This song is literally so wild from a music theory standpoint. They do so many interesting things chord-wise, like having major vocals on top of a minor backing track, the syncopated vocals before the chorus, the guitar/sax in the bridge, the "when you open your closed eyes" part, and the final minor chord right before the major "speak up" ending. I'm shook to say the least. Whoever wrote this song knows what they're doing and NEEDS to write for Gugudan more.

I am a classical musician. Well, I'm not really a proffesional, but I do know how good songs usually work. Listening to this song in a musical aspect, I can conclude one thing. This song is the bomb. The diversity (omg) and the addition of whistles really piqued my interest. Plus that dance break really caught me by surprise. Usually, we musicians can predict how the next part will sound like, but I didn't expect the dance break to sound like that at all. Also, the last bit, where she said "speak up" without the instrumentals was a great ending. Totally unlike lazily produced songs nowadays.

Gugudan is one of the most versatile and unique groups out there rn I can't believe so many ppl are actually sleeping on legitimate talent. I'm not a gugudan stan by any means but even to me their potential and capability shows through so evidently. This isn't my favorite song of theirs but they completely slayed the concept and visuals. I hope they continue to experiment and diversify their sound!! I'll cheer y'all on and root for gugudan too. Gugudan and Danjjak fighting!!

The MV design is great and Jellyfish actually put a lot more effort in promoting this comeback but I think the line distribution is quite unfair for this one no matter how much I like the sound. And Soyee deserves more screentime, we missed her so much in Act 3 and here we only get her focus in the end :(

This concept really do suits them better !! Starlight here, I've been following them closely since their debuts but I always thought it'd be awesome to have a more mature/sexy concept rather than a cute one. Ever since they did that Chained Up cover, I knew they were more than able to rock it. And this only confirms it !!! A giant applaud to the amazing stylists that did a fantastic job !! The clothes are awesome, the makeup is on point, the hair as well, every girl looks extremely beautiful ❤️ A really good job was done on the whole MV as well ! Really pleasing to look at, I particularly enjoyed the little magic touch at the end with the cat ! ^^ The dance is awesome, the singing is awesome, I'm reallyyyy happy for the girls ! Yaaayyyy ! It had a trendy sound that I will definitely listen to ~ MVs and songs like these are exactly what I like about Jelpi. It's DIFFERENT and ORIGINAL and I reaaaaally enjoy that !
