Hello Julie. I love the blue and white cups. My husband said, " The vest looks "Lindo" (pretty.)" Last week I went to the Thrift store, and I did not find anything I like. Today my husband wanted to take me to a Thrift store that have pretty items at affordable prices. I was too tired after eating at Wendys. We then went to the newest Aldi. Today is the 2nd time we shop there. I ask my husband for the debit card to pay, and our daughter said, "Is okay I'm going to pay." She pay $63.21. She also pays for her new phone and our lines. I told her to pay it in 2 payments during the month. She gets pay every week. I also told her to save in her savings account and buy something for herself. Today she bought a pair of CONVERSE for $64.99 on sale in her favorite color. She is in college and also works part time. We love her so much. Blessings.💖💞💖🥰

I saw on another thrifters video where they used the wash board as a magnet board. In the kitchen you could use it with magnets to hold favorite recipes. You got so lucky finding the 3rd cup

I have an old washboard top of my wood stove. It also has hooks. I hang vintage pot holders and dish towels sometimes. Right now it's propped up with nothing on it with my old tea kettle and some enamelware pots and pans in front of it. I use to hang my antique 100 year old spoons from it. Miniature rolling pins would also look pretty. I put a Gingerbread Tree at Christmas right in front of it, and the lights reflect so pretty. I would have went broke in that store with nowhere to put it when I got home. Glad the cup was still there for you. I told my husband yesterday it's not too soon to put Christmas out. lol My Daughter always ask me to leave that Gingerbread tree out all year...she says Mama, it works well with all your vintage pie plates and pans. I have one tree up in a spare dining room all year...I may just leave it up, who knows. I Christmas shop all year, might as well leave another tree up. Most of my Christmas is wrapped in a closet. I just can't help myself. I find it, wrap it, and put it away. Makes for an easy, relaxed, Christmas. Thanks for taking us along.

Good morning! When you ask if we enjoy thrifting. I always say, "Yes!!!" However after my husband's recent death, my finances have changed and I am on a strict budget....as in buying nothing but groceries and paying the monthly bills. Not complaining, just explaining. So. When I want to go shopping for different decor, I put on my most comfortable shoes, grab my biggest shopping bag and off I go to the other rooms and shop boxes that are full of forgotten treasures. Maybe not the same exactly, but it works for me now. Have a blessed day.

Hi Julie. Yes, I remember when you found the box with the Santa's from around the world. I thought that was so unique. The little Mystery wooden shelf might hold porcelain thimbles. The scrub board is adorable. Little wooden measuring spoons would be cute or pot handle covers. Also you might even put a few magnets on the metal part. Its perfect right where your planning to put it. What a great idea to use that tray in your pantry for your assorted oils. And I think your family portrait will look beautiful in that wooden frame. That was a score! You can't find quality wooden frames like that anymore. It seems everything is going to cheap looking wood. That is an heirloom piece for sure. You could even put a mirror in it! Just beautiful! Well, my sweet friend, I am still praying for rain and cooler temps. This has sure been a summer for setting records and finding out how blest we are to have air conditioning. Some of the schools up north like Virginia have had to close the schools because they don't have air conditioning. I remember my husband and I visiting a gift shop at the Natural Bridge in Vermont and the kids were out of school for a heat day. It was 80 degrees and they didn't have air conditioners. Too hot for school. Lord, don't let them come to Texas! Lol! I hope yall have a wonderful weekend and thank you Julie, for another great video! ❤

I have chickens and cows in my kitchen.I wish I could get that cast on fine Pam with the impression of the 3 dimensional cow sticking up in it.I would love that I would have painted the cow and put the background like a blue and a sky in the grass.I could have done a beautiful job with that.I wish I was there to be able to get that with you

I use a similar tray for my cooking oils also. Helps keep the counter clean. I use a paper towel folded to absorb the oil between cleanings. I love trays for easy use and organizing. I use one at my sink for soap and scrubbers. In my bath for soap and lotions.

I believe it is a thimble holder. My Mom used to collect thimbles from quilt shows and stores.

I have a washboard I hang in my kitchen as well. I use magnets on the metal part to hold recipes I want to make. So cute. Such a good find for you.

Also love the oval frame, the little blue pitcher at 3:21, the cabinet at 3:41, and the little basket at 5:30. My tastes are half goth/half boho lol. That is a soup terine. I had a set of dishes just like that pattern given to me for Christmas 1975. It was purchased from Sears.

Love everything you bought. The wash/rub board is great. It will look so cute with measuring spoons. You could add only 2 well placed hooks at bottom for potholders. Just a thought. Hubby recently brought in a truck load of stuff from a neighbor who was moving. In it was an old glass wash board. It is beautiful! It's too old & precious to put hooks in it. It's hanging around the kitchen now. Thinking of putting it in guest bathroom that is done up in old farmhouse style. Thanks for taking us with you. I hafta drive over an hour to my closest Goodwill. A chamber pot would have only one handle; this is a covered baking dish or a soup tureen.

That "chamber pot" is actually a piece that goes with the Petite Flora dinnerware set. I just sold a partial set of it at my yard sale this past weekend. I think it is a soup tureen, but can't be sure. Love your video's and how you style your finds.

The shelf was for lady thimbles from Avon. Each thimble/lady was from a different era starting with Victorian. They were very pretty.
