Great to hear Brahms. Easily my favourite of his four. But a meager 4 out of 15 in this quiz. But still learning a lot. These videos are both relaxing and challenging.

6/15 Composer and number, another 3 only the composer… Proud i guessed Myaskovsky correctly 😄

I'm suprised that I got Tchaikovsky's right just because it makes me think of his “Romeo and Juliet” Fantasy Overture😮😆 and Beethoven's was a bit tricky, I'm glad that I recognized the melody just in time😆 and for Symphony No.10....I did guess it might be Hyden's, but it wasn't THE Hyden I know lol😂

By the way, without giving it away for those who do not know the piece: The symphony from the intro is perfect for the "Find the wrong piece" quiz. You can people fool so easily with it, it's delightful. As for the Quiz 9.5. Would have been 10 if I hadn't picked the wrong number. And I'm so proud I knew the Miaskovsky this time. These are so deliciously difficult.

I did a lot better than I thought I would. I got Scriabin, Brahms, Beethoven, Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky, Bruckner, Haydn, and Mozart. I totally guessed on Haydn and Prokofiev though. 😂

Eight correct entirely. Didn't have a clue about the rest if I'm honest. A couple of composers I'd never even heard of!

7/15 composers, 5/15 numbers (missed the Haydns). Brahms/Tchaik/Beethoven were easy, and Mozart was the logical choice at that point. I'm a little stunned I got the Prokofiev number. Kicking myself for missing Bruckner and Mahler

6.5/15. 5 answers completely correct, 2 composers/wrong number , 1 correct number/no idea about composer (not sure this deserves 1/2 point, but I'm taking it). Bit disappointed I didn't recognise Q12 as I love this work - I should have Lisztened more carefully...

That was very tricky! I got four completely right (one by a pure guess!) and two others I got the composer but not the number.

Oh, you kill me... I think I got a grand total of 5 or 6 right. Someone's going to take away my music degree!

I got Beethoven's 3rd (the easiest one), Mozart, Joseph Haydn, Shostakovitch and I can't believe that I took Mahler's 6th for the 7th.

This was definitely hard, 4/15. It would be nice to see Nielsen Symphony 1 on this some time

Again 😂 ... Just four Beethoven and Mozart were clear, and Haydns were just educated guesses of the composer (or the name Haydn 😂) And the few others (Mahler, Brahms, the Russians) after you named them, "yes, sounds like")

Got Prokofiev, Shosty, Mahler, Mozart, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky

I guess I do not care for any composer who numbered a symphony higher than 9 . . . except for Mozart's final two.

Только в начале этого кусочка я подумала, что это наверное будет какой-нибудь Моцарт, потому что звучит по-классически, а оба Гайдна уже были) но тут в процессе что-то слушаю, и моя мышечная память вспоминает знакомый мотив "ударов". И в последний момент вспомнила, что это Бетховен, даже смешно стало) 6 Малера стала приятным подарком! сначала думала, что будет что-то сложное, а потом начинаю слушать и понимаю, что тут не надо будет гадать ни над стилем, ни над чем бы то ни было, это ж 3 часть 6 симфонии (ну или 2, зависит от исполнителя) а Шостакович кстати угадывается по анаграмме (если я ничего не путаю, правда здесь она была не от d)

Way too hard for me. I knew it was Shostakovich, but was off by 1 number.
