I drove through Atlanta in 1987. There was so many people dealing crack. I'm from south Florida and crack was bad there but Atlanta was on a different level. Yes I was a crack head fool. Back then the dope was pure. It took a ton of misery for me to quit. I've got more than 20 years clean. But I will never forget Atlanta.
At that time ATL projects were going at it w ppl from Miami for dealing in the city. Video Wayne documented the war between the ATL & Miami boys in the 80's.
Tbh. Gucci has every right to be upset. And to still be upset to this day. You tried to get me robbed….I went to jail for that. Or I could’ve lost my life. So 🤷🏿♂️
You are the only sensible person in this chat. If someone had a hit on my life or for me to get robbed and I smoke them. It’s Fucc you and who you hang wit
@@GoinCrazy25-8 it’s probably worse now in regards to rappers specifically. King Von, Slim 400, Drakeo the ruler, etc. all very recent hip hop artist deaths, all artist that were involved somewhat
@@GoinCrazy25-8 not in rap beefs. If they getting smoked it’s happening in they home towns before they was really on. Rap beef is soft and to sell records now. Mind ur business.
The hardest part of that versus was when Gucci said “I got the same amount of clothes on that you valued my life for! “ THAT’S SOME G SHIT TO LOOK AT THE MAN WHO PUT MONEY ON YO HEAD IN THE EYES AND SAY THAT SHIT‼️💯
Corrections: We love E-40 down south! He started his rap career in Louisiana, and "Captain Save-A-Hoe" is one of the early southern classics. I'm from Mississippi, so I know.
I was back and forth to Atlanta between maybe 2005-2009 and E40 was huge out there after linking with lil Jon and he definitely got a few things wrong in this video but you’d have to have been in Atlanta at the time to know
E-40 wasn’t NEVER I MEAN EVER HUGE OUT HERE aye man we was never crumping or wtf don’t get the Lil Jon compilation albums confuse on what was going on 🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣😂🤣
@@ljavery10 he didn’t say 40 was huge. He said no one was listening to him.. which sure he wasn’t massive but it wasn’t like we were like turn that e40 off no one wanna listen to that. Come on.
Nice to have you back swamp 🙃 ... I had to come back and watch a second time just to give my brain a break on how insane everything going on right now is…pray for Ukraine mane.
Everyone saying Gucci was immature for dissing one of the guys that tried to kill him. How would you feel having 5 guys kick in a door to a room you’re in? I’d probably talk my shit too.
How do you know that's what really happen? Like the cops said,If it was actually self defense Why didnt he call the cops or why di he hide the body and wipe all evidence??? Also all this happened at night time so that "gardener" witness shit was somebody he paid cause who cuttin grass at night?? lmaooo
@@pois1528 If there was 5 people there and one died why didn’t his “friends” report it? They were there for one thing, Gucci’s chain. And also the female that had Gucci over didn’t back him up in court either which seems like a setup. Doesn’t really matter to me what the truth is. Jeezy got his boy killed plain and simple.
I was born, raised, and currently live in Macon GA. We are very familiar with both of these guys. Especially Jeezy. I really like this episode! keep it up, Swamp Stories!
That’s messed up, walking into a trap and your mom on the couch. Happens a lot in every hood though, one thing I learned is watch who you call crackhead or dope fiend. They usually have kids that will bring it to you for shit like that. Crackhead or not it’s still their mom or dad.
Bottom of the map is Jeezy’s best song imo, but Gucci definitely goes way harder. Money on the floor, Vette pass by, Bricks, In my black tee, My kitchen…I mean Guwop only drops 🔥
I was wondering that too but I have been caught out losing sunlight tryna finish something I stared with the lawn. Also, crackheads don’t care what time it is, they will definitely cut grass at night for some money.
Everyone gets the origin story wrong: AGAIN ! Gucci was already in Jeezy’s studio sessions. He did not one but “two” songs with Gucci for his album. Icy and Black Tee (Remix). After the songs came out, Jeezy helped out paying for the video for the song as well as performing the song. Jeezy got a voice box injury and was in the hospital in the middle of 2005. Gucci calling him to perform but had other people talking to him for him. Also Black Magik and the Big Cat niggas was talking shit about bruh. This is EXACTLY what caused Gucci to start the beef. Def Jam did want the song to be included, but Jeezy declined it, reminding them it wasn’t his song. Gucci released the song Round #1 with Black Magik, followed by Mini 14 with Black Magik when there wasn’t a response. One Jeezy was able to heal, he got his affairs in order and released the freestyle Stay Strapped in response to the disses. Black Magik released a tape with numerous disses to Jeezy (the freestyle Fuck da Snowman is on YT right now). The bounty had the whole Atlanta involved with Gucci having to be rushed out of the clubs, his DJ at the time was Supastar Jay Quick and he vouched for this. Then Bleu DaVinci plays both sides of the beef, with Jeezy being unaware and has Gucci set up. The rest is history. Another thing Jeezy disses Bleu more often then he disses Gucci. Gucci was collateral damage as Bleu wanted Jeezy removed from being apart of BMF even tho he was already locked in.
