Aaron, I think you reviewed the Gucci Oud in this one, not the Gucci Intense Oud. Gucci Oud is a female marketed fragrance with Oud, Rose, and Pear, whereas Gucci Intense Oud is a male marketed fragrance with Amber, Oud, Olibanum, and Smoke. In addition, Gucci Oud (the one you mentioned in the video) comes in a 100ml, whereas Gucci Intense Oud only comes in a 90ml. We demand a re-review, honestly. I'd be happy to hear your thoughts on the actual Gucci Intense Oud.
Man, I really appreaciate your ethics and kindness regarding animals, it is also a very nice review, very interesting and such a pleasure to learn so much details!
Alexandre Szpajdel thank you so much for noticing my ethics. It’s important that ethics NEVER becomes less important then money. I will always be an ethical company. I will always pay a living wage to all people that work for me and NEVER test on animals to sell in China
Thanks a lot ATH for your passion, your honesty and for trying to teach us a little bit about fragances. You are brutally honest and I love that. Please continue breaking down all these fragances that are so expensive, and that sometimes are not really that great. Love the video!!
It seems like you reviewed Gucci Oud Intense (2016), but read off the notes for Gucci Oud (2014). Which the 2014 has Rose, Pear, Raspberry, the 2016 doesn't. Which explains why you didn't smell any traces of Rose or fruitiness. I have the 2014 and it's fantastic, not as masculine as 2016, but still a great fragrance.
Hi Aaron Great review again. That's very Nice of you giving the lucky ones the chance of making a fragrence and you give a knowledge at the fragranceworld. I wish all the Best for you my friend. Best regards from Denmark❤️
Aaron, great to know you have your channel. Really enjoyed seeing you on FM channel, and am now really happy to know you have your own channel. Looking forward to seeing future reviews as great as this one. Have a great year of 2020
Aaron is the only person I've heard say this fragrance has sandalwood, including fragrantica. It reminds me of how you smell after washing with Mysore Sandal soap, which is about $1 per bar. Granted the soap won't smell on you for as long as this perfume, but I could tell it was sandalwood being used as a cover for oud. Shame on Gucci. How can a company get away with saying 100% oud oil if it isn't in there?
As always so fair and balanced 🙂 you do oud in your fragrances so well 😍 it's one of them notes iv grown to really enjoy. I didn't like it at first but you learn to appreciate what it does and the depth it gives. Thanks again for a great video 🙂
Learning something new every time I watch your video. THANK YOU!❤🤗 Oh- just watched your appearance on FM with Chris... wished I could joined in your perfume creation party. FUN FUN FUN
this music turned up abit, a gloomy velvety background, and the light slightly fromthe undesrside to give depth, and sensuality. this, for me, is the perfect setup for a video. the music may come off as a bit repetetive, but maybe another track with a trans/ house upbeat. ..really puts me in the zone.
Most informative fragrance channel on RU-vid...thank u...would love to see a tutorial of how a beginner could make their own fragrances as far as proportions and how u decide what and how much to include...thanks again for the great content
Amazing review Aaron. You are exactly the man that this silly community really needed for a long time! Like this frag very much, although sometimes I get bored by it, cause its pretty linear as you mentioned. Nevertheless, its one of the best in designers game IMO. Have you tried Gucci Guilty Absolute? Another winner from this house.
hello Aaron..I can buy this fragrance for 80 US dolars range, but if its reformulated? Is its good idea?I like black afgano and need to simmilar scent of this wibe-which perfume beats this price range this fragrance?
I really like this fragrance, however I've been quite hesitant to buy it as it is quite masculine. I thought that maybe I could pair it with a vanilla or rose fragrance to make it more unisex, do you think that would work? One of my favourite fragrances is Nasomato's Black Afghano, i wear that one a lot even though it's quite masculine as well. Love your videos so much, I can't wait to try some of your fragrances!
To work out the price per ml with a 100ml bottle you just move the decimal point to the left by 2 places. That’s because 100 has 2 zeros. So take £138.00 and move the decimal place 2 places to the left (£1.3800 per ml)
Honestly these calculations just should not be done with a calculator’s help, if they do it’s a shame… stopped watching after seeing this 😅 no offense, sorry…
Why does this go rancid on my skin? I really wanted to like this, the opening is really good but it turns into a monstrosity on me. It happens with other fragrances too ☹️
Aaron it'll be nice if you share where you source these samples... Trying to ensure we are buying from the right places too. Diff deals on diff websites.
