New grad ICU nurse in AZ and our crisis nurses just arrived because we opened 3 more ICU units this week for COIVD patients. Its real out here, I still don't understand why people not wearing mask then again they don't see what we do in the ICU.
Whatever you do don’t go with ANM. I was sick with covid and they didn’t pay me saying it was a personal exposure .! I was messed up , I had literally every symptom then was out for 3 weeks . Then the day I went back sent me straight to covid ICU. I’m so fed up with them. I can’t wait until this contract is over . Stay safe sister .!!
Listening to you cough like that literally made me shed a tear. Although you were negative I know mentally after you were exposed is turmoil. Praying for you but You're brave and 💪🏾. God has you💗
I know its a serious topic but gurl you had me rollin when you said I need a new mask a new throat a new nose! I felt your pain though that test is no joke. Im glad it was negative and you are okay now! Happy Belated bday by the way!
Hey lady hope you feel better now. So there's one crisis company who does the 21d in a row but the other company doesn't require that. Now bcfs is trying to change the 21d thing and have them work 6 on 1 off schedules. I don't even understand how working 21d is even safe. I'm thinking of doing Texas crisis so I signed up for deployment.
I had a false negative.. If possible get a antibody test. I did and I showed IgG that I had actually been exposed. Just to have peace of mind. It reassuring knowing I wasn't crazy!
Girl order you one of those envo masks and the filters. That’s what I got and I’m waiting for it to come back cause I don’t trust these hospital masks & re-using them
I was looking too Jasmine.... wondering if that charter bus was gon let you over! I went and got tested too I was having body aches, chill, and fatigued...still waiting on the results. The test was rouuugghhhh 😭 brought tears to my eyes! Here in GA the results still take 7-10 days and I can’t go back to work until I’m cleared!
girl we was like nah sis you gotta wait. LOL. I cant believe they are still making yall wait so long. i hope you get better and your results are negative
Blk Barbie a nurse who works for an agency and usually floats throughout the hospital in their specialty. I dont know how other specialities do it. But for ICU my agency require you to have at least a year of icu or Er experience and must have worked in the last 6 months. Maybe you can be a medsurg nurse can be agency out the gate. Our agency doesn’t allow orientations you literally show up and work
