Ariane Lee Not criticizing your opinion but you have to understand that not every Kpop company is a YG/SM/JYP. Not all of them can afford to promote their artists everywhere. Not only that, but smaller groups will always have less exposure because the Korean entertainment industry is saturated and things have become a competition with the big 3 always on top. Korean brands and TV shows would rather invest money into famous Kpop groups from the big 3 because they are already famous from debut so their products would have more exposure compared to when they pick a small group like Gugudan, for example. If a group somehow miraculously manages to become a hit, they get more advertisers and TV shows investing in them thus more exposure. It's not about the company not promoting them properly, it's just how businesses are. If I had a business and wanted it to flourish, I'd rather invest to advertise TWICE/Red Velvet/BlackPink/etc. than Gugudan just because they're extremely famous and well-known with millions of fans which means more people will see/buy my product advertised by them which means I can make more money. Companies would only pick small groups to advertise their products only if they actually have the money to do so. Promotion relies on other businesses, not their company. If you're talking about concerts, Jellyfish entertainment does just fine promoting VIXX and Gugudan on music shows.
