I'm sick of watching these , they never enforce their own rules, guard just sits on the horse and still let's them do it, is it any wonder the tourists never stop?
I see that too. The tourist aren’t obeying the signs and the mounted guards aren’t either. The one police woman is much stricter and she does try to enforce all the rules. It is having an effect as the horses seem much more laid back. Still some biting or nipping.
If i didn't understand the language but saw a sign with writing or hieroglyphs or anything, i would automatically take it as a WARNING. Maybe it said, "Don't pull the cord, or don't stick your fingers in the light socket, or look both ways." I doubt it would stay. "Welcome to Britain, be an arsehole, and make a nuisance of yourself!?"
If they felt so strongly that their military men, women and horses were being overcrowded and always handy with the horses. Why put up a sign if the guards do not do anything? You've got to tell the guards to make it very clear.. I have a friend who speaks Chinese Mandarin and some Korean. And he tells me that some of the Chinese and the mandarins are actually being told to do it by whoever's taking pictures, they talk amongst themselves about touching or the rains. They're not stupid they know exactly what they're doing. But as far as the guards are concerned with the touching they have to start saying something or shouting
Yes! It's just like what I heard with the Italian woman and the teens she was accompanying. She read the sign out loud in both English and Italian and then coaxed the girls to go ahead and touch the horse because "He (the Guard) won't say anything." The tourists know exactly what they're doing.
@@samic1051 Thanks and thanks very much for the information you've posted! For some unknown reason, I completely forgot to thank you when I responded to your great comment. It clears up all doubt!! Ciao!! 🙂
In order to make it clear to tourists that horses and riders are working soldiers here, there should also be a sign on the other side of the horsebox that points this out. Maybe then the tourists will come out of their Disneyland dream
They want a picture with the horse with their hand on it & they’re having it .. that’s all they want to know.. nothing else & they do it too .. they’re not stupid
@@samjones3106they have no order of any sort there.. armed police talking to each other all day .. they are clowns to entertain tourists & tourists take maximum p##% out of them.. it’s a Disneyland for tourists
FOR GOD'S SAKE....SPEAK!! What happened to all the splendid Troopers who defended their horses and tolf all the freakin numpties to "STAND CLEAR OF THE KING'S GUARD!" Why have signs and pictograms if they're not enforced?
Well, I guess the new signs are just lip service to keep them from getting sued over a bite. The well being of the horse is not their concern or the mounted troopers concern.
It really is a pity that the warning signs are even necessary. These tourists should know better than to distract the guards or their horses while they are preforming their duty.
Listen…the guard can’t protect his horse let alone protect whatever is in that knackered old .. no paint on it ., or pressure washed dirty old building
It may not be perfect but this is a huge improvement! I'm not really sure why they don't have signs on both sides as it is entirely possible to approach from one side without seeing the sign at all.
Good call by the guard, he saw the lady reach for reins & hollered at her. She dropped her hand. Pretty sure by now guards are certain who is reaching ( or grabbing sneakily)!
First horse looks uncomfortable with his bit? Mouth foaming, chewing, head tossing. Anyone? Do they ever use bitless bridles? Would really love to see that since they are not asked to do much other than stand. Make them as comfortable as possible.
Les soldats lors des déplacements ,on ressent leur fatigue dans leur marche , oui les bottes sont pénibles en plus !! Pauvres idiots ,arrêtez de vous moquer !!!! Bravo messieurs ! Monique 🇫🇷.
Tourists are not interested in your signs.. they are not blind.. they can see what’s on 1 wall.. they know what they want & they are having it no matter what.. & they do with nothing said or face any challenges like fines.. they’re not stupid
And to me, this just looks like a waste of taxpayers' money to have the guys Parading around with their swords drawn and on the horseback they don't need that c*** It's all a dog and pony show.
