John from Australia - Thank you for that information about the gatesman, I find that you are never too old (83) to learn something new everyday. Being from a military family I usually know quite a bit about procedure but there is always something new to learn about. When I used to travel I always tried to learn as much as possible about where I was going and what was acceptable as it can be very embarrassing if you are caught out for something that would appear trivial. Well done lady police officer always on the ball looking after the guards and horses.

The lady squatting to take a photo around 16:50 is probably wanting an angle that may make the person photographed look taller. It could be an interesting effect even if the person is tall.

Some of the guards Just have A regal type look to them Naturally. I'm not trying to put-down the other soldiers It is just that Some people Just have that type of look About them It just comes naturally to them. Not that they're better or They do things different It's just that god gave them That natural type look. I couldn't put-down in words What it is. Maybe it's the way they care themselves I don't know but some have it. I think that is why so many pics of the gatesman.

Horses have two-colour vision, like most mammals. This means blue-green, not blue-green-red like we do (and all the simian primates and fruit bats). In other words, they can see just the colours around blue and green in the spectrum, and not reds, oranges and most yellows (not the gold of the helmets, for instance). What I really mean is that they can't distinguish reds, etc., from anything else that's.not blues or greens, Quite what red appears to them isn't clear, but it won't be a separate colour from most colours that aren't blue or green, and it won't look red. When looking for a ball for a dog, for instance, don't choose red - choose blue or green. Possibly yellow (if it isn't very orange).

I thought it was Trinity because of the brown patch on the side of the nose. The brown parts are not so noticeable at certain angles and in different lighting.
