Second concern really make me feel sad but I kind of understand them. His father doesn't know how to show his affection in a right way since he lost his parent in a young age. His son doesn't receive enough love so he drink and smoke for fun to ecape reality. Im sure he still love his father and sister. I really hope they change.

Second concern makes me think that they only need to hear sorry from each other. A real apology. Dad for traumatizing his son with the slap and the son for being unfair to (and blocking out real communication with) his dad. 😔 for me, genuine apology is the true test of emotional maturity and growth of an individual.

I’ve never cried after one concern and then smiled because of the next one, this episode will have me walking away with a re-lit sentiment. Though I came for The Boyz and other guests at times, Hello Counselor and their hosts has always tried to be understanding and nice and I really appreciate the purpose of the show and end up enjoying everything. I don’t intend to get deep but I recently learned that in order to care for our deteriorating natural environment, we need to address social issues first and resolve things between us humans in order to work together - thus this show makes me happy that they’re doing that little by little. I hope that each of us can be rational and caring counselors on our own too ^^

The second concern i understand from both the son and the father,since i am also similar to the son(not that i drink or do anything illegal,but i started to distant myself from my father and act the same as how the son acts too.)

I literally broke down at the second concern. Yeongja knows when to tease and when to discipline, that's what makes her a great person. When the father cried because his son said I love you and said his son never tells I love you to him, I cried as well as I realized I never tell my mother I love you. I tell my father I love you sometimes since he worked abroad, but rarely to my mother. That made me realize what a horrible person I was and I can't promise that I'll say I love you to her more but I'm glad I realized the way I live so horribly. She goes outside for us during quarantine and buy us food and she also works out cause she claims she's fat. I sometimes think she's annoying cause she nags and gets mad all the time but that's just because she was stressed and I can't imagine how much she's sacrificed for us.

The son in the second concern was undoubtedly in the wrong, but his dad isn't entirely innocent either. I understand he wanted to fill the gap left by their mother with materialistic support but letting your kid do something illegal 'in your presence' doesn't make sense at all. Either way they need to go talk to a professional because they have a serious problem on their hands. Is it not illegal in Korea for adults to supply minors with alcohol and cigarettes?

He is a single parent he has tons of other things to worry about he can't look after his son all day so its very normal for him to feel guilty and and provide him with materialistic things. Also he's not encouraging his son to drink he just doesn't want his son to cause trouble, he even beat him when he drank for the first time but since his son is using it as an excuse that caused him trauma so he refrains from hitting him and has no other choice. I don't think he's a bad dad he tried his best to do everything a normal dad would do for his son. His son is spoiled to the point that it'll be hard to make amends both for the son and his dad. But I don't think its the son's fault either. We don't know what he has gone through when his father wasn't home. He must have made bad friends and since his dad was busy working he got freedom at such young age. Anyone would easily be affected. Nevertheless, he seems to genuinely care and feel bad for for his father and i think he wants to change too but he's helpless. They're both helpless. Honestly i feel bad for both of them. The dad did everything he could do provide him with financial support the only thing they lacked is the mother backing him up with the emotional support, tell thier kids what is wrong what is right. Its the mother who didn't do her duty. I think if the mother hadn't left them he wouldn't have turned that way. She is the only one at fault tbh. How could she leave her own son no matter the circumstances, i don't understand, seriously its the worst.

the second concern really hit hard for me, you can tell that this isn't any one persons fault - it's just happened to be that way over time and thats the most heartbreaking like the kid isnt a bad kid he's just ended up in these circumstances and has a strong defence mechanism, you can tell he has grown apart from his dad especially as his dad is working so hard, i feel like he's pretty mature for his age in one way but hes still only 17 so he still lacks maturity in another way - like hes been forced to grow too fast and isnt sure whats right and wrong i feel like this concern is one of the hardest to watch out of all the episodes i've seen. I can see the legitimacy of this concern and im glad theyre able to talk it out even if theres no direct solution i wish them the best of luck and hope for a brighter future for the whole family

