It’s not traditional, the church tradition was the vernacular language. What use is a mass if it’s attendees don’t know what’s being said?

@@ByZHellasit was in Latin from the 300s-1960s. That’s significantly more time than it was in the vernacular. And Mass is literally the same formula each week. If you’ve read the canon of the Mass once, you know exactly what’s being said. They also print missals with translations from Latin to English. We’re not medieval peasants with no way of figuring out “what is being said.” It’s extremely easy. Almost 100% of novus ordo parishes I’ve been to in my life have missalettes with the changing parts of Mass in them, and everyone there speaks English.

Then He said in Matthew's gospel chapter 18 verse 17 that whoever does not obey the pope will go to hell. 2 popes cannot bind each other and you have been given the wrong information on Pius V. BTW, changing the order of mass is not changing the faith. The preVatican 2 church teaches that if you judge the pope you are automatically excommunicated. The TLM is the Latin mass of 1962 and the Novus Ordo is the Latin mass of 1969. Look closer, 1962-1969 are the years of Vatican 2. The TLM is the mass of Vatican 2, if you don't understand why this is a problem then you have not done enough research. This movement is a scam.

What if it is not God’s will? How do you test this? You compare it to the words of God found in scripture. God says in Matthew’s gospel chapter 18, that if you disobey the pope you will go to hell. So if Pope Francis says no Latin mass then you cannot attend it. If you disobey then the mass will be a black that profanes the body of Christ.

@@themoderncatholicwarrior7216 the Pope cannot (and has not, and as of recently has shown no intention to) ban the Mass. And the Mass that once was sacred can never be profane (a Pope said that, so I guess you have to absolutely accept this fact blindly, in your view). This is not how Catholicism works. The Pope is the Supreme Pontiff, but he is not a god who makes and unmakes sacredness at will. That's not what Matthew 18 teaches.

@@cfban The Pope has put major restrictions on the 1962 mass. He is still allowing the FSSP to function. Now here are the words of Jesus talking about what the pope can do, "And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven" (Matthew 16:19). John the apostle talks about the pope's authority, "These things saith the Holy One and the true one, he that hath the key of David; he that openeth, and no man shutteth; shutteth, and no man openeth" (Rev 3:7). So yes the pope can do these things.

Yes our TLMs are growing here in Australia also. Full of young people, many children. So heartwarming.

Lefebvre was excommmunicated and illicitly consecrated bishops. Praise the FSSP

In 2009 Pope Benedict XVI remitted the excommunications of the Bishops soooo...technically they're not excommunicated 🤷‍♀️.

Trent Horn has been silent about Traditionis Custodes for two years. I remember that at the time he said that of course he has an opinion, but that his job is to bring people to the Faith, and that he wants to avoid in-fighting in the Church (a position that I respect). I'd like to see what he has to say now.

I have no problem with obedience but that isnt blind obedience. We do not obey all the way to our deaths. Im sick of hearing about obedience! Wake up! Bergoglio and his non catholic crew of masons are destroying the church in your face and those like you want to sit in the pews with your head in the sand.

When the pope discards something that has been done for more than half of the life of the Church, what then? When he is glad to vilify faithful Catholics and invite schism, what then? You assume wrong intent. It is not a question of pride, but the desire to do what the Church has always done, to worship as those before us have. Both pontiffs preceding the current one have affirmed the rights and validity of the faithful in seeking the traditional rite. Now this one contradicts his immediate predecessors? There is pride indeed, but not where you think it is.
