I am so very excited to try this foundation. I am 64 years old and just started wearing foundation probably 3 or 4 years ago! All my adult life I just used blush. This is the prettiest foundation you have tested in a while Tania! It sat so nicely on your skin, that finish was truly perfection 🤩 I have the older Guerlain gold radiant matte foundation and think it is very similar to this, I’ll have to give this new one a try to compare. This foundation looks stunning on you! I used a older Guerlain foundation many years ago that was beautiful too. It’s a lil bit harder with finding a shade back then. So hopefully they have more shade range now.

I think the foundation looked perfect!! I actually liked the lip liner as well, the color was phenomenal, especially paired with the Natasha Denona lip products. The last lip color wasn’t my favorite but it did look nourishing.. you are really showing us some gems lately!

Thanks for another great review Tania. This is a beautiful foundation! 😍 I am impressed by how long it lasts and how it played so nicely with your dry areas. There might be hope that it would be kind to my mature, dry skin. It's expensive but it wouldn't be my every day go to. If I wait for the sale and use reward points to get $10 off, that will make it more reasonable.

Great review, and thank you for all the check-ins in natural light,…really appreciate that! It looks beautiful on you. I’m also curious what you might think of the Guerlain Parure Gold Matte foundation that was released a few months ago. Let us know if you decide to try it! Natural/matte foundations seem to be what I need because the glowy ones tend to emphasize my texture & fine lines. So I’m looking for a matte or natural-matte that isn’t too heavy or doesn’t gather in fine lines. Thanks for your hard work, your passion shines through in your videos 💕

I've enjoyed the Guerlain L'Essentiel foundation for some time, it's a light/light medium and typically - it's discontinued. THIS foundation looks amazing on you and the longevity is beyond incredible!!! I don't appreciate the level of oxidisation though, why can't they just make it in the true, final shade? I'm glad you mentioned the TF Traceless foundation - this one definitely reminded me of it but I think this lasts much longer. Gorgeous 😍 As for the tretinoin, you might benefit from reducing the strength or "diluting" it with your moisturiser. That way, you'll reap the effects without the extreme dryness/peeling. Peeling is totally unnecessary and (I've learned) that it's due to an adverse reaction which can damage the skin barrier. Love you loads ❤⭐❤⭐❤ PS : Sorry I've been awol, I've had/still got a mega sinus infection 😫

Hi! Same here! I used the Guerlain L'Essentiel. I switched to this Terracotta's thinking it was a "new" version of L'Essentiel, but it has nothing to do with it and I just hate it on my skin... Any idea/advices of similar foundation to L'Essentiel's to switch to?

This foundation sounds right up my alley!! Guerlain foundations have been very hit or miss for me over the years. They do discontinue stuff/reformulated often. Would you say it’s similar to Makeup Forever HD/Lisa Eldridge at all? Definitely curious to try this now.

I’ve been using tretinoin for awhile and what helps with my dry flaky skin is using a facial oil. I personally like the one by olehenrikson and gisou!

This REALLY, REALLY looks Absoluuutly Beautiful..probably My next. Always looking for this natural/matte slightly luminous foundation. I think it looks like A Miracle for Me !! I am so excited to try it....and the only thing ive ordered since was the MUFE hd which i love but this looks even better. I did try the Mario but returned it cause it was just a no way for me. I am not sure honestly. I can see it go both ways.. i have some fine lines around my mouth and it settle very little ( kind of like any foundations) so that’s the only thing I can compare it to.

Weird the guerlan is matching me to a neutral beige when I’m a cool/rose hmmm…..I was just saying how foundations are all over the map these days, like NARS matching me to a warm undertone WEIRD but yeah so maybe I will go with the neutral just not sure…. I do not want to turn green lmao ,) Also 3.5 appears a tad dark !! I’m torn between 3C, and the shade it matched me at being 3.5N

3.5n is pretty yellow so I recommend you go in store to swatch…

Yes! It’s less coverage and feels a bit lighter on the skin! But the texture and how it sits on the skin is similar!

Slightly glowy skin is a sign of healthy youthful skin….matte skin is never good especially up close…so hopefully some glow develops..because no one looks good up close girls completely matte