The second concern was so sad..I can only imagine what it must have been like for the father to pick his drunk son up; it's understandable he felt he needed to slap him back to his senses, even though that was definitely not the right way The son seems like such a genuinely nice person but I'm really afraid that his drinking and smoking habits have turned into an addiction. I really wish he'll be able to cut down on it on his own and if not, get treatment. It is so common I feel for families to be so disfunctional; nothing is worse than lack of communication within a family, it saddens me so much. I hope the father could take out of this that his children love and appreciate him for him and not for the money he gives them and that he will spend less time at work; I can see that they love each other a lot and hope that the son will from now on show his love to his father more. I think that the slap must have been a very traumatic experience, it seems that it was the first time his father had raised a hand against him and that extreme too, considering that he couldn't properly hear for a while and not to forget that his friends teased him for that for a while, stuff like that is hard to forget. I hope the son could realize that day how much his father loves him and his sister and that he regrets having mistreaten him. I hope the three of them will be able to work on their relationship, I wish them the best!

So grateful you’re still uploading this show🙏 It’s so entertaining (Sure, there have been some angering problematic occurrences but at the end of the day you have to consider the culture in which they were brought up, then you can more easily understand why things are dealt with in certain ways).

The 3rd concern, seriously he has good friends. His friend who sent the concern is probably maybe the last one to stand beside him and try to glue and bond the group together. All another 2 friends who sat next to him is very kind too. Even though they got affect on what he did. They seem to be okay to be still keep the friendship and try to fix him rather than leave him. Leaving him is easier tho. But they are kind to stick together. I hope the 3rd concern guy fixs his habit. He is handsome tho, he looks like he will be very charming in a club and the way he talks is really kind. I hope he finds the one.

This episode is really making me feel all kinds of emotions, the first one was so frustrating, d mother seriously,double standards, d second one, so heartbreaking. When yeongja n chaeyeon spoke, I cried. N when d son maybe for d first time said I love u to his father, n he smiled for d first time after he came n he cried. I cried with him too.d last one. I found it amusing

The second one was a real concern! I wonder how these people with serious problems are so brave to come on national tv but i definitely think the hosts help them a lot. Though it’s quite comedic, it’s also a real situation they’re going through which breaks my heart. I hope the mum has become less controlling and strict on her daughter, I hope the teenage boy is a better son to his dad and a better brother to his sister and I hope the last man found true love (though I believe his issue isn’t a serious concern but it is quite annoying). Alsoo, younghoon and sungyeon are so handsome here 😍

The 2nd concern made me cry...It's a fact that's it's hard to be a single parent alone now he also has a drunk son who is underage and smokes a whole packet of cigarettes a day and them having no proper communication at all within the family of 3 is really heartbreaking...That father is working hard to earn money for his kids but it feels like his son is not getting that and keeps on doing things that is basically killing himself everyday...I wish they would take him to a doctor or like a center to diagnose that hand tremor see if it's really not because of him drinking daily and look for a solution to a least decrease his consumption...His eyes looks super tired and red and I don't why but I feel he might also be taking some other stuffs...I hope someone would really help get out of this ....

I have friends who were controlled, in fact I have very strict parents and yes she will explode at some point. Omd that first concern was so frustrating to watch. It was legit like talking to a wall, I'm very grateful for that moment to calm down that the show gave lol I support your declaration Hyeongji,,, fight back!

The second issue is actually much more complex, it seems like the audiences easily sided with dad. But the son is actually in pain too. They're broken inside, they know it but don't want to acknowledge it. The kid is having addiction, you can't just tell him to quit and he'll quit. He's also at the age of puberty. He needs guidance and protection, but sadly the family isn't whole. Dad is having too much responsibility. Dad is doing the best that he can. It's just sad that things happened to them.

Tbh I can relate with the first concern of that girl...I'm also going to be 20 this year but I get restricted a lot of things...She has a curfew till night well I don't even have one in the sense I'm not allowed to hang out around with my friends too often and if I do it has to be during the day only and within 2-3 hours max and oh my dad has to drop me personally at the location and make sure he sees my friends and then pick me up after...and I can't go out more than 2 times during a year cause ..and just like her mum throws them reasons why she should not be out well I get those too like "the world out there is dangerous" or "you're still a baby" and I'm also not allowed to be around boys and if you gather all of these things together it's super annoying
