Groot & Rocket and Rocket & Groot... does everybody appreciate how beautiful this pairing actually is? When a racoon is scared where does it go? A tree. Perfect.
Excuse my language, but Zoe Saldana is fucking hot, and I'm totally straight... and this was a good fucking movie, and I usually don't even like ''super hero'' movies.
Let's face it. In a fight between the Avengers and the Guardians, the Avengers would win. I mean, Thor and Hulk. Enough said. However, what would actually happen is that StarLord would crack some jokes and Tony would be all "Finally someone who speaks English" and they'd be best buds and all ends well.
+Swetha Sanjay Sindhu It depends. I think the Guardians work much better as a unit; The Avengers can each stand on their own but they also fight with each other A LOT and that hurts morale. The Guardians on the other hand have it each other and wouldn't have it any other way, so they have greater resolve. That, and I'm not sure every Avenger would want to be in that fight. Bruce would probably abstain if he could, Thor's starting to become wiser so he might see it as a conflict that he must remain impartial to. Plus, I think the Guardians are also more versatile on their own, like Rocket with his crazy tinkering skills and Drax with his ability to improvise just about any weapon. The Guardians also haven't been as fleshed out, so some of them could become more powerful, like the guy who's half-god.
connorthesaucejones The Avengers have more experience though, talking in MCU terms. Besides, if they did have a fight, it wouldn't be without a valid reason, and if there is valid reason, then the Avengers know better than to fight amongst themselves in that period of time in which they're battling the Guardians. Sure, later they may have conflicts, but not during the battle. They're much wiser than that. Besides, the Avengers outnumber the Guardians. And Thor has become wiser, but if the Avengers fight anyone (for a reason), he will stand with them. And if the matter is serious, obviously Bruce would join the fight
***** Haven't you read comics where the Avengers fight Thanos and other villains in space? The Avengers who can't breathe have specialised space suits for themselves. They've done so many battles in space and won. And you're forgetting Hulk, he could breathe in space too. Counting the new Avengers, Scarlet Witch can breathe in space too. So that would make Tony, Thor, Vision, Scarlet Witch and Hulk can regularly breathe in space and the others have their space suits. Even without the space suit ones, the five of still can beat the Guardians. I love the Guardians, don't get me wrong, but the Avengers would stomp.
***** You think Tony already hasn't built spacesuits and other suits and every other suit possible? He prepares for everything. He would already have made space suits for everyone. Why would they need to train? They've fought Thanos in space in the past. They've fought enemies on different planets. And okay, if you're taking only the MCU into consideration, Scarlet Witch wouldn't be involved in the fight. But War Machine could join the fight easily because he has a suit like Tony. And Hulk would never leave the Avengers if he knew they had to fight an external threat.
dont forget that drax everytime he fights he becomes stronger as in the comics and drax stabbed thanos through the chest so maybe guardians would win XD
I Heard Vin can act like a real dick behind the scenes sometimes. Funny how you hear about certain actors behaviours off-camera, but they are Always the sweetest on-camera. I wonder why...
@@nicke9118 I've never heard a bad thing about Vin Diesel, quite the opposite in fact. He's shown that he actually cares about the people around him on many occasions.
Zoe is freaking hilarious. And I agree with her, I wouldn't want to see the Guardians and Avengers fight each other. They're all such badasses and so completely different from each other. I just want to see them all kicking ass and taking names. That and I just want to see their reactions to Groot.
You know, he really seems to click and get the friendship/trust of his female co-stars. When people are comfortable with you putting an arm around them or grabbing a shoulder in moral support etc, and they don't tighten up at all, or even lean into the contact it says something about you. Seems like a sincere, sweet person.
Holy Hell...Zoe just said she was a Bene Gesserit for many Halloweens. She is now totally kick-ass in my world. She has just moved up to my top 10. Viva Zoe! LOL
Its so funny being reminded how much of sci-fi/comic/fantasy nerds frigging Vin Diesel and Zoe Saldana can be. Much respect that she, like myself, read Dune at a young age! In my case, younger than 10.
