Before I get into the dangerous skills that Gui Xian has, first I need to talk about the Magic Repel problem and the strategy to deal with it. You see, Gui Xian will start to use Magic Repel at the beginning of the second phase. Naturally making it difficult to do damage to him. However, there is a way to prevent him from using Magic Repel. Which leads me to the gimmick of this boss fight. Gui Xian will not allow any Buffs/Debuffs, and will use Dekaja and Dekunda If any are used. But, this can be used against him. It's seems that ever time a buff is used, his A.I will prioritize Dekaja, and not Magic Repel, especially during the third phase. Buffs seem to work a lot better then Debuffs, as to why is listed below. It’s possible that I might have been able to get away with using Debuffs during the second phase, but I just played it safe and used Buffs. (Also, If your wondering why I spammed Debuffs during the first phase, that was to just make Gui Xian use a press turn in case he used Physical.)
This is what I witnessed during my attempts.
Gui Xian Behavior (Third Phase)
Debuff = Rage, Magic Repel, then Dekunda
Buff = Rage, Dekaja, then Buff/Attack (Depending If he completely stacked a Buff.)
Now with that out of the way, lets talk about the dangers in this fight.
Gate of Hell
Gui Xian will start to use Gate of Hell during the second phase. It's survivable, but If he spams it or use Power Charge a long with it, Heat is the only one with a chance to survive it. However, that's not mentioning the fact that it can also inflict Stone.
Bloodbath
I remember Gui Xian using Bloodbath a lot during my first playthrough. However, during ALL of my attempts, I didn't see him use it once this time. I remember that he starts using it during the third phase, and most of the time he just spams it. I don't recall him ever using Power Charge with it, but It does hurt a lot.
