@@Peytonh17 so we can go together in the lift to buy polyethelene to build our fake plastic watering can for our pretty garden in our pretty (glass) house while we sing pyramid songs and cut the kids in half and take the furniture of eachother? and have nice dreams about we kissing eachother and then navigate the seaworld without elec(toengineering)trocuting us all? and then go to the beach while the sea starts to turn into ice because theres an ice age coming ice age coming and we cant hear both sides so we crumble inside a cave out of desperation and chant that this isnt happening and that were not here but that our true love will last in lollipops and crisps and that we wont leave each other? so fucking romantical!
dude if i met a guy irl that listened to them wed be ############################################################################################################################################### Huh? What?
Lo peor es que al saber que es The Bends sí se nota que es The Bends. Supongo que simplemente la mayoría escuchamos más seguido High and dry que The Bends
Other way around for me, I only know the bends What's a good album to move on to from the bends? I really like it's tone, style everything, in my head right now nothing will overtake it
same lol didnt know a single pablo honey or the bends even tho i fw the bends only tracks i really litsen to often on there is planet telex,, nice dream, bullet proof, fade out , and black star lol
it's interesting how the drum sounds change markedly post-The Bends and even moreso post-OK Computer. the first two records had really big rock 'n' roll drum sounds, but from then on it's far less reverb and far less fewer cymbal sounds
His drumming is incredibly distinct in each song that it actually makes him a far easier drummer to guess in this type of quiz. Always something new, rarely any rehash.
I had the worst dream last night. For some reason Radiohead was giving a press conference informing everyone that Thom had a terminal illness. He was sitting on the steps in front of everyone defeated while Ed broke the news. It felt extremely real. Without telling my wife anything she told me I was snoring and had a single tear falling from my eye 😂 wtffffffff I need help LMFAO
While I couldn’t get the song sometimes(don’t play drums ig) I got the album correct every time which goes to show how distinct and diverse their instrumental is.
3:48 YOO I GUESED RIGHT also wow when i was liek is this anyone can play guitar the text on the screen came and went like 'yeah its anyone can play guitar\ like its answering me haha
I found that super tough, I got all the tracks where the drum part plays separately at the start at least. It hurts to miss songs that I love so much though 🥲
Weird Fishes, Reckoner and Separator are defined by their drums The fuzzy sound in the background of Burn the Witch instantly gave it away lol. Nothing else in their discography sounds anything like that. I did way worse than I thought I would
I failed on all of their more traditional indie rock songs. I guessed Creep wrong. The Bends I guessed as being High and Dry. And I also failed on guessing Fake Plastic Trees.. And also Polyethylene. But that is simply because I don't know that song. Have never listened to it
I failed every song from the Post grunge era 1993-1995 (IMO Radiohead's least interesting period, when they were just one band among many other bands), but I passed the rest :)
missed the bends, polyethlene, separator (its so unique i really need to listen to tkol more often), anyone can play guitar (ive listened to pablo honey only once ever years ago), and somehow didn't get fake plastic trees damn.5/10 is ok tho
