Yes, I have been to London and saw the changing of the guard, but it was in the 80’s❤❤❤ I will never forget that sight!! Saying Hello from Lake Charles, Louisiana ❤❤❤

I lived in Chingford as a child but had to go to Great Ormond Street once a month and my mother used to do tours of London to cheer me up after my appointments. Saw all these sights in the sixties before it got too commercialised. My favourite was my December appointment as we got to go to Selfridges to see the fantastic grotto they used to show. Happy memories of a time gone by. 🥲

Impressive formations, but can you imagine drying all.thise uniforms, and bear hats? What a job that would be. 😊❤ Thankyou.for the show today. From the US, windy and raining here, very chilly tonight at 32, after a 55-degree day. Our weather changes quite a lot this time of year, every 5 minutes it seems. 😊

Our Guards , are actually trained how to faint, and so are the resucuers, if needed, sometimes on extra special events like Trooing The Color for example, if our weathsr is extremely hot, and a Guard or 2 faints, and no one comes to help, its not that they dont care, its rules, no one goes out of formatiom, no matter what, Yes we have seen, a guard faint and others coming in,but all depends on fhe ceremony

Watching from Brisbane Australia. I have been to London twice. Both on stop ov ers to Guernsey. First weekend We got on top of the open double decker tourist bus. We went to tower of London in 2007 when the first Lady Scottish guard was starting her Tower quarterback duties. My Scottish husband proudly got to chat and get that tourist phot..me too! Also photo with guards. A wonderful trip o the river. Great commentary as we passed all the wonderful historic places.under the towe Bridge opening. Later did tour of the tower Bridge etc. Packed a lot in 3 days! On same trip another stop o er for 3 nights in ,Taiwan we also got photos standing g next to their guards and wat he'd the changing of the quarterback as well. What memories. Our biggest surprise in spite of a life time of photos tv etc was how lacking sky scrapers London was. Thanks for your channel.

I'm watching from Chandler, Arizona. I've been to Lndon but didn't get to see the changing of the guard. Had to choose want to do so we toured the Tower of London.

Interesting juxtaposition of the derelect condition of the door to the police cabin and the astronomical amount of expense being expended to the pomp and ceremony the police are there to protect.

Ridiculous having police doing any sort of security at a place where military are present . They are civilians at the end of the day and don't go to war. A complete Waste of time. The military should be the only ones there. They earned their place. The military police should be there running things.

I m not english but i studied all its history i love the country and slso your humour...i ador these guards too...but since the QEEN is gone i keep indide me e sadnes x tht Lost of her...she was carismatic and wise ...a real lady Queen...now to me England its not more the same...i feel so and i never likes her husbands' at all... now knowing Whats Appening to the king and the princesse of Wells is becomed all more and more caotic with the other prince in USA whith his wife do promiscous and do taky to sell lo the tabloid all the secret and pitifull situation at cort,.Pooor Queen!😢😮🤨🙏🥺😳🤔🥴