How would Groot say (insert some inane text here.) Vin Diesel: "Awkward." lol... you the man, Vin, and I agree completely. What a weird question to ask.
He said a million dollars a minute jokingly, but in all seriousness, if you go calculate according to the runtime of the final cut, the budget is $1,393,442.63 per minute. So it's actually significantly MORE than a million dollars a minute.
her face may be gorgeous but her body is a toothpick she is one of the million reasons that average and thicker sized girls feel so insecure but yes shes gorgeous
@@andrewbryton2936 plus size is unhealthy, that's the simple truth. there is nothing wrong with plus size people but we shouldn't glorify it, its unhealthy and we should strive to be healthy. average or chubby is fine too. My point is we shouldn't make kids want to be plus size, that can lead to diabetes, it can lead to heart problems, it almost always leads to a younger death than they otherwise would have.
I see these three together and I'm thinking Chris and Zoe would _totally_ fit in a Fast and Furious movie. And even more, Chris has a whole Paul Walker-ish look going on.
It was funny how Zoe’s like where’s my money? Holds her hand out And Chris Pratt kisses her on the cheek like there’s your payment. That’s funny and so sweet.
Don't get why Star Lord never visited earth, but outside of that this was a great movie. I think all the characters were really well handled and they had enough interplay and character development and humanization to keep you interested in them and make you really care about them. The story was good and I love how they suprised me with how good of a character Groot and Rocket were gonna be. I love how human they both felt and how you could relate to some aspects of them, I honestly thought Rocket was going to be just the funny guy who fucks around and the way he was such a great character was a good suprise. And don't even get me started on the music... I really hope they make prequels for all of the characters, I would love to have a Groot and Rocket prequel with them just bounty hunters and a story of how they met because they seem to have a long history and i would love to know what made a racoon and a tree become such good friends. Great movie, 9/10, definatly one of the best superhero movies out right now and is for sure in my top 10 list of all time and top 10 list for this year.
I could explain the star-lord thing, in the beginning of the movie his mother dies and he never took her hand. To him earth brought up to much bad memories for him and thought since his mother is gone, there's no reason to return Back to earth. Not only that but it took him 29 years to open his present from his mother I hope you got what I was trying to say
It will be such a shock when Peter goes back to earth, because not only has humanity progressed since 1988, but as this is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Earth is more publicly aware of the superheroes phenomenon, due to the Avengers, which will be a huge shock to the system.
if you had access to the galaxy would you go back to earth to go through a mcD drive thru, or go to some cool planet made out of butts with your grampa rick? Eggzactly
Well there are rumours that they really needed him for groot but to persuade him to play a character with only three words , they said that because this character was animated he will also get to play another character (allegedly black bolt from the inhumans.
turniptyrant I like Vin but how could they possibly need someone for a three word animated role? They could get whatever no-name voice actor and just manipulate his voice with computers to get the desired effect.
turniptyrant 100% agree with that. Marvel's got that kind of money to throw around. So why not get Cooper to voice Rocket and Vin to voice Groot? When you're dealing with an obscure comic book franchise and you're three stars, Pratt, Saldana and Bautista, aren't exactly A listers, you need to bring on some heavy hitters. The movie did not need Glen Close either but that sure helped.
ughh, without fail Google always has the worst interviewers/moderators for these talks. Either too chatty, obnoxious or just plain awkward. Get some people who know what they're doing. Use some of those billions you people earn.
Vin has such a beautiful smile. It is a movie that kids can see and enjoy as well as adults. I instantly fell in love with Rocket, Yandu, and Groot. Feel terrible that Yandu died. I love Zoey in all of her roles especially in Avatar. Her movements are beautiful and Chris OMG. He is such a looker now. I am looking forward to volume 3 of the Guardians.
“There’s gonna be a crossover and everyone’s gonna die in the first three minutes.” (Kinda tru) - Chris Pratt’s prediction of infinity war, 5-6 yrs before the movie.