Always appreciate your take on fragrances. Too bad this wasn't impressive to you cause I love this stuff. And easy to wear oud for me. What would you say is a worthy investment to replace Gucci Intense Oud? Somthing in the same price range that simply crushes it on winter days and night outs
Could you please review the following fragrances, please? They're some of my favourites and some I haven't smelled yet but I really want to try them. I'm curious what you think about them, from a professional's perspective. Nasomato Narcotic Venus Nasomato Black Afghano Franck Boclet Cocaïne By Kilian Rolling in Love Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique Frederic Malle Carnal flower Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge
Thanks Professor A.T.H. I personally like it and had wear it in winter , again was deceapointed that the Gucci does not contents real oud but I guess that for a 75 pounds online it is technically impossible . And also deceapointed about the fact that the company lies. I really hope as you proposed that all companies will have to write all ingredients , natural aroma chemical by law. Thanks again Professor 👍

I watched a few of your reviews not trying to discredit you, but your review of Gucci intense oud is the furtherest from being true.have no clue why Gucci discontinued this fragrance. every time I wear this scent, I get stop by my friends and co-workers asking me what am I wearing. Two of my female co-workers already brought their own bottle.
Not a fan of killing animals for fragrances too, but surely the ambergris that washes up on the beach would be far more expensive and higher quality than the harvested ambergris.
I’m really pleased this was approved, it’s in no way my favourite oud but it’s lovely to wear on a day to day basis. The original Gucci - Oud was really pretty too ♥️
Even with marginal profits it all builds up, better to treat customers how you would like to be treated and keep on getting more businesses over longer time then one time rip off like all designer company's.
@@athinavarnava1668 You never know what im going to do with that name. Its one of my most favourite meanings for a woman name. Powerful and strong. Like Wonder woman (Who is my most favourite DC comic hero)
I smelt the ambergris at Jovoy in Mayfair yesterday and I've new appreciation for it now😍. Thank you for sharing. I can't wait to try your Fragrances ♥️
If it was called darkness of noir I’d marked it higher. But calling it OUD with no oud or traces of oud at 0.01% which I expect they have done means I give it a low mark. But it is very lovely. If you love it ware it. It is dark and masculine. But from a technical point of view I’m marking it as a pass. Can do better. If you get the chance to smell real oud you will understand 100% what I mean. Real oud and real rose is magical. This wasn’t at the level I know oud can be pushed to. Please also bear in mind that my nose is crazy and what I smell is different to what you do. I know the man who wares this is strong. Powerful , sexually assured and loves long lasting fragrance. So please continue to use your Gucci Oud. But please also try others as your understand what I mean when you start to educate and expand your pallet.
@@gsk621 With Oud I will be very hard and critical. Of all the types of fragrance out there. I love Oud the most. Which is why I know my stuff. I consider Onyx my greatest fragrance. That is Oud, Rose and Vanilla Tinture. So I expect greatness from that raw material as I work with it all the time. ATH
Just bought this! Even though it's no real oud, I totally get the corporate "I am gentle but I will crush you if you stand in my way" thing.. Though I'm no sure I'm bold enough to wear this to work ;p
Worst review of this excellent Gucci Oud intense I've watched! A million miles away from the actual truth! With all due respect. However you've come along way since this "Review" & I absolutely love your perfume review's. Some are spectacular. I applaud you. This one you got all wrong me Oud China. ❤😂😉
Why is real OUD so expensive...Sth East Asia is enormous and the tree itself commun af,nobody infects the tree to mass produce the oud...Hay gott2 say wha not....
No doubt gucci doesn't use real oud that shit will stink for a minute and then to the good smell. Gucci intense oud is real oud you didn't review it please do
could you make a 1 mil sample of your 9 fragrances and send it to me (in France) ? i can't afford 130€ for the Discovery Set, but i'd like to buy a bottle soon.
@@BigD4ddy847 Nor me. I love the way he is honest and doesn't give a fuck. And he's also self made. I see a lot of similarities between ourselves. But im very kind and gentle. If he gets attacked he attacks back. I just feel endless compassion towards people. ATH
