I agree. But I wish he'd have something focused on what many consider to be the most charismatic and biggest man in the world. I am of course talking about Gilbert Gottfried
Crazy that the Rock still had hair back when he was cast as Black Adam and not only that but it was the same strange tiny haircut that Black Adam usually has,
Maybe that's why it took so long to get made. They cast him because he was the perfect fit, then he went bald and they were like 'oh no he doesn't fit the character anymore! what are we going to do?' then eventually they just realised he's such a massive star it doesn't matter and they can make it anyway.
Mason, which Dwayne "The Rock'd" Johnson movie's poster went viral and started the whole Black Adam hype in the first place? I'll give you a hint mate, it's not Joker.
I actually agree with that comment about him being a better actor before going full bald. I think he used to try harder to play actual characters. I really like his performance in Get Smart.
Agreed. I love him in Pain & Gain. He’s such a pompous lunatic. I think Hercules was like the middle period, where he was bald but had a wig. So he still has a bit of a character. This makes me worried about Black Adam, since I don’t know if stone-faced era The Rock can play a compelling anti-hero.
I would love it if Mason himself starts writing insane reviews on letterboxd under a pseudo-name just to catch James's eye to include in one of these videos and when the review is read Mason correctly guesses the incredibly difficult answer to James's utter shock. Now that would be a long-con.
This is going to be especially hard considering the Rock plays the same character in every film and all of those films are also basically just the same film.
I did not hate The Tooth Fairy. It was a goofy movie that Hulk Hogan might have done, but somehow it worked. This The Rock person is very talented. He’s going places.
ok, we need one where Either Mason finds the reviews OR ALTERNATIVELY Ben or Lawrence finds the reviews then James and Mason go head-to-head to see who the best is
Welcome to the Jungle is one of his better movies IMO 😂and potentially even Game Plan because he basically just needed to be the Rock in that and he’s been doing that in every movie since 3:36 yess Maso, I was gonna say tho what’s the Rundown but yeah it’s his best movie
You should make a video about which actors should join the mcu and who they should play. But you gotta start with the actors and work your way from there. For example Jim Carrey but what character would suit him??
Have you done the Halloween franchise? You should do that for Halloween! Especially because I'm fairly confident Mason's not familiar with all the movies and the less he gives a shit about the topic, the funnier these are
When will The Rock finally work with some great directors & scripts and actually challenge himself like Bautista has for example?! You'd think at some point as a performer you'd want to make a number of movies that are considered huge critical & career defining hits!
0:38 I can't tell if that was a mistake with the editing or not, but I find it funny that they used the Asylum Entertainment game company logo instead of the Film Company one. Honestly they're both just as cursed when it comes to what they produce.
I'm going to guess along Doing this in real time 1. Skyscraper 2. San Andreas 3. rampage 4. The rundown 5. That Ryan Reynolds one 6. Tooth fairy 7. be cool 8.the marky mark one body builder heist 9. Jumanji 2 keep jumaniing 15. Gran Torino?
I actually tied with Mason since he was more familiar with a couple movies, but I did get him on Tooth fairy and Joker. Though I would have beaten him if I wasn't too busy watching Red Notice
Dwane "The Rock" Johnson was in an episode of Star Trek Voyager called "Tsunkatse", and the original script for that episode was named "Blue Harvest". The more you know!
You could tell Mason is thinking of all the horrible ways he can kill or humiliate James whenever he compliments him. I can feel his anger and wrath boiling underneath, lmfao.
Also, the rock is bald AND he shaves his head imo. Dudes on such powerful cycles of HRT and shit now, and his hairline was already laughably high. If he grew his hair out now he’d REALLY look his age and he can’t have that
San Andreas was film on the Gold coast I actually bought the blue over grey f150 from the film. So the rock sat in and drove my car 🤣🤣🤣. Sold it since but that bit of info got me a few more thousand out of the guy who bought it 🤣🤣. Was a huge rock fan and as soon as I mentioned it was in San Andreas and the rock drove it he flipped out. Bought it the next day
I remember playing Rampage as a kid. Even back then I thought if they don't make this basic as basic can be game into a blockbuster film starring a former wrestler then something is very wrong with the world.
Ahhh yes 😂 I fucking love this already justtttt of the title alone and I haven’t even watched a second yet! Let’s go boys I need some savage reviews mixed with your on point humour to brighten up my day