Lex is right, the symptoms between ADD and ADHD are very different, the most noticeable would be that people with ADD have a hard time focusing on one subject for extended periods of time causing them to change what they are talking about, the point they are trying to make and how to get that point across. This can make them seem like they are hyper but really it's just takes more effort to get a point across on their part and more effort on the listener's part to understand the point being made (this all depends on the severity of the condition obviously). ADHD means there actually is a hyperactive characteristic to their personality which really tends to make the effects of ADD more severe, as well as other differences but I don't feel like re-rewriting a college essay.
Zoe is in everything good. Not only Guardians but Avatar also. She's a great actress. I'm really going to miss the characters. I love these movies. I'm sure Vol 3 will be the best. It's also going to be sad. Some of them die. And it's the last one. You know they paid Vin tons of money just to say I am Groot. This new and last movie is going to be bitter sweet. I can't wait to see it. Thanks Guardians for one last ride.
Vin diesel likes dungeons and dragon?? That's cool he is in touch with that side. I think a great movie would be The Avengers team up with The Guardians of the Galaxy to fight the evil lord of darkness...whomever ever they may be.
Chris Pratt is just AMAZING! I love how he relates to Star Lord wow such a lovely and committed actor! The listening to the tape 100+ times for his character thing is awesome.
*Deepest or most in depth, most deeper makes you sound like you and grammar got in a fight years ago and still haven't gotten over it, I don't intend that to be an insult, especially if English isn't your first language, just a heads up. However Iron Giant could quite arguably be a more in depth character than Groot.
Gamora... 100% Gamora. I don't know that there is really anything Black Widow can even do to her. Gamora has durability, speed and strength feats WAY beyond a normal human. Black Widows most powerful weapons are electricity based and we know from her fight with Nebula in GOTG V.1, Gamora can easily tank and shrug off shock weapons. She's fast enough to dodge energy blasts from nova core rifles after they've fired, and strong enough to burst out of grits branches with her bare hands, carry Drax through a forest dangling from a spaceship with only on hand, and pick up and fire (with no effect from recoil) a spaceships cannon. She also got squished by Ego between huge cliffs and came out unscathed. Gamora wins... there is a reason she's called "the deadliest woman in the galaxy"
+sgtcojonez +1, personally I don't think Dr Who is even scifi, it's just fantasy since the "science" is so advanced it appears as magic. Unlike teleporters on startrek etc Dr Who scifi never gets explained and it gives the audience the "feeling" it's magic. That's not what scifi is supposed to be about... but anyway maybe I'm alone, I just don't think Dr Who is scifi, just fantasy and it's annoying when people bring up Dr Who when we're talking about scifi.
Zoe: "I would love to see the avengers and the guardians fighting like thanos together." * many years later * mcu tries that and starlord screws it up😂
Killer interview! I am a much bigger fan of all three after this interview. Now I know that Vin is a dedicated Gamer, Zoe is a Sci Fi Gal and Chris is just a really great guiy! Can't wait to see the next movie! Sluggo
The confusion probably comes from the fact that during his wrestling career he went as Batista. Bautista is a seriously busy guy, he probably just didn't have time.
just take a minute and think about, Vin Diesel is an intense physical actor, was giving three words and completely nail a character that was complete CGI! Dude got the chops yo!
"some crumby show on NBC"...? Parks and Rec is life.. I feel like Chris would mentally have a hard time with this interview, hes very level headed and sentimental and Im sure has this like emotional connection with his character Andy hes brought to life in the show, and he seemed like he was kind of tired of Zoe's ego the entire time.
Jazmin Sandoval I respect your comment, that was a very well thought out way of explaining it to me! I understand that side of it now, and see it for what it really is. Thank you for the reply and explanation!
@@jazzzzy4444 I can see what you mean. The hosts really pissed Chris -- a lot? Slightly? I'm not sure. But he always jumps to the rescue and defend what they kinda poke fun at or make a joke of. I'm not sure if the hosts actually meant anything by it, or that's just how they know to bring humor into the conversation or something, but. Well. At least we really saw how invested or attached Chris was to their movie. And that's understandable.
