I understand what you are saying but that was an intentional strategy to create that mystery around the designs. You would now want to deep dive into these designs, either through social media or brick and mortar locations. Take your case... you are so intrigued now. Mission accomplished for Gucci :-)
Alessandro is a genius...people, I think, have become so used to watching runway with typical lighting that he has found a way to really seize one's attention by having the models walk in such moody lighting, running in the shadows or away from paparazzi lights. His shows have become breathtaking midnight meanderings, catching a glimpse of a rare creature as if by childhood torchlight....I love it!!
I am used to gucci's dark and mysterious atmosphere during fashion shows but it's too dark this time. But the clothes look amazing though! And um... I think I just saw KAI?!!
I'm here searching for kim jongkai in the audience but the lightning was...sorry whether it was from someones's idea but..I can't see the design properly either....
I actually liked the lighting effects. Because I only had a brief time to see, only key points that drew themselves to me were noticed 1st time around. It really made those bits hit me. A very eclectic mix of eras and styles, patterns and plains, vibrant colours and neutral tones. I feel like there is something to float almost anyones boat (haha sad pun) here. Awesome stuff guys and gals!!
Kevin De Jesus No, that isn’t the case. For this season Alessandro wanted this fashion show to be dramatic with the lights off and excessive light flickering. There is always a reason.
Just when I thought the dumbest catwalk idea was Marc Jacobs silent catwalk along comes Gucci in the dark. I would love to know what the audience were thinking.

i find that this style has been replicated to many times? there were a few unique ones but i feel like so many of these outfits have just been reimagined from previous years.
