TheViper is the most wholesome goat ever, and Hera is following his footsteps. Love the AoE2 community.

This is one great point for Hera joining GL. Not even the competitive aspect, but strengthen the community aspect where an AoE content creator and player certainly can use all the support he gets to keep it sustainable.

Great idea, video and edits! ❤ My additions: Spread the ELO points a little (within 500, 300, 200, 100 and 50 for 1-10 points. Option of the players ressources as screenshot (without VIL info) for only half the points. Bonus point for picking the actual winner of the game. 😊

Excellent video. I hope we see this regularly. Some suggestions for next time: would be interesting to know their civ predictions were accurate ie include civs in the reveal; it would be cool to see what the build they were doing and who won in the end ie a quick fast forward through the game at the reveal; longer clips would have been nice too

This is great! I might also suggest taking one still frame at a random point in the game so you can both see everything, map, number of vils on each resource, units on the map etc (just no movement of anything)

Video was very enjoyable! I appreciate the discussions to determine ELO, but maybe it as a competition of sorts might make it a bit more interesting. Sort of like a counter for how far off the ELO was on each guess perhaps. Like 5 clips and whoever had the fewest accumulated points of difference off the ELOs would win sort of thing. How to balance that with the great analysis and discussions is tricky however. hmm. Perhaps if it is to be cooperative have a set target goal for both in difference (like arbitrarily 1000 points) and have them work together to try to get under that for all differences totaled. Or, if this is to be a series that stays around, perhaps just have a running 'best' total, and see if they can get as close to a 'zero difference' in ELO as possible. If different guests appear to guess along side Viper, it could be like a friendly competition to see which pair gets closest to perfectly guessing 0 difference as well.

The music is an absolute bop. Is that from anything or custom made for this video?

You could do it where Viper guesses one player's elo and Hera guesses the other player's elo from the clip, that way the competition aspect makes more sense

The 3rd one they clearly underestimated. Poor mining camp or not, there was a building wall. You don't get those at 600ELO. The rest I was pretty well in line with the pros, and got 3 pts total.

Fun series! And great edits as always. It would help me to have a "+x points" after the elo reveal to highlight how many they got from the most recent round vs the total score.

14 points for me - that Daut vs MbL one threw me also off completely, that could've been anything from 1600-2200 imo. the opening with the forward archery range indicated something lower to me. clip1: 1850 -> 2 points clip2: 1595 -> 2 points clip3: 950 -> 5 points clip4: 1720 -> 0 points clip5: 1250 -> 5 points Both Hera and Viper have too little idea how those lower players play and what their strengths and thinking are.

Love this new video idea, next time you should do a "Versus" Tatoh or DauT or T90 instead of "together" to make it a little competitive if you both disagree (of course still discuss what's happening, it's all fun).

This one was not as hard as the hera channel video, but there were still some big surprises. 1750, 1400, 1100, 1600, 1150 were my guesses :) Laughed my ass of at the MBL/Daut game

The only one where I immediately had a much better idea than the pros was the 1270s. Those guys looked slightly better than me. Being able to control multiple armies at once is really difficult for me, but their play-style looked similar to what I would do. The were pretty much playing it the same as I would, but with better multitasking.

G1: 1750 (5pts) G2: 1615 (2 pts) G3: 900 (5 pts) G4: 2100 (looks like some Survivalist strat - for both blue and red) G5: 1525 (no stand ground on archers was somewhat a giveaway it was lower)

The arena game with mining camp game 3 I guess, this is well known at 900 elo, lower than that there is no reason to do so, because no one lower than 900 castle drop on arena, so they create a meta to wall inside the walls like that

This is a very good content, just a small hint for you , when you see more than 10 archers, it can not be below 1000 elo. Basically no one play archers in low elo. 11

Clip 3 was correct guessed. We do not know how many games these 2 played so remember everyone starts with 1000 elo first.. they will get to 600 soon

Final score for me: 9. I think it's a lot easier for a player like me just climbing up from 12+ to 16 these two years.

its interesting to me that all my guesses where very close, except for the daut vs mbl. Looks like the game is madness and crazy when below 800 elo, then starts to be meta until 2k, and then it becomes madness and crazy again for the pros

800-1k is the weirdest ELO. You might get an 800 who is pretty decent, but needs to work on builds. Then you'll get a 950 and you question whether they've touched a mouse and keyboard before or if they've even been there for half the match. Teams turns this up max.

Feeling like the scoring system here is way too draconian. There should be some reward for even landing in the right 500elo segment. Either that, or more clips per guess to see more of what's going on. The latter is obviously more prep/edit work, but I think that would make the challenge better.

This is super hard, im way off, and last clip is my elo, and i had them at 900-1k

I did some points just because i was looking the 1270 elo and thinking that those guys are good and the 900 thinking: well, they play like me.

I got four points overall. I guessed the MBL vs Daut game as 1380 though… I feel like I’ve seen micro like that down at my elo. Apparently I’m very wrong…

Think they should be guessing different numbers if they feel so strongly about it. Like the Arena one Viper clearly thought it was higher and would've been correct lol.
