In Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere. But it isn’t long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life-a mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.

The first GOTG was my mom’s favorite comic book movie ever, sadly she passed away from cancer complications in 2015 at just 65 years old. What hooked her to the movie at frost was the soundtrack of songs she grew up on but then she loved it so much that she became a fan of the MCU. So this franchise has a very special place in my heart and I’m very likely gonna shed tears by the end of this movie.

There is one skill that Gunn possesses when making movies that has always scared me. He has completely mastery over emotional manipulation in any film he makes, so you can be laughing one moment and bawling the next. This is one of the very few future MCU movies that is certain to be good.

I heard more of the dialog with yours than I did with theirs, for example. Yes, it looks like a sad and happy thing at the same time. Hmm. To ensure their safety, we need to leave the series finale for "Saint Elsewhere" alone! Tommy Westphal's Autism powered his imagination, and it created the universe in his mind that both "Marvel" and "DC" coexist inside of. My personal theory is I think Rocket thinks that the High Evolutionary is coming for him and wants to stop him, but we find out he is actually coming for Peter. I think he wants to extract Peter’s celestial DNA to create Adam Warlock. I think we lose Peter, but part of him will live through Adam Warlock going forward, and Rocket becomes the new leader of the Guardians.

Can you imagine, in like 10-15 years from now, when there is another cosmic story from Marvel and you have this group of your hero-type-upstarts and one of them is the "hulkish" type (strenght based) but he somewhat is not ready and somehow, somewhere they come across this older, grizlled version of Drax, who becomes a mentor for the "newbie"? I mean, everyone would just loose it, it could be this cool.

Oh man, I got a bit teary during this trailer which I hadn't expected... I will need to bring so many tissues to the theater. At this point I kinda expect to lose about half of the Guardians, whether they die (Drax), leave the team (Kraglin) or some other shenanigans (Gamora and Peter) I don't expect Guardians to be same by the end and I suspect I will cry a lot. Weirdly, I'm not worried about Rocket. If anything I can see him ending up as the new leader of the Guardians considering how much he has developed as a character since his introduction. Also a GCI character is perfect for returning again and again and not be worried about the 'actor' aging out of the role.

Gunn's GOTG Creation was SO critical to the MCU's expansion & appreciation (so much so that actors thought twice about returning when he got fired briefly), I'm gonna be pretty sad to see these beloved characters' journey end 😫 Nebula's "Knock it off!!!" = 🤣👍🏾👌🏾 I don't think Drax or Rocket will make it & it's possible Adam Warlock replaces Quill b/c he's gone. I relate w/these 3 so much b/c I can identify with being reckless based on life experiences and struggling to deal w/the consequences...hoping you'll heroically prevail. Hector Navarro wants EVERY single actor to continue playing their same Guardians character FOREVER lol! Dude, that's not even feasible, or possible. There are bound to be other actors who could take on those roles. And there are many other Guardians of the Galaxy characters/team members that we haven't seen and need to be introduced.