Bro give us shit that isnt endlessly saturated about this story. Heard it at least 100 times. Gimme that new deep down undergeound, but notorious shiiiit
Gucci was played all through the hood I only heard jeezy in the clubs but it’s funny how y’all try to downplay gucci because of what he said, what real street nigga gone be cool with a nigga that tried to set him up 🤦🏾♂️
My guy Cap know what's up!! Re-hash of a re-hash. I will give him props for speaking on how they cleared out the city for the Olympics (well not in those words).
They didn't accept the Voucher's because They didn't want Their Property Value to fall of the Map. Moving People from the Projects to a better Area isn't going to change Who They are and what They do...
I think I'm completely biased but I'm from Oakland California. Anything Bay related or even on the outskirts I'm all for. Anything California based. However, I ain't ever mad at getting to know about other hoods. Getting to know about ATL, houston, chicago, etc. I'm always game.
Bro he 100% isnt Rodrick Davis. Bro Gucci is dead. Might not be a clone but its a imposter. Most likely its Hopsin. Bro Gucci was like 6'5". When he got out he lost 5 inches?
@@KenKaniff-dw4jwman what use would the government have for some damn gucci mane, gotta be the most useless rapper to clone. Kanye West, Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, I could buy, GUCCI? GTFO outta here man 😂
First of all can we take the time out to RESPECT the extensive research and post production editing this man takes to make these videos! Put some respect on him name! Good job bro, for real.
@@SoundsGoodNature put your big boy pants on homie. Everyone out here profiting off of anything and everything. Gotta give credit to the ones that actually put in the work to get this detailed. If you have that big of an issue with it, you're simply upset he's doing what you can't. PERIOD!
@@ecoyamajapan that's the equivalent of a slave owner saying "get over it everyone else is doing it". Doesn't make it right, and it doesn't mean I have to respect what he does.
Jeezy had a big impact on the beginnings of trap Gucci came and took it to new heights. Plus a real murder case of you protecting yourself .. made him legit in the streets.
@@YoungBallinClick559 You gotta be joking man. Jeezy literally dropped the first mixtape to go national. Gucci never has and never will drop a mixtape or even an album to compete with Trap Or Die.
Tight video Hey can you do a video on charleston sc? Or like the area?(charleston, north charleston and west ashley) also can you look in to there local rappers Pachino Dino, Marly Mar and Killa Skip? There's swaps down there btw
Talk about why Jeezy is no longer welcomed in Oakland due to the incident that happened at an after party in Oakland where a man lost his life then jeezy was locked up for about a week out here in the town. Deeper than rap. Check into it.
@Zuza Cherizier no it's not lol. San Jose is. The bay area has many other cities he can go and perform. Oakland aint one. Iykyk. Clearly you aint tapped in.
9:45 "but let's be honest no one in the South wants to listen to E-40." R u serious bro?? One of E-40's biggest markets is the South, that's why Lil Jon signed him to his label for a little while in the early 2000s. The South messes with E-40's music heavy, and in the Bay we also mess with the South heavy, especially ATL, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Houston, to name a few!
Yup that shows u how much he knows what he talking about lol he makes good videos but it’s not just the small details he gets major shit wrong that anyone half way in the culture would kno

The streets are cold an unforgiving, full of people that have done the unforgivable. Stay away, the term slippery slope has become a cliche metaphor that gets thrown around and in turn is no longer taken seriously rather than being used correctly and delivering the message it was originally intended to, a slippery slope is not to be walked upon but rather avoided entirely, because it's not one wrong step that causes you to fall, it's stepping at all. As soon as you shift your weight to your front foot (decide to step onto the slope and trifle with things not to be trifled with) whether or not you'll slip is no longer a question. Do not play among fire because fire does not burn you, you burn in the fire. Stay away. Wether it's the streets, drugs, vices of any kind or things you know you're vulnerable to falling to just stay away.
