Daisuke Thawne were they going to go to the shop to get the guardians? Yes. Did they think rocket was in there? Yes. So with it without the music rocket knows they’d go in there.
@@joseluis5055 Some of them but he don't care. Let's not forget he doesn't usually care about anything but himself and Groot but outside he's willing to steal stuff and such
@@anomanomom239 You think he's above murder? He's been in space prisons multiple times and broke out of them, has stolen and screwed over rivals. I'd say he's a every raccoon for himself first then a Guardian 😂
Wobbly Yapper I know in the first movie, they always made comments about how much they hated it, and now as you can see here Rocket sings along... good character development!
my favorite part of this is the music itself because the soundtrack is outstanding and how this amazing soundtrack is incorporated. rocket is using the music as a distraction and a false location to make them think he is there but also uses it to keep groot calm and so he doesn't freak out and get scared. rocket has so many layers to him and i hate that some just see him as the comic relief character. yes, he is most definitely a comic relief character, but to truly understand his purpose for being there, you have to look past his humorous personality and focus on his actual "human" side (or..raccoon side i guess). it's incredible how deep a character can be.
Fun-fact: The Director says he writes scenes *to fit the music* when traditional movie making sets music to the scene. His directing style makes for such a unique feel-which we clearly all love.
I wish there was more scenes like this in guardians 1&2 as it just show much of a badass Rocket really is, the MCU should gives his character more love and actually show his background or at least have him properly talk about it instead of being very vague. Maybe in Guardians 3
This is one of my favorite scenes. The music and rocket singing along is just awesome. Makes you first feel like rocket is doing something and not paying attention while he just put up an ambush. Hope for more of this.
Rocket is the best of the five Guardians. He has the technical savvy to build things, set up traps, fly spacecraft, hack into computer networks, and make bombs. The rest are brutes and one human idiot. Rocket, in many ways like R2-D2, gives the little guys tons of props.
This feels like such a horror scene, I mean there plenty of comedy, but this really feels like it could have went so dark. It still gives me this eerie feeling knowing it's just Rocket there to protect the baby. And his singing to keep groot calm makes him failing all the more sad
Also I just rewatched it again and realised that he was humming into a walkie talkie so groot would know that he is still ok bc he was worried and IM SCREAMING ITS SO PRECIOUS AND KYEWT I CANT SJSJDJSKFKFKFKFKF
@@bashengatheblackmanta7003Its hard to rank tbh, I absolutely love 3 but I have a personal love for this one because of the message about fathers. I’ll just say this is the best trilogy in the MCU. Seems like the guardians movie pulls the MCU out of its “phases”, when it was serious GOTG1 introduced comedy like we haven’t seen in the MCU but kept its emotional depth. Now that the MCU is comedy GOTG3 brings back the seriousness without losing its humor. Props to James Gunn
0:49 OMG i love that line, it shows Rocket legitimately enjoys Peter's old school music tapes now. I guess you could say it's really grown on him and also how close he and Peter have become as a part of that. It seems Southern Nights is one of Rocket's top favorite songs apparently. I guess the more he's been with the Guardians but especially Peter over time since they first crossed paths it has been a big influence. You could even say he's a man/raccoon/trash panda of culture, and it really hammers the difference within him as compared to the first film. Talk about character development and depth, as he looks to have taken a liking to those same songs which Peter has carried with him since the day he was whisked away from Earth after his mom's passing.
@@SheWolf_Warrior If you ever get a chance to read his four issue origin series I highly recommend it. Nothing at all to do with the way the movie went.
Guys you’re all missing the most important thing! From 1:01 to 1:10 Rocket is literally singing to Groot! THAT’S THE MOST ADORABLE THING EVER I’M CRYINGGG!!!!😭😭😭
Little known fact: rockets first decade in marvel after his debut he was only used 3 times and was a relatively unknown character. He wasn’t paired with groot till 2007
This movie deserves every award for its soundtrack. The music choices in these movies make them an entirely unique experience. The only watchable entries in all of phase 1 marvel!
Fun fact... that guy who was thrown in the air and is front and center is Gui, Black Panther's stunt double on Civil War.. he's also one of Rumlow's agents in Winter Soldier (opening scene and elevator fight scene) and Civil War (opening fight scene)..
I love that normal soldiers stand absolutely no chance against a guardian by themselves. Each one of them has their strengths but you see just how capable rocket is here even though he doesn’t have the strength or other abilities like that. Yondu was the only reason rocket doesn’t kill every single ravager and I love the idea that as soon as he knew he was alone rocket prepped his defenses of the ship and again regular soldiers don’t stand a chance haha.
Honestly. We all noticing rocket humming into the radio to make sure Groot wasn't worried. I'm legit crying 😭💖 he also said "promise you won't hurt Groot." Legit crying 😂
Rocket isn’t much of a fighter, he is adept at plans and tactics and engineering weapons and bombs, guns etc he can fight though but he is the only one that uses his head. Stark, Thor, hulk, black widow, cap, marvel, all are reactionary and just use brawn with zero thought. I hope they don’t turn rocket into a dumb fighter like the rest. Rocket would be the one to plan the attack since he is familiar with other worlds, and the technology and is the only one who is smart enough to use tactics. Stark is arrogant and lived a life of privilege, while a genius, he is no where near the level rocket is. Rocket has always had plans and lived by his wits with other beings always looking down on him. Rocket and nebula and marvel and Thor are the only ones who have been around the galaxy, And marvel and Thor are just reactionary fighters. Nebula is filled emotion and most of her planning has failed due to the pain and rage. So rocket should come up with the plan and design the weapon or weapons or armor and traps for the battle, I don’t see any of the others being able to do that. Rocket is the key for the endgame.
Ruben Diaz I see your point about stark and BW. I just fear they are just going to use rocket as comic relief. Since everyone else is so serious in the trailers. I hope I’m wrong.
THGraham I do have a feeling rocket is going to have an important in endgame. In the guardians of the galaxy telltale game, he made the weapon that freakin’ one shorted thanos. So he could possibly make a weapon similar to that in the movie
Racoons are territorial in real life. Those last two learned the hard way. You're not so bad without your toys? Ha! If this was rated r both of them would have been mauled. I can't wait to see how rocket interacts with people in the next avengers movie this year.
Glen Campbell's Song about Southern Nights used by Rocket to lure in the enemy then expertly take them out? One of the best things I've ever viewed. Also, imagine the last thing you hear before being killed/beat up by Rocket is a recording of a happy man cheerfully singing about the Southern Nights. Best way to go out.
Rocket knows how to fight excellently. Then he beat the ever loving fuck outta the dude with the cannon, he was punching him in the temples and other soft spots on the head, great places to strike to cause severe damage.
