Guidance gyroscope from a WWII Japanese torpedo in operation! 

Here is an original guidance control unit from a WWII Japanese torpedo. It is being spun up for demonstration purposes with compressed air. The torpedo would originally have a compressed air tank that would run the gyro during its run to target.
